I wanted to open an SBI zero account. To make process faster, I already submitted documents on YONO app. It gave a reference code stating you should approach bank in order to get passbook within 15 days (15 days is validity of code, after that itll get expired). When I went there, that lady literally said that I dont have software for zero account. For which I replied So should I install it in your computer or what? Then I went to Manager, he said we are not opening any zero account, plz go to sbi customer care point. I thought there also we will get zero account without any fees, but that guy is asking 200rs. But now the problem is I have already submitted documents on YONO app, until that code is expired I cannot open new account. Now its been a month still its showing the same. When I go to bank telling still code is not expired even after a month they reply No, no its expired after 15 days. But again in SBI customer care point the guy is saying No, still its showing that account is already in the bank which makes no sense at all. So I have been roaming from this 2 places continuously. But nothing happened. So I finally left it.
