My mother-in-law took her precious Bella to Petco first time getting haircut. bad customer service they didnt let her explain how much hair she wanted to cut off. they send our Bella home looking horrible and they charge her $50.00 the job they did looked like the person didnt care how the poor dog would look like and they did it in a rush. never ever would go back there. we were all very 💔 because shes part of our family and our baby. next time pay attention to your customers and ask yourself if the hair cut u give the poor animals is the same hair cut u would do for yourself or your family. shame on you Petco👎I would put a before and after pics.

Nice pet supplies and grooming stores. We had some time waiting for our home Depot curbside pick up to be ready; so, decided to look at the animals they have for sale at Petco. Nice clean place and had fun looking at the fish, snakes, geckos and turtles.

This store is a mess. So many employees. Boxes everywhere. Makes no sense to stock shelves with customers in and out asking for assistance. Could barely find walking room in some sections. Not once greeted by any of the many staff members I saw. I will not visit this store again. Sorry petco but this store needs a lot of work.

The Velcro makes it very easy to take off and put back on. The soft and hard panels allow the dog to move around the house easier and also not hurt me when he walks next to my leg.- Update: after about three days the hood had fallen apart. The sewn on material had ripped off and the clear plastic panels had chipped and left sharp edges. It might work for a small dog that stays indoors but not for a big dog that goes outdoors when he wants.

Petco Glendale is very clean and well stocked which is always much appreciated. Petco carries so many quality brands of dog and cat food now that its easy to try out different thing until your picky pet finds their favorite. You can even find Just Food For Pets in the freezer case. Of course food for all pets can be found at Petco so no bird Guinea pig or fish will go hungry or toy less.

I feel like theyre going to be closing down soon. I say this only because it becomes apparent to me when the shelves are not stocked albeit I was only looking to start an aquarium. They didnt have enough stuff on the shelves for me to start one so I decided to shop elsewhere unfortunately. As I was talking to an associate she was telling me that they were probably not going to be getting any more stock and closing down shortly.

I feel very disapointed about the grooming at this petco, I took my Husky Roxy for a Bath+shed release treatment today, I regret every second of it from the moment I booked the appointment, I use to take her to The La Cañada petco and their service is awesome and since its the same company I thought what could go wrong?Well let me tell you, I paid $60 for a bath + shed, for starters she wasnt all dry at all, and a wet dog smells like a wet dog no matter what you do, that is the main reason I go to the groomer instead of giving her a bath my self, and second, there was no shed treatment at all, I mean, huskies shed a lot and for that reason I always pay for the service, they did nothing, my poor Roxy is still shedding the same amount as she was before the treatment which has never happen before, usually she is almost shed free for at least 2 weeks after treatment, today is a different story, I got charged $20 for nothing, never going there again, Id rather wait the insane amount of time that takes to go to the other petco, appointments are weeks apart but is well worth the wait. People beware, this place is not any good for your dogs...

They always tell me that they will send a expert but that expert never comes I have to get my own sacks of food from the top shelves by my self. Also last time I took my dog to grooming they hurt him his Nails where so bad cut and he was limping. I GOT S MAD AT THE GROOMER. SHE answere me rooney. I will never come to Petco .

My husband and I were in this store today grabbing litter. We witnessed an extremely rude and entitled woman speaking down to one of your employees. The employee handled it with such grace and professionalism, I felt inspired to write this. People need to treat everyone with respect, specially during these hard times. I apologized for her behaviour after she left.. how embarrassing for her ..and her turtle.

Alot of shelfs were empty. Drove all the way to purchase my dogs favorite treats which were not available. The whole store inventory was scattered all over, and I had to ask where things were.

This is my 2nd time stepping into this Petco and I was surprised at their collection/setup of fishes. There was so much more life to it than the usual Petco that I go too. It was well lite and the tanks had way more plants in it with healthier looking fishes. Not only that there was more staff at the fish location than Ive ever seen. I literally was there an hr because I came in for a light bulb and some plants and ended up leaving with a new 10gallon tank. I recieved a discount for the box being open while it was already on sale. I also bought this beautiful betta, it was tucked away from the front display and in the back rack. So happy I found him, hes beautiful with many colors and kind of spotty but Im hoping those are nothing serious.

Cashier could not find my order then when they found my order it was missing a product and I still got charged for it not happy with the service

Upon being checked out client was very quiet and seemed not too interactive almost seemed to be having bad day which I respect.

