DPD parcel service is not only third class but not even comparable local courier service. I received message that sorry we have missed you but no one has knocked my door. And smart driver has posted picture of apartment main door gate.

Flat buzzer was broken so we left instruction to deliver to neighbours. They didnt even try the neighbours, they just took the parcel back to the warehouse.I rang them and explained the parcel was very important and absolutely had to be delivered that day. They said they would arrange delivery later in the day and then didnt bother to deliver the parcel when they said they would.Ill never use them again and will stay well clear, the delivery driver on this occasion clearly had a no f#!!$!ks given attitude and as a result I ended up without the parcel that been sent urgently.

My order was due to be delivered today. I should have been told a delivery time by 7am but it is now afternoon and no-one has contacted me and there is no way of contacting DPD as the only number they have is a useless automated message which contains no information. Appalling company and terrible service. Avoid using them if at all possible.

I have seen the driver taking photos of my windows, so I went to the door to open it, and waited for him. He drove into our parking lot, he messed around the back of the van, jumped back to the car and drove away. I tried to run after his van to stop him, but he was way too fast. Then I received the message that he wasn’t able to deliver my package. That was Jim - I hope that his manager will read this…

I would never knowingly use any company that uses DPD as their delivery partner. The drivers make no reasonable attempt to deliver when you are actually sitting in your house waiting. I live in a flat and it seems the security entry control is beyond their understanding so they give up too easily. Even when they have my phone number. All other delivering company make deliveries. DPD tell me they are following procedure but lack common sense and problem solving on how to get through a door. Delivery company that does not know how to deliver.

Absolute joke of a courier company where if the driver cannot be bothered to deliver your parcel to the 3rd floor flat they will send you an automated text saying unable to deliver your parcel even though you have been in all day and the buzzer or doorbell hasnt rung once. If this doesnt frustrate you enough when you go onto the live chat to resolve the issue with customer services you will soon realise you are communicating with an artificially intelligent android sending repetitive automated messages back to you! I have only dealt with this company a handful of times and there has been issues every single time easily the worst courier experiences I have ever had hence the 2 star customer rating online 👎Having since read some reviews after making my own i now know several customers have had the same joke of an experience in dealing with these amatuers 🤡😂👎

Parcel didnt make it out of their depot. DPD sent it back at one point, claiming lack of necessary documents, which they hadnt asked for originally. When the documents were supplied they conveniently didnt have them after time passed and we were forced to call to inquire. No updates throughout, the package could be in Timbuktu and youd be none the wiser.

I think theyre awesome. Get my parcels mostly on time and theyre respectful of fragile content. Staff seem super nice.

Got messages that their driver couldnt deliver- no contact. Time that he tried to do it? 11pm then 5 am.Next time I was waiting for parcel that need ID shown on delivery, instead of a parcel got a messsage parcel was refused, as contact name was not recognised. Problem is no courier showed up at my door at the hour slot they gave me.

I had problems printing the label and took the parcel to the Glasgow depot. They were very courteous polite and helpful. My parcel was delivered to the south of England the next day. The price was very reasonable.Would definitely recommend 10 out of 10

Lazy driver, my package was deliver to my neighbour because driver is too lazy to get upstairs. Same driver did it twice. Good company turned into joke. When I was caring the package I hurt my back.

Do not use this company, they do not pick-up when they say they will then theres no way to contact them if theres an issue, contact number is useless and their instant chat doesnt work. They look slick on the outside but a total nightmare, avoid at all cost.

My parcel was due Saturday night between 18.50-19.50. When the time past I checked the app and it said “said sorry we missed you”. No your not because you didn’t turn up. I was sitting on my veranda all the time and you couldn’t have gotten passed me without me seeing you. Too late on a Saturday night for you to be bothered. Shameful

My family sent me flowers from Manchester to arrive next day. They probably did but they were dumped at my front door and no card through letter box therefore I didnt know they were there. My family thought they had gone missing so sent another lot of flowers these arrived today also dumped at front door card through letter box with nothing on it. We do not use our front door. My family phoned me to check the front door and lo and behold two boxes propped on the step one completely sodden through the other half sodden. Disgraceful way to deliver parcels obviously the first box has been lying for six days now with withered flowers.

