Nice devotional location. This historical template inside the forest. Tamil Adi month will filled with peoples. You cannot go by car because of heavy traffic. Two route are there but you cannot travel via Perungapoor junction. You have travel via Melachery location.

This place is located at a distance of 5 km from Gingee fort. Here is the way to go for two wheeler, auto, car. It is better to go during the day as it is a forest trail.

I used to go every year, it is in center of the forest so it was in Forest department cantonment, tats why government unable to lay a proper road. You can find different varieties of snakes and birds. and more monkeys and mongoose.In this temple, on Tamil Adi month you unable to reach thru cars, due to traffic they cut the vehicles in 5 KM before.You can reach safely only by Melacherry road but on rainy season you cant use that road.

Ithalam is located in the middle of the Siruvadi forest near Ginger. The scenery around the temple is a bit of a green mosaic. There is a large pond at the back of the temple. Devotees flock to this temple every year in the month of August to receive the blessings of the Goddess.