My puppy just began her first heat cycle so naturally I knew I would need to purchase a diaper. I looked up diapers available for pickup on Petco website, since I shop there often, and saw they had washable diapers in stock. Great! When I got there they had limited stock from what was said on the website. All was there was xs and my puppy is in between sizes but the washable diapers stretch so I thought maybe it could work. I purchased them, and mind you I wasnt reminded about the return policy or informed it has changed prior to purchase. I look at the receipt and says I got plenty of time to return in case my puppy is actually bigger than the size I bought. When I get home I took one of the diapers out of the packaging and before even putting on the diaper I could tell it wasnt going to fit her. This is fine. Ill go back again tomorrow and return it. When I try to return the item Im informed that due to CDC guidelines, they no longer accept returns at this moment, come back a month later to see if anything has changed by then. I was informed AFTER I purchased the item. If I was informed before I wouldnt have taken the chance that the diapers wouldnt fit and just not made the purchase. I understand that things can change due to Covid-19 but employees should inform customers before purchases that the return policy has changed. And instead of getting upset I told the employee I understand and asked if they could look up which Petco has a bigger size. They then told me that I would have to call Petco myself to find out which location has a bigger size. Not much help.I still needed a diaper for my puppy so I looked up other pet stores in the area and saw there is a Pet Food Express not far from the Petco location I was at. I looked up washable diapers on PFE website, saw they had all sizes available at the nearest location to me. Immediately walking inside PFE I was welcomed. I asked the employee if they had any washable dog diapers and they personally walked me to the products. They even asked me questions like What does my dog need them for? What breed is my dog? and How much does she weigh?. They gave me recommendations for what products would be best. And after I chose a diaper they told me BEFORE I purchased it what the return policy was.The diaper from Pet Food Express fits perfectly! And I still have the Petco diaper that I dont need. Money down the drain.Customers ALWAYS ask what the return policy is at Petco because every month it could be different due to Covid-19. Dont rely on the employees to inform you.

This rating is for the experience I had on that day. At the register while checking out I was putting in my rewards # and made a mistake the cashier asked me for the number and also messed up.so Instead of asking me for my rewards number he went ahead and scanned this bar code infront of her and when I asked him if he got my number, he then went ahead and lied and said yes.While walking to the car I checked my receipt and and it was not so🙄. I WANT MY REWARDS POINTS,CAUSE WHEN IM KINDDA BROKE ITS NICE TO USE THE REWARDS. AND I GO TO PETCO EVERY WEEK

My current body is in its 80th year and it was the first time I have been in a store in 4 or 5 months - I just had to get a little parakeet friend for my existing parakeet so I braved the outing and it was smooth and respectful and helpful. I felt quite safe.

This store is really great. The staff are knowledgable, they show genuine care for your pets, and are invested in helping you find the right products for them. Petco in general has good policies for healthy food, returns, price matching... Its a special treat for my pets to go to Petco, anyway, but the staff at this location make it fun for me as well.

Hello Ramon. On Feb. 1st, I had ordered some flea control products for my dogs using the Petco website. I chose to pick-up the products myself at the Glendale Petco. I arrived a few hours later. I waited at the counter designated with a sign for order pick ups. there was no sales associate at the counter to assist me in picking up my order. which completely defeats the purpose of the convenience by ordering online. I ended up standing in the long line of about 10 to 15 customers ahead of me only to be told by you that my order wasnt filled yet and I needed to wait a few more minutes to only be told now the store no longer has the products I ordered. So I end up purchasing other flea control products spending about $35.00 more then I had budgeted. I also was assured that my bank account had not been charged and the order was canceled. On Feb 4th I review my bank statements to find that my bank account was still charged.

I am only giving this store a 5 star rating is because Asia and Maggie ere amazing. I would give a 1 star to corporate because they don’t see an issue with have prices on line cheaper then in store. Get with it. When it comes to our pets, we want to bring them in, but ended up spending time on line getting the internet pricing. If that dose not change anytime soon, Amazon will take over and you will be out of business like the rest, closing down stores because customers will not be coming In.

Olive was a great and very friendly employee. Olive had great customer service. I have been going to this location for years and have always found their customer service to be subpar. When I went yesterday things changed. Olive was quick to greet us at the store and helped up very quickly.

Very good service, cleanliness and products, but everything is overpriced. Way too expensive! I will give it 5 stars if it’s not because of their products high cost.

Service depends on who is on duty. You cannot rely on the shift managers to resolve problems without invoking the store manager. The staff more often than not seems overwhelmed, recently.

The cashier was very friendly. He was able to explain to me what I needed and what was good for my kitten. I also thought the store was very clean. It made my shopping so easy and not stressful to look and pick what I needed.

This Petco was open for business and fully stocked, during this time in crisis. I’m very pleased with their customer service.