Worst service. I have been sitting at home due to coronavirus isolation and my package was not delivered for 4 days, I waited. I then had no choice but to pay £5.00 to reorganise another delivery time. So, I will be waiting again tomorrow from 8.30am-12pm for my package! I am very upset with this organisation. They are taking money from us and not delivering our packages.No complaints number on their website either. A DPD driver collected a faulty bike from my address on May 17th to be returned to House of Frasers, the only thing that was returned was tools and smashed reflector, clearly the driver has stolen the bike and no one is willing to help me and my young daughter is without her birthday present.

Parcel delivered to completely the wrong house and only a photo to go by to track it down.

They attempted to deliver twice and nothing. You.cant even speak via online chat yet again another bot that tells you SORRY WE MISSED YOU even though.i have been sitting waiting in my house. Worst courier experience to date! Ordered Saturday delivery on a Thursday morning, was at Chelmsford by Friday, it took my parcel 15 hours to get from Chelmsford to the DPD Cambuslang depot, then only to sitthere from 9am on Saturday and never showing up despite a message saying it would be delivered on Saturday. Ended up having to rearrange delivery to a dropoff point that is open after I finish work, 30 minutes away from me. But even then, it took them 4 more days to get the package delivered. Will avoid in future at all cost!!

It was the first time that I interacted with DPD today, as the seller of a sensitive electronic component that I bought online, used this service for dispatching this item. Through the online tracking number I was able to accurately monitor the progress of my delivery. The added bonus is the real-time tracking of the van until it arrived at my door. This enabled me to collect the item easily and on-time, and the delivery time was exact at the time predicted in the tracking page. Overall a very good experience for this delivery.

Paid extra for next day and the driver didn’t even find the house. Took a picture of the local dentist.. we thought it had been delivered there but the women in the dentist he said couldn’t find the house. We live right on the Main Street probably easiest home to find. Now my partner has first day college with no laptop. Thanks DPD

3 days wasted last week waiting in for a delivery, and nobody turned up. There was no card left to contact them. The parcel was then returned to the sender.

Absolutely terrible! Needed a package urgently. Upgraded myself to get 2 day delivery. That was a week ago. I still do not have my package. Been on the phone with customer service 3 times. Ive even offered to pick it up at the depot. If you have any choice, NEVER use this carrier. Ive attached no picture as I have nothing to take a picture of. This in no way changes my opinion of the delivery company, but their customer service people are very nice. They work hard to try and help the customers (unlike the drivers/delivery people). So when you call to complain, try to remember that the person who answers the phone is not responsible and they really do want to help.

I wouldnt even give this company a 1 star review - I waited for over 2 hours at my office after work last night - the driver arrived 30 minutes late and then simply drove round and away without getting out of his van - no attempt to come to our door. I cannot get a hold of anyone from the company to make sure this does not happen again tonight as I am again being told there will be a delivery between 5:30- & 6:30 - on the phone now for 30 minutes - what a terrible terrible service !!! Why don’t DPD have a local telephone number? One thing l find infuriating about many businesses these days, is they don’t want you contacting them. And if there is a phone number, it is well hidden!!! Your web site can’t possibly answer all questions, so do not assume it can.

Complete joke of a company. I receive parcels regularly and DPD without doubt ranks the lowest of all delivery services. I dont believe they even attempt to deliver items to your door. I have caught delivery drivers outside my flat and they didnt even make an effort to deliver it - no cards, no info, NO CLUE!!!

DPD decide that theyre not going to deliver to the drop off store Id asked them to, but directly to me. Fine, I was in the flat anyways. Except then I get a message telling me its been delivered! Nobody knocked on the door, and all theyve given me is a name they say signed for it. So no idea if its with a neighbour, which neighbour or whether theyve delivered it to the wrong address or what. I was in the flat, this was completely unnecessary. Absolutely useless delivery company.

Waiting on a delivery within my 1 hour window I was given and apparently someone came to my door and left a card outside in the windy weather. Lost parcel within being picked up from Paisley to the sorting warehouse in Glasgow. How is that even possible? Parcel was an expensive car part in its original branded box. My guess is someone who works there knew what it is and now has it. I was told I should of taken out insurance to cover it. Shocking experience one member of staff in particular called Roxy argued that my parcel was not there and let me go to try and call the supplier to find out where it was then she calls me with my first name to say oh I have found it. Driver claimed to knock on my door even though I was sitting waiting for the parcel and heard absolutely nothing, all i received was a photo of flowers in my neighbours garden! When I called to find a resolution to receive my parcel in a suitable time slot the following day, i was told it wasnt possible to agree a new time unless I paid and was blamed for the situation, very poor customer service.

