Floating bridge is a unique thinking of Ghatal. It is also called Vasapole.This pole is made by only Wood and rope and its based on boats.This is an important bridge of connecting people across the river.Everyday many people travel frequently over this.When water flows in the river, it is lifted through rope.And when it is flooded and there are lots of races in the river, this bridge is opened.Very fun and unique bridge only found in Ghatal.
