A truly spectacular place to hike - seriously impressive whether to weather is terrible or great! Trails are still accessible and passable in late November, but with far less hikers to share them with. A hidden gem.

Took small cable car up part way, then switched to large cable car up to a beautiful lake high up on the mountain. It was partly cloudy which made for ever changing wonderful views and pictures. Hiked down mountain for 3 hours past gushing river and waterfalls. Returned to town via funicular after stopping for coffee and a snack. Amazing experience for everyone in our group.Our hotel provided us with walking/trekking sticks. I highly recommend you use these. The path is well marked but is extremely uneven and difficult to walk without the aid of the sticks.

Beautiful way through the valley. We did the way from Zbonijcka Chata to Tatranska Lomnica since it was our third day of hike, but it is also possible to make the other way. The way to Tatranska is almost completely downhill, and toke us about 4.5 hours of walking, including stops for coffee and hiding out from the rain. We highly recommend this trail.

One of the best and most picteresque places in High Tatra mountains. Breathtaking views. Highly recommend visiting early in the morning, when theres still fog.

The cablelift up was very expensive, 18 euros per adult, which is way too much for a student like me. Which is why I hiked all the way to the top via the cart-track and the pistes, where a reservoir/lake is situated. The view from here is amazing. I took the route over the side of the mountain past rivers and waterfalls. This hike took me approximetaly 8 hours, so I would recommend starting earily.

The valley is quite nice, but some fallen trees are in the lower part (due to winds and some worms). The biggest drawback are huge crowds up until Zamkovska chalet. Then its much quieter.

Lovely trail, with lots of raspberries on the way :) if you wander here the right time of the year. Otherwise it is an easy way with spectacular views, well recommended.

The place is amazing. But its necessary to wake up early and start the hike just before the sunrise. During day, its really crowdy area. Also its great to stay overnight in some of the mountain huts.

Beautiful trails for a nice 4 hour hike around the waterfall. This hike is very well recommended, if youre the adventurous type. The hike goes past the skiing slopes and through the mountains.

One of the best valleys in High Tatras! Lots of track with stunning views.

The location is so beautiful with a lot of hiking options for any time and effort. Very good for families with kids and for those who new to hiking. You can find a lot of blackberries, raspberries and lingonberries along the route making the whole trip tasty for those who usually do not see it.

Fantastic place, great nature, beautiful scenery, what else can you ask for. Visited Zbojnícka chalet, great chalet, unfortunately the staff is not so great, one of the worst from all the high tatras chalets. When we asked for availability of vegan meal, we were told we should have brought some with us. Which we did but asked simple question anyway. The lady was abrupt. On the contrary, visit Teryho chalet and you will feel immediately at home. But the great cold Valley is great and well worth to visit.

I was amazed with this place. Its so peaceful, with beatiful views andwell prepared paths... Even after just two hours there you can calm yourself and come back home happy.

Wonderful nature, beautiful waterfalls surrounded by High Tatra rocky mountains. 1 h hike from Smokovec to reach the waterfalls. You can also take rope train to go uphill and downhill instead of hiking. Then there is only 20 minutes hike to the waterfalls.

Very nice place in cold, sunny weather with lot of snow around. The ICE church is pretty interesting to see.

Perfect, we really like it here

I always enjoy hiking in this are. The valley is changes slightly after the huge wind storm 10 year ago but this is wild nature and it belong to it. You can see the natural restoration of the forest. I very much recommend hiking up to the Zbojnicka chata where you can refresh yourself or get accommodation to overnight. There are 3 possible routes to get there, one through the valley, the other two through beautiful but challenging mountain passages.