For a place run by logistics experts your depot pick up service is rank rotten. No clear signage on arrival. Once I figured out where to go through the gate no one answers, its pretty much another guessing game as to where to head next. The service window was vacant and when at last someone reacted to the bell, he was as cusromer focused as one of those part time signs you employ. Spend a bit of money and improve the customer experience and more importantly, safety. Thanks!

Requested parcel to be left in my garden... this failed to happen twice. Now I’m apparently suppose to collect from depot over an hours drive away or else my parcel gets sent back to the sender. Why offer options to customers ? What about people who can’t drive ? How do they get to your depot to pick up their items which were meant to be delivered ? Shambles.

No one came even for my parcel I payed for, and order in the early morning , it supposed to be in the US in next few days, now they just rebooked me, and it probably wont, its their mistake driver didnt even contact me, I spent all day at home waiting, but live help didnt offer me any upgrades on the parcel, I wanted to make a official complain, live help couldnt even direct me to anywhere I could make such a complain, now I am afraid the driver wont show up again, and my parcel wont be where it should on time. There should be a negative rating system for just this kind of scenario.1. Got my address wrong2. Fixed address, Tuesday, waited in the house for 4 hours, 3 hours past my allocated slot. App updated to say someone had come to the door within the time.3. Wednesday, Changed to a totally different address. Sat in the window and waited, saw the van park up outside, the man didnt get out and then a few minutes drove off. Got a notification saying no one was home and that they would deliver to a local drop off point4. Thursday, Waited all of the next day to get my pass to pick up from Londis, find out about 8 o clock that the drop off point was closed. Now I cant even get to the bottom of where my parcel is, nor can I even get to a point where I can pick from their depot.Total waste of time, incredible this company is still in business.Avoid like the plague.

After reading a lot of negative reviews, I still decided on DPD to deliver to deliver my parcel to my daughter in Italy because of the price. Royal Mail wanted £40 and DPD charged £18. Glad I did choose them .. Everything happened exactly as it should and I could track the parcel all the way. Dont rely on these reviews... People are more inclined to make the effort to leave a review when the service is poor. There will be millions of satisfied customes who dont feel its worth mentioning

Completely dishonest drivers. Waited in for 3 hours for my delivery slot and then get a message to say I wasnt in and a calling card had been left. Neither were true and when I phoned up to ask what happened, the driver told more lies by saying the roads were shut, how did I and then my wife a half hour into our slot drive home then to our very accessible city centre address? Not only has this wasted my day off but the next day parcel we really needed never came.

Claimed to have attempted delivery three times and put three delivery cards through my letterbox - complete fabrications!!! Finally got my package myself over a week late (and yes, the delivery address on the package was correct, so God only knows who they were trying to deliver it to...if anyone). Sender just as unhappy as I am, not good.

I wouldn’t even rate this company 1 star as my experience with them has been absolutely shocking. My parcel was not delivered then arranged to collect it in an allocated time slot. Waited for 40mins to get the parcel and eventually had to leave. They said they would phone me to collect when they found it. A number of hours later they located it, I returned to pick it up and was met with an extremely rude employee who’s customer service was non-existant. After being told that it was fine to me to collect my parcel by the previous employee who checked my ID, this other women told me no way as my ID did not match my address. This is because I have two houses in which I live, my mums and my dads. As far I was aware you can have your parcel delivered to whatever address you like, the ID is to check if the parcel belongs to you. This women was so vile the way she spoke and incredibly unhelpful. I have no yet received my parcel and if it’s being delivered by DPD I doubt I ever will. Absolutely shocking.

