Overall a big library. Ample space and big tables. Which is not like a small cubic provided by private library. Lifetime fee is just 20rs. Lack of maintenance and space to sit is why I give 3 stars. Social distancing is zero. And majority does not wear a mask. And no one monitors this. Library opens at 8.00 but there a long queue from 7.00.Edit. Changing from 3 to 1 star. They do not allow to sit with half pants. Lol. Pathetic government organisationas ever.

Perfect place for reading during exams.Amazed by seeing many students reading and theres pin-drop silence. Generally crowded. Hard to find seat after 8.00 AM. But you can find seat easily after 12.30 PM.Chairs and tables are comfortable. Government is really doing great.Toilet facility/cleanliness needed to be improved.

Best Study Library In Gandhinagar. Girls And Boys Have Saparate Reading Rooms , And all type of newspaper available like, Gujarati, Hindi, English etc.

The State Central Library is located at near townhall, Sector - 17 in Pease full atmosphere.All Students and Candidates are come here for preparation for their exams. At ground floor Daily News papers and magazines are available for all citizens. Nice seating arrangement for all readers. At first floor all types of Novel books in Gujarati, hindi and English language. Office of the Director of State Library also @second floor. In real this is nice and peaceful place of Gandhinagar city.

Nice place to study. Silent Please. To be honest I was surprised to see that still many youngsters use public libraries to study. Really this kind of library must be their in each and every district of India in order motivates the young generation. This is public (government-run) library. there is vast collections of books on many subjects and in languages like Gujarati, English and Hindi. There is ample space for reading. Many newspapers and magazines are also subscribed by the library for benefit of library members. Library fee is very very nominal.

This place could have been a great place to study and enjoy the reading if it is maintained properly. The staff is hardly interested in arranging the books on the shelves as a result one has to struggle to get the book.The toilets are stinking and nobody is bothered.No comfortable seating place.It is a pity that such a great resource is getting wasted and only wish that the respective education authority at the Sachivalaya pays a surprise visit to ge the actual picture and improve it drastically.

It is one of the largest library in and around gandhinagar. There is huge collection of book related to all topic. Here u find all three major language book ENGLISH, HINDI , GUJARATI .There is a big hall for the study purpose and many people come for study. Here the atmosphere is also silent and u are one how want to study than u will be here.

Library is good but they are not allowed without library I card. For make library I card you have to make stamp and all that now if we are not residence person then what should we do? its not good rule i can say. Its public library.

Thare are problem in issuing book...if there any book is missing staf will use ur id for that and ask for money there are not providing any security code with id so anyone in staf can issue any book with your id.
