We know very well .. we are in covid situation , however after visiting guntur railway station its clearly visable its not just government issues , its more people issue by not following social distancing , people with no masks ....With respect to service .. there are two railway employees and they trying their best to do work and issue tickets.

One of the largest railway station in Andhra Pradesh, it is well maintained and clean.Guntur railway station handles around 43,000 passengers every day and has multiple entry and exit gates on both sides. The main entrance located at Railpet side is known as Guntur Government Hospital gate in common parlance. It leads to platform number 1. This entrance has been named as terminal-I and has gate numbers 1 to 7. The entrance on the rear side, also known as Arundalpet side, has been named as terminal-II

Has good security of police in every platform it is nice to be at this place the platforms are well maintained the station is clean and hygiene and their is a hospital near the station for emergency also

Everything is good I seen police officers are monitoring whether the passengers wear masks are not. Its good railways station

The AC waiting room was extremely crowded and the person in-charge of the room charged money as per his will and allowed any number of people without keeping in mind the severity of the Pandemic. Even the station was extremely crowded and had no provision of restrictions to be followed to keep away from the spread of the virus. Highly disappointing!Not a good experience to be at Guntur railway station!

Busy railway station with convenient facilities of Washroom, food stalls, waiting area & water filling. A good place to board your train from, its a divisional headquarters.

Usually, not that crowded at night and hygiene is ok. and they have fish exports section in the passengers walking section. which smells so pungent and unbearable to stay or wait over in that place. Take care of your surroundings & belongings.

Neat, clean and tidy surroundings, hygeinically maintained, all is well in general. Railways certainly deserve appreciation for the good work & efforts made in maintaining such a large station to good standards, passengers need to extend their valuable cooperation for maintaining cleanliness.

Station is good in condition. You can find toilets on the 1st platform at the terminal. The halting trains are cleaned after its arrival. Some construction work is under progress at the 5th platform terminal. Overall its in good condition.

In March 2021, I find this railway station very neat and clean. My train no. 07230 reached here at platform number 1. and this platform was very neat and clean. It has quick water refile shop. It aslo has various sellers selling veg and non veg biryani. Sailors were sailing and coffee also. I did not find any other seller when I will check disk space station in the evening of March 10, 2021.

Guntur Railway station is more than a hundred years old and is one of the bigger stations on the South Coast Railway zone. It is an Adarsh station.It is now a major junction on the Vijayawada Bangalore section & on the Hyderabad Chennai section. Trains from major state capitals all pass through this station or terminate here. Its about 40 km to Vijayawada.It has all the major passenger amenities including elevators, air-conditioned waiting rooms, refreshment stalls for tea, coffee, dosa, biriyani, meals, breakfast etc.It is also a very well-maintained and clean station.Being a huge station, there is a lot of passenger traffic and renovation and development are a continuous process.

Very neat and tidy.One of the oldest railway station in India.It is proving different amenities like stalls, waiting rooms, wash rooms..The uniqueness of the station is subways.All the platforms interlinked by subway.Outside the station good staying facilities are available.

They seem to be only allowing passengers on to the platform. No hawkers, no friemds and family (which is a good thing).. But the pathway to the platform number two is YUCK#... Filled with pungent smell of Fish.. Disgusting.. No social distancing happening