I have been waiting for my parcel since Saturday. I have called them 3 times with even the glasgow depot calling me back to say it would be sent back out yesterday but no. Another text saying failed delivery. Even though my numbers been passed on but nothing. Will be phoning back again for the 4th time and they can just send it back to Amazon as ive wasted most of my time off work for a parcel that quite clearly isnt going to be delivered. Truly incredible... I arrange to pick up my parcel form their depot at an agreed time, but when I arrive am told that Id actually be better coming back the following day.I come back the following day, only this time there is nobody at the reception. I press what appears to be the buzzer. It makes no noise and nobody emerges, so I press it again. After about five minutes of intermittent buzzer pressing somebody does emerge, only to say do you wanna have a bit of patience and then promptly disappears again.Okay, so now you are not only 24 hours late in handing over my package, but youre admonishing me for pressing a seemingly silent buzzer more than once.Im waiting another half an hour longer before the receptionist re-appears to actually engage in conversation. By now there is a group of about 8-9 people waiting to be seen as well as me.I dont mind staff being a bit useless, as long as they are making some kind of effort, but in the case of DPDs Cambuslang office the staff appear to hold the public in contempt, and literally go out of their way to be as unhelpful as possible.It could be a while we are all told with no hint of apology or interest. Can we go and come back someones asks. No she is told.Half an hour later somebody finally appears with my package, a mere 25 hours behind schedule... and Im one of the lucky ones. Most others are still unattended. Some poor guy with two young children is still waiting when I leave... hes probably still waiting there now.One star seems generous under the circumstances.

Collection system just keeps spitting out labels dated the next day. Its a next day delivery aim... nobody came to collect my parcel after 2 days. im so frustrated. When you call the call centre theres a message saying not to abuse the staff. feel sorry for them. basically they cant do much but direct you back to the website... i offered to drive the 20 miles to the depot and have it scanned in there, but they couldnt advise if it was possible.

This has been the most useless company Ive ever dealt with. I was at home waiting for the delivery, only to receive a text saying delivery had been attempted but no one was home. This was strange as no one rang the doorbell or knocked. I then attempted to organise collection from the depot, but was automatically redirected to the tracking site time after time. When I went directly to the depot, they were extremely unhelpful and just said they dont know where my package is and cannot find it for me. My only option was rescheduled delivery for which I wont be home!

Poor customer service from DPD UK today. Not delivered on time. No communication to advise of delay. Parcel had been in Birmingham since 2AM this morning. Disappointing. Got two parcels send by DPD from Poland to Glasgow within 1 week, both parcels got lost and delayed and I kept getting notifications that I requested the change of date even though I never did so. 1 parcel was completely distroyed and items were missing, second parcel has not arrived yet. When called to ask politely about my parcel to the Glasgow depot, I heard that it is another workers fault that the parcel has not been delivered and that they cant do anything about it. Never took responsibility for the problems caused, and the lady that was on the phone with me seemed annoyed that Im even calling. Will never use DPD again. Awful experience.

This is the worst courier company ever! I waited in all day for a parcel to be delivered, i paid extra to get delivered and specified which buzzer it was. The driver didnt even attempt to buzz the door. This isnt the first time dpd have done this, I hate having to use them and try to avoid it when possible!

Driver failed to even buzz my flat buzzer but instead immediately said no one was in and left the tracking card OUTSIDE the flat on the street. Called customer services who were amazing to get it redelivered but driver did not appear. Formal Complaint made.

I arranged for my parcel to be picked up from depot on sat morn after a shop they use decided my parcel was to big to take on fri (dewalt battery). Arrived got told i wasnt booked in which it was, waited for 15 mins with 3 different people coming and going with there parcels finally spoke to staff member who asked my name for second time. Decided to leave and go back later went back at 4:30 waited for further twenty mins with no further explanation as to why i wasnt recieving my parcel at this point staff member explains thatthey are looking for my parcel on floor with 1000s of others sounds like a good system to me. I asked is there an alternative way of dealing with situation? Staff member takes mobile number so they can contact me when they have parcel it is now 4 hrs into next working day with no sign of said parcel witch was supposed to get on thurs. Worst experience ever will never buy off I.T.S if this is there chosen delivery company!!!

I never use this courier service since seing lot of bad reviews. What a bad day when I’ve bought a boots from Dr Martens and turns out they use this company for shipping. I know shopping online sometime a bit risk on delivery time (might take longer than standard delivery aim) so I put in mind that the longer might be around 10 days. Until now (it’s been almost 2 weeks) I still did not receive the item. 2 things I cannot accept are 1) they have change the delivery date and claim that i’m the one who’s had change it. 2) They said I can collect at the depot but when I went there to collect, the parcel wasn’t there and it’s still at the driver. This isn’t about the late delivery but is about honesty! Yes delivery might take sometime and that is one of the risk people should know but being lying by them is totally unacceptable! I’ll talk to my lawyer and see if we can do something on this. To DPD, please being honest to your customers. I know millions happy customer out there but some might have the same problem as me.

