Current state of this place is Average. I prefer not to go in Rainy Season because the Land area is too low. Be Careful about parking lot.Basically people who are curious about Mutton might have good bargaining and selection skill.I would say If you are planning to go there, make your own arrangements of Sitting, Eating and Drinking, otherwise you are going to pay for all those things, which will cost around ₹1000. They Charge for sitting so be careful.Bring your own Raw material such as Onion, Flour and Spices.Cooking of mutton is different on several camps (100 to 150 to 200 per Kg). Try to be a good bargainer.Too much Crowd.

Very intresting place..kind of picnic spot for every age group.. old people can enjoy the worship.. younger one and kids can enjoy hamdi mutton and litti here..If you dont eat handi mutton and litti here, your trip ia incomplete..Dhaba are their to eat , also you can give raw items they will cook for you..

Tarkulaha Devi Temple is one of the Holiest temple near Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh. It is amazing to see that here goat meat is offered to Maa Tarkulaha and that meat is taken as the Maha prasada of Devi. It is believed that in 1857 there was a freedom fighter name Babu Bandhu Singh who use to do prayer of Maa Near a tree called Tarkula by making Pindi of Devi . It is believed that when Babu Bandhu Singh was caught by britishers then he was given for hang till death but six time the knot was opened by itself after that Babu Bandhu Singh himself requested Maa to let him die for his country and then in seventh time he was hang till death.
