This place is very much familiar to me because I was born & grown up here & spent 26 years of my life. There are there occasion we celebrate here in a year. These are : Durgapuja, Makar Sangkranti & Kaali Puja.Notably mention that there is also a Kaali Mandir. Once upon a time We used to have a great fun in Jolkali,a part of Kaali puja.In Makar Sangkranti we collect rice & vegetables from our villagers by singing and dancing called Horan Nach and cook and serve Hotchpotch (Khichuri) among us.During Durgapuja we enjoy a lot with the various cultural program like Sandhya Aroti, Loko Sangeet and Rock Dance.
