Tried the Burmese cuisine for the very first time and it was love in first bite🤗🤗Burma Burma is a Burmese cuisine vegetarian restaurant. Mostly vegetarians get short of variety to try out at fine dine restaurants but this was a delightful experience! My recommendation of dishes to try out would be the steamed buns stuffed with brown onions and chilli(one of the softest buns i ever had), khao suey and samosa soup!

We tried the Samosa soup, chickpea soup, Crunchy tofu buns, Burma burma khowsuey and rice bowl with chestnut, lotus stem, Chocolate bubble tea and Affogato (dessert). The portion sizes are medium. They offer splits which works better on the pocket 😀Overall a very nice find especially that its an all vegetarian restaurant

6 years ago, I had heard of this place Burma Burma from my friends in Mumbai. It was supposed to be amazing for vegetarians but I never got a chance to be there because I never got a reservation. And now, many many years later, after shifting to Bengaluru, I realised there is a Burma Burma at Bengaluru as well. There was no containing my excitement. I went here over a weekend, sharp at 12 and got a table immediately :) I was pleasantly delighted. We had the coveted Samosa soup, which was a crunchy samosa in a tangy broth with chickpeas. It was light and refreshing. We followed it with tangy spring vegetables steam bun. It was almost like eating a tasty, fluffy cloud with a tasty filling. For main course, we ordered curried mushroom grilled sticky rice. It was delectable and as the name suggests, it was a combination of mushroom and rice with a hint of garlic. The lemon sauce with the sticky rice was amazing.Overall, it was an amazing afternoon meal. A must try for everyone and not just vegetarians.

It was my first experience of burmese cuisine, not gonna lie, one of the best experience of my life, the food is amazing. Variety is great, spicy to bland. Wa potato is must try, also lemon grass curry is awesome. End your meal with Lavishing desert Burma bomb and avacado ice cream 😌. The interior of this place resembles typical Myanmar culture and the richness of it.

One of the very few authentic vegetarian fine dining places you could see these days. And this place serves Burmese cuisine and a lot of tea varities. The place was completely packed even in this covid time. We have to wait for 5 - 10 mins for our seat.Looking at the menu, everything was Greek and Latin since the cuisine was new for us. We ordered the food based on the reviews provided in the internet. We ordered 1 samosa soup and 1 oh no khao swe.Soup was very normal and nothing exotic for the price we paid. The quantity is also not that great even though we ordered (split) which serves two people.Khao swe was more of a coconut milk based noodle which was sweet and has garlic flavour to it.No complaints about the food quality or taste but I felt the prices are expensive. I understand the service and the operational cost involved but 380 for a normal soup and 600 for the coconut milk noodles is way higher that what it is actually. Also they charge 10% of the bill amount as service fee which I felt is on the higher side. The servers were not ready to explain us anything about the food or on how to eat since the cuisine is new for us and for obvious reasons we dont look like people from Burma. Anyway loved the decoration of the place and it is a one time experience.

The restaurant serving only veg. Menu which is a boon to vegetarian and the Burmese cusine is very good. Added to this is there is no liquor served which many of the patrons like it. The lay out and atmosphere is well planned and not crowded. The guests will like the cusine and the varied items are well executed. We were a family party of ten pax. And all of us enjoyed the outing and food. You will like all the drinks, and I had one with tamrind based. Super. The starters are exceptionally tasty and one should try the potato fry, and naan like stuff with the acxompanyment which is super. Must try their steamed buns. Also they serve some thing like our panniyarram which is very good. Do not miss to have their mango 🥜 salad 🥗. Very tasty. And we had varieties of noodles, all were exemplary in taste. They serve some thing made out of rice vermicelli in broth, which I liked very much. On the whole the entire menu is good. The desert varieties are many and whatever we had was superb, like Burma bomb, mouse strawberry 🍓 ice cream, bitter chocolate with Browne etc. On the whole it was a good experience. The staff are very helpfull and kind. Your ordered food ia very quickly executed and even the reordered items come quick. The restaurant has 85-90 covers and the only negetive problem is they have one common restroom, which is kept very neat and dry.

