Cafe environment is good and all foods are tasty.Good Hang out place.

But needs improvisation and maintenance.놘 – Rooms could have been maintained well, toiletries were missing.Bathrooms arent maintained properly.Sometimes there are unpleasant smell around the property.Lots of mosquitoes around. Which can be very tuff to sleep during the night without odomos or mosquito coils.Hot water is not available.All the cons will make sense when wewe pay around 3k to 4k per night. Since we pay around so much. These basic stuffs will be mandatory.눀 – Loved the ambience, location. Perfect for the beach and sun set lovers.Loved the host. Saket and praful are really a great host.

Stayed here for a few days and its a lovely place by the sea. One can just walk a few metres from the hotel and jump into the water like a happy seal. The waves at this beach are great at almost all times of the day and the sea just beckons us. You can watch the sunset everyday sitting at the cafe with a hot cup of ginger tea and some pakodas or whatever you fancy.Since this was the time of Covid, I guess the kitchens inventory wasnt completely stocked. They have Israeli, Chinese and Tibetan food on the menu, but that wasnt available. Would have been good to have a smaller menu with only the items that were available. The food also takes some time to get cooked and come to the table, so I recommend ordering multiple rounds such as starter and then the main course so they have time to bring the items over.Their King Fish tava fry, dals, poori for breakfast and masala omelets are excellent! The chicken curry with rice is by far their best dish and a must have.There were a few dogs and cats that we made friends with as well, and it was fun playing with them too. The room was good, basic but comfortable. They do not have heaters so if youre a fan of cold showers, this is for you.Altogether a really nice place to stay and have a quiet time with friends. Will definitely return in the future.

Evening was at its best

A lousy, pretentious cafe with a signboard and some plants on the edge of the beach. I went here during peak hour (Sunday evening) and nobody even acknowledged my presence. The staff was just a couple of guys who carried an attitude and looked totally uninterested to work there. Nobody said hello, no menu was given and there wasnt even any eye contact. A loud bunch of guys who entered 15 minutes after me were promptly welcomed. When I asked the waiter, he looked like hed seen a ghost and just ignored me. I ate at every cafe on this beach and even the more modest ones had such a welcoming vibe, unlike Sunset Cafe. Im glad I didnt hang around for longer, and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. There are much, much better options on this beach.

Beautiful view! Delicious food, hospitable staff.I only see people coming here, other restaurants or shacks next to it are almost always empty. This seems to be a people favourite, and rightly so!
