Its a good place to visit in Gorakhpur. This place is located in Ramgadh Taal. Currently there is no entry ticket but govt. has introduced rs 10 entry ticket which will be started soon. Price for boating varies from rs 60 per ticket to 100₹ per ticket,based on the type of boat you choose. Water is not very clean. But this place is good if it is maintained well and crowd is controlled properly.

Nauka Vihar has been the centre of attraction for decades for the people of Gorakhapur. It went through a painfully slow development process and and now become the hotspot of the city.The only problem with more and more exoticism being attached to this place is lack of crowd management infrastructure. Ramgarh Tal is a lake located in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. In 1970, at its largest size, the lake covered an area of 723 hectares (1,790 acres) with a circumference of 18 kilometres (11 mi). Today, it covers about 678 hectares (1,680 acres).It is believed that there was a village named Ramgarh that collapsed due to a disaster, creating a big hole that eventually got filled with water.In 1985, Vir Bahadur Singh became Chief Minister and formulated a plan to develop Ramgarh Tal as a tourist center. This plan was later abandoned following his death in 1989.When Yogi Adityanath took over the role of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2017, he unveiled plans to develop the lake into an international-level tourist spot.The UP government also unveiled plans to notify the lake under the Wetland Management Rules.At present, the NGT (National Green Tribunal) manages upkeep and protection of the lake. Due to the activism of the NGT, construction work has been banned within a radius of 500 meters

A good place to chill. The motor boat trip is Rs 60 for 500 metres and Rs 100 for 1km per person. There are a lot of scope to improve this place. Increasing trees in the garden for shade must be the first on the list or there should be a shade installed on the way to nauka vihar in summer or monsoon.

Folks/people are very irresponsible they pollute the beautiful place by throwing garbage or disposal or plastic everywhere after eating and using. Some Shopkeeper are awar and some not. Everyone wants enjoyment but no one wants to contributing in maintaining cleanliness. Everyone randomly put their vechicle on the roadside still there free parking spot. I requesting all folks please maintain the cleaness of this place...and like follow me on Google map.

Taramandal is big and clean. However the lake is dirty

Place is good but lack of food. There is no halal nonveg neither juice and any food for lunch. Only you can get corn and patato paties there. I was hungry with my daughter I m very disappointed😞.