I hope this review doors justice to how amazing the place is! This lunch was a semi-impromptu decision and I must admit that it was a very fine decision!Food: oh dear lord! The food here is absolutely delicious, and literally every dish that was ordered was like a 11/10! The quality of food was very good and it was very well presented too. Also note that this is a 100% vegetarian place and they also have jain options too.Ambiance: It clearly shows that the organization has cared about making the place just drop dead gorgeous! They havent cheaped out in the decor and even the quality of furniture and artwork is great. The whole place has a beautiful wood and cane theme to it. Even their ceramic sink in the toilet looks like its woven from cane.Music: just the way I like it. No words, not too loud yet clearly audible. And just like the ambiance, the music too had a theme that it followed.Service: The staff here are well trained to take good care of their guests and they were all pleased to have us there. From the casual smiles (under the mask) to the occasional Hows your food everything about the service was fantastic. They also explained the food very well before serving it.COVID19: I never felt safer being in a restaurant. Each and every single staff member had their mask on in a proper manner and nobody got too close to us. Yes, they were not very distant from each other all the time , but it was a clean, hygienic and a safe environment.Price: The rates per dish are definitely on the expensive side of things, however it is very well justified. I did not feel guilty of spending ₹2700 for three people at all! Please note that I did not try their tea, but maybe I might give their assortment of tea the next time!Kudos to the team!

One of the best Burmese restaurant in Bengaluru. On top of all, its pure vegetarian. We enjoyed every bit of our visit. Food is excellent, absolutely fantastic. We ordered Pumpkin Basil Soup, Samosa Soup, Smoked Chilli Guava drinks, Peta Naan, Pan Fried Rice Dumplings, Red Chilli Garlic Noodles, Burmese Fried Rice, and so much more. Every single dish was excellent and beautiful done. Deserts, we had Chocolate Bombe, Zen, Avocado Ice Cream and a desert made from Coconut. Here goes our rating,Food - 5/5. Including the garnishing, theyve done excellent job. This is not a place where itll go less on your pocket, let me make that clear, though the portion sizes are relatively big.Service - 4.5 / 5. Good service, theyre humble, get you what you need and they do care. Quick on service and theyll serve you too (nowadays you need to request them to serve, but here theyll do regardless). Though Id love to rate 5/5 hadnt they lifted our plates while the food is still on them, and ofcourse we didnt agree to let them take the plates, but a couple of bowls which we still wanted to finish, they just took them. Kinda wierd considering such a great restaurant and such good people to serve. Wasnt fully happy about that, but I hope that wont be the same for next visit.Ambience - 5 / 5. Fantastic, great Ambience. Relatively small and just a floor for service I guess. So itll be crowded and youll have to wait sometimes. But I think thats helping them to serve customers better. Beautiful interiors, seats and crockery are good too.Overall - 5/5. Nothing can go wrong, this is on our favourite list. Well be definitely coming here soon, to many more.

Located In Indiranagar, it stands its ground amongst the other numerous pubs and fine dine restaurants that dot the place. The ambiance is muted but classy, with artifacts and pictures from Burma (obviously) scattered around. The custom made lamps that hang from the ceiling catch your eye as soon as you enter. A rarely mentioned feature in any restaurant, the Washroom, deserves applause. It is super clean and beautiful👌Food - We started with the crowd favorite, the Samosa Soup, followed by the Raw Mango salad. Burma Burma was suggested by one of my friend. We visited on new year day. Waiting time stretches as they follow social distancing from table to table and they allow 50% occupancy. As the name itself explains, the food served here from Burma. The authentic Burma cuisine which has been mentioned in their menu.Ambience is pretty good. They have tea bar, which is unusual. It’s a pure veg and non-alcoholic restaurant. We ordered: Samosa soup, Raw mango salad, Samosa salad, Crunchy tofu buns, Burmese naan with creamy white pea, Fried rice with tea leaf and Avacado ice cream.Samosa soup: Soup was thin and sharp in taste. Samosa was smashed and soaked. This has let the soup to enhance the spicy. When you sip, you feel the tangy on your tongue and when swallowed you feel slight spicy.Raw mango salad: shred raw mango added with roasted peanuts, red chilly & fried onions to give sweet and tangy savour. Roasted peanut gave hint of smoky flavour, which made me to savour more.Samosa salad: shred cabbage mixed with red chilly, onion, tomato & topped with coriander. This was tart and sharp.Crunchy tofu buns: mushy and airy. The crunch patty stuffed in between the buns and spread with mayonnaise and some red gravy. It was so delicious to savour.Burmese naan: Naan was so mushy and fluffy, I thought it was bun 😊 White pea gravy was served as a dip. As name says, gravy was quite creamy.Fried rice with tea leaf: This dish astonished me because, tea leaf is used for rice and could have had hint or could have enhanced sour flavour, but it didn’t happen that way. Rice was tossed with crunchy finely chopped garlic and fried with tea leaf. It was an out of the world taste. Smooth and nice.Avocado ice cream: quality was great. Topped with sago & honey. Presentation was absolutely creative, as they served with bowl of nitrogen liquid, so we feel it’s snowy. They have different dinning area for family. Table booking is taken upto 1pm and 7pm in the evening. Further to this time, it’s direct walk-in. Make sure you are on time.Staffs are amazing. I must mention, Mr. Kabir Hussain who is the captain of cooking crew and helped us to savour all these distinct food. We were so happy about his suggestions.Temperature is checked for each customer and every table is sanitised before occupied.Food taste:5/5Ambience: 4/5Staff: 5/5Price: Quite high - they can revisit on pricing. I’m sure, it would grab more customers.Note: Due to covid, if you feel safe then visit. Wear mask and carry sanitiser. STAY SAFE!!

