We were waiting for 20 minutes in full sun, my wife almost said no ! this place is something different from what you expecting, it’s a good time spent as we already got tired from churches, cathedrals and other ancient stuff ! there is literally one room with full shoes collection, i can’t tell you what’s in other ones but i recommend it 100% ! big wow !

Amazing experience… great for photo ops and any fans of Gucci. Definitely recommend to mix it up after a day of museums & galleries. Also, there’s a student discount for students of Amy country. Regular ticket price is $8, with discount it’s $5.LADIES TAKE NOTE! There’s currently a mirror room that you might want to avoid with skirts/dresses as the floor is also mirrors… a little awkward with a security guard & other guests standing right there 😬

I was in Gucci Heaven at Gucci Garden. I enjoyed the decor and feel of the boutique. There were separate rooms featuring merchandise all specifically made for the Florence location. I loved that I was getting a special item that could only be purchased at this boutique. The staff were very friendly, especially Paul, who helped me decide on a gorgeous red (my favorite color) wallet with a bat featured. He also took time to handwrite a thank you note stating Happy Birthday to me as well. I will definitely shop there again as well as take time to visit the museum and restaurant.

Interesting to do out of the norm, as with the italians they start to curate whats considered art as with fashion. 8 euro fee with a small cinema hall that kinda tries too hard to be artistic. most stuff curated are vintage along with some original sketches. Refer photos to judge yourself

Keep your eyes open or you might just miss this hidden gem! The Gucci Garden is a museum about Gucci and it’s fashion throughout the ages. Entry is free for students with their ID. The exhibits are spectacular and there is so much to see. They were very well put together and are filled with unique design and colors. If you have time be sure to check it out. There is even a boutique to purchase one of a kind Gucci items which may not be in the typical stores.

Entry is 8€ but no one really checked the tickets. The items on display were gorgeous altough a lot of were from 2017-2018 collections, the older ones from 1950-1970. I went before lunch and there were just a few visitiors. Not a huge Gucci or fashion fan but it was nice to see how the trends changed over the years. Do not expect wow effect if youre not into fashion design :)

It was truly a unique experience and all of the memorabilia was very beautiful, as to be expected. It’s best to go early in the morning and shortly before closing to avoid crowds. However I was slightly disappointed as I expected their to be more about the history of Gucci and just more on display in general. The first floor is largely devoted the sales floor and I think in total there are maybe 8 midsize rooms that have displays in them. But for fashionphiles alike it is a beautiful exhibit.

Great experience. There is a Gucci store at the ground floor and a Gucci museum on upper floors. Store itself sells certain items that are unique and only available there. Museum is of a decent size and features large collection of items throughout the history including a dress made for and worn by Björk in her music video, called The Gate. There is several artistic and hi -tec installations. Staff in multilingual (I observed English, Chinese, French) kind and helpful. Tickets are inexpensive and admission for students is free. There is also small restaurant there serving fine food. I highly recommend.

The lunch was astonishing. Because the restaurant has so few seats the staff are always available assuring you need not wait for anything. The food was amazing, most notably the Caesar salad. I know, it sounds silly, a salad. The salad was prepared as a single head of lettuce displayed like a flower. The dressing was injected under the leaves assuring every bite had the perfect amount.Make reservations! I noticed a dozen people turned away as they were not accepting walk-ins.

The staff were very nice and informative Ive never really been a fan of Gucci but this place is different than typical Gucci shops. The art was amazing! It was nothing like the generic Gucci I normally see in London and it was clear that this store wanted to show a more conscious side and show more depth of their brand. I felt very welecomed and honestly made me appericate what goes on in designer brands. There were also clothing there that can only be bought from this specific store. If your a big fan of Gucci and their fashion you must go here or you havent seen it all! Also show your student card from any country and gain entry for FREE!

Okay, so I was traveling alone on business to Florence, Italy and looking for food. My colleagues at work told me: You have to go to the Gucci Museum Cafe!  I must admit, at first I was really skeptical. The notion of Gucci -- the fine leather good maker -- having a cafe? And, its attached to a museum!?  I thought: It must be a tourist trap! Its going to be more cafeteria than cafe!  In any event, when in Florence, do as the Florentine do! The decor was obviously fancy but not pretentious, and -- surprise -- it was all Gucci down to the dinnerware and table linens! The food (of course, pasta) and service were excellent! Turns out the maker of fine leather goods can do fine dining as well!#guccimuseumcafe #firenze

A must go for anyone in Florence with an interest in fashion and some spare time. It’s so interesting to see how they have laid out the museum and incorporated different mediums. There’s a video room, some light and dark artwork on the first and second floor as well as showcasing all the different Gucci items throughout the years. One thing we realised was it’s less about the history of Gucci, but more the individual pieces they have chosen to showcase, most of them by their current creative director (Alessandra Michele). A really interesting place to go overall

It’s a must visit if you’re a fanatic of the Gucci brand. But I was hoping with 8€ / person, there would be more on display or items that were very unique and not mostly from recent collections of 2017/2018. A dive into the story of the Gucci history would be nice but it’s not offered here. Left feeling like the “museum” was an advertisement for their Gucci Garden collection available to purchase downstairs.

Gucci Gaeden is many things at the same time. First, it is a Gucci Boutique where you will find exclusive Items only found there. If you are a fan of the brand and can afford the high price, this is a great place to find very unique Gucci items from clothing to home decor. It also has an amazing collection of books and publications that will inspire your creative curiosity and will give you a better understanding of the brand’s ethos. The place also houses a small gallery that changes every 6 months where you will be able to take a closer look at the items that made and still make the brand so iconic and influential. I strongly recommend you visit Gucci Garden.

Overpriced ticket to what is essentially a large advertisement for Gucci’s later collections. Did not even have a mention of Tom Ford’s iconic velvet suits from the 1990s. I think going in I had higher expectations but the experience was not terrible. It is decently priced and has something worth seeing if you are interested in vintage luxury fashion and the history of Gucci in general. The cafe was super cute and unique. The aesthetic of the cafe was what pleased me the most. I ordered a basic overpriced cappuccino that came with a Gucci logo sugar cube. The cappuccino was like any other you could order in Italy but its the fact that its in Gucci that sets the experience apart.

Anyone with an interest in fashion should visit this museum. At 7 euros pp (5 euros on Friday evenings after 8 pm), its a bargain for the sheer amount of pieces and information. It is comprised of 3 modern floors, plus a store and cafe. The pieces are tastefully exhibited, with soft lighting, black backdrops and vintage illustrations. There are rooms full of bags, luggage, home decor, and clothing, ranging from the 1950s to the 2000s. There is a small theatre where you can watch video clips of classic films that were restored with Guccis financial support. There is a room with recent runway creations, as well as another featuring a handful of celebrity gowns. Photographs are permitted throughout, and many of the exhibits are not behind glass (note that a mild alarm will sound if you accidentally get too close).

She went the extra mile adding a fond memory of the museum to our honeymoon. Great pieces to look at and information about the history of Gucci. We came back to buy a gift for a friend and received great info from a knowledgeable staff member (whose name we did not get). The gift was beatifully wrapped. When we went to check the gifts before leaving for the airport, we noticed that the paper product we purchased was creased at both corners, damaging the cover and first view pages of the note book. The side of the front cover was also frayed along the edge; I would recommend opening the bags before leaving the store to check your items. We unfortunately did not have time to go back to exchange before leaving the country.