What a farce.Really needed my delivery for the weekend so paid for next day. Received a text saying would be with me by tomorrow (Friday). Great took the day off work to make sure i didnt miss the delivery. Then i get a text on Friday saying oh sorry but the delivery wont be with you until Monday.AAAHHHHHHHHH!!Phoned the store I purchased from who were adamant it was Interlink at fault,Phoned Interlink and they confirmed It would not be delivered but would speak to the powers that be to see if anything could be done and would get back to me before 4 oclock.Guess what nobody called back. So called a number but got through to a Scottish centre who said this was not good enough and would text me a contact number to sort out. Guess what she never sent anything.Called original number and spoke to the girl i had spoken to earlier who said she would call me before 4. Guess what she denied speaking to me and confirmed no way was i getting the delivery before Monday.My advice STEER WELL CLEAR

This parcel delivery service actually doesnt deliver. I waited for my parcel for 10 days, calling the depot every day where they told me my parcel is on the way. Then they post it back to sender, even if i called them 3 times a day the days before.

Failed to make my guaranteed Saturday delivery, despite my parcel sitting at the depot since 9am Saturday morning. No update today, and I very little faith that I will see my delivery despite being promised that it would arrive today. Absolutely shocking service every time from this depot. Every single time I have an order delivered from DPD its late by hours or even days. My last parcel came from the same company and was supposed to be delivered before 12. That never happened and when I tried to phone it was always just automated. I searched Google for a number for Geopost and contacted them. I then found out that the order had been split into different parcels and were on different vans. I had to wait an additional 5 hours for one order and 6 hours for the other half of the order. DPD never get it right, they are a terrible company. They try to place the blame on the companies I have ordered from. Common denominator is DPD. SHOCKING SERVICE - NEVER GET IT RIGHT!!!

Worst company out parcel was meant to be here today still waiting phoned up and told van broke down. They could have let people know instead off having people waiting in and waiting for them now am being told will be here tonight at some point but now looks as though van broke down again at not moving on the tracker thing

We went out of our way to advise them where to deliver the parcel. They ignored this totally and delivered it elsewhere!(Sorry, i accidentally clicked over the thumbs up. Oops)

Unable to contact carrier all numbers automated. Asked to deliver to any neighbour and they left a card saying my neighbour was not in . Rubbish I have 15 neighbours in my close.

A little slow trying to collect my parcel but the lady who I spoke to was very pleasant and well mannered.

Order meantvto be delivered and has never arrived. No time slot notification when it would be delivered and no delivery notification. Not a happy customer!

I go to depot to collect my package as the website made mistake sending to my previous address where I stay 4years ago. The depot server looks just woke up, and refuse to give me package after I give her my driving license and my phone shows order number and all proof. As she said I have to give her my 4 years ago address certification, I was a student and living in Uni apartment, where can I find ‘the certification’? So she send my parcel back, and make all my work going to be late. Very nice job, dpd, and yours damn sleepy server!

How can you deliver a parcel the size of half a body to the wrong address, and the wrong name? It says the name and the house number on the sticker, what is so difficult? This is unacceptable and it’s not the first I’ve heard of others in my circle having bad experiences with DPD. From Glasgow to Stirling - shouldn’t be so difficult to read a label. A “D” is quite different from a “0” I think - and so is the name Nathalie from Martina. What is going on, honestly?

Sitting at home, nobody came to the door, they left a card saying nobody was in. Now its been taken to the other side of Glasgow for me to pick up, pathetic service.

Useless service.. lieing all the time I am waiting from 2 days to just get the message no one was at home. I am at home all the time and no one even ring the bell. Everytime you call they give excuses and reschedule for next day. Never choose this service. Dont even deserve 0 star.

Waited all night for my slotted time for nothing too arrive no contact too let me know what was happening had too track it myself through a link to be told it would be with me asap as the driver was behind then it at half past 10 at night updated to its been delivered too your local warehouse absolute shocking service will be avoiding at all costs.

Didnt ring the bell. Left a card. We were in the kitchen and actually heard the footsteps on the path. Cant get through to DPD to complain and get the van back.

Rubbish entrance, dont really feel welcome in the reception, staff is good though - must be a hellish place to work. Unwelcome and cold place to be

Even one star is too much for these wankers. I have sent my laptop to repairment and after one week repariment, I have been kept telling that i would be delivered but nothing works. their customer service is useless. there is no way that they are doing something to help. total wankers. DO NOT USE THEIR DELIVERY. waste of time and the money.