There are beautiful lights above all tables. Sanitizer is available right on the table. Decor is very thoughtful (for example there is this teapot on the table which has potpourri inside, decorations at the entrance and the little Imli sweets which are given with the bill) and vibes are so relaxed. A scrumptious dinner for free!!!Here how it goes, we ordered a few times but never actually visited this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. I must say, the place looks little small initially but beautifully done, delicious food, courteous staff and good ambiance makes up for it.We ordered some starters and drinks to begin the evening and then graduated to mains. Just before the main course was served, unfortunately, there was a power cut. So we ate in slightly dimmer light which was cozy in some ways. Little warm but manageable. Here is the twist, when we requested for the cheque, the staff refused to accept money due to the inconvenience caused by the power cut. We were definitely not expecting that!!! It was very generous of them to even consider that. I applaud the management for looking after their customers so well. I will definitely revisit this restaurant and will highly recommend it too.Note: - Its a pure veg restaurant and no alcohol is served here.

They have some very interesting soups, we tried the mustard soup which was excellent (only if you like mustard flavour!). They have a variety of salads, we had the combo platter with 3 salads, of which sunflower leaves salad was quite unique. The lotus stem chips was nice to try with the assortment of sauces that were from tangy to very spicy. The portion sizes are generous, so in main course we could just manage the Burmese fried rice (excellent) and the avocado ice-cream (too sweet, but nice presentation). Its a vegetarian place but they have a couple of dishes with mock meat, but you really wont miss the meat here! Book in advance, its crazy busy always. I hardly noticed that everything was vegetarian, one dish was better than the next. Terrific food and dessert and lots of options to buy little knick-knacks and take-away sauces as gifts for yourself or friends. Would definitely return on my next visit to the city.

Must visit for an amazing foodgasm ... Vegetarian place with an amazing line up of dishes that are unique, tasty as well as satisfying. 5 stars for food. Service is prompt , slightly on the expensive side but fine dining at its best for a reason.Do reach early if you dint want to wait for long. No online booking accepted so you have to visit and wait.

Cute eatery with tasty food! Went there to celebrate my birthday with family and although we ended up waiting 20 minutes for a table, we had the best time! The portion sizes are slightly on the smaller side, but makes it easy to order a wider variety.I would definitely go back here.

Again, a romantic place to have an amazing Vietnam’s cuisine that too Veg varieties, kids friendly as we went as 4-5 families however you need to walk in or let them know well in advance to plan such gatherings. Staff is really helpful and supportive if you are new to this place.Great food, nice mock-tails and lovely ambiance to spend your evening!

Amazing food. If you wanted to have a taste of Burma (or so we believe😄) this is the place to go.The good thing is you dont come out regretting adding calories or eating junk. The food is relatively healthier to Indian cuisine with the texture of coconut across the range.Price: ~ 900 per personWaiting: This is the only complaint I have. They dont take advance booking (at least am sure over the weekend) and people end up waiting/walking in the street for 45mins to two hours depending on how soon you come.If coming for lunch here over the weekend (note kitchen closes 3:30PM) come by 12PM. Or plan to come book and find a mall or go to Decathlon to spend the next hour waiting.Fun Fact: The cuisine is inspired from Burma coz the owners mother is Burmese. So we might as well believe this is authentic Burmese. Good food and good staff :)

All the items we ordered were very good. Covid break hasnt affected their service level or quality and taste. Pricing is on the higher side. Otherwise no complaints. Service is also very good. All the waiters are quite aware of the ingredients, lead time for the fish to be ready, etc etc.

Ordered twice with them! The food is very good. The first time the quantity of food was very good and everyone at home were very happy. Second time the quantity of food received was much lower . I hope they correct that!

Burma Burma was a delight after all the disappointment in Bangalore. The samosa soup was perfect for the cold evening. I also had bubble tea, as I have heard alot about it. It was a delight. For starters we had chickpea tohu, it was yummy and not to miss the portion size is quite good. I would highly recommend this place if you ich for trying new foods and lit your taste buds.I have not mentioned anything about the ambience, bit when the food is good who cares about the ambience.
