Hammam and massage were amazing
Very beautiful place
Beautiful place with a wonderful spa. Had the most relaxing hammam and massage here. Would definitely recommend. The staff are so friendly and welcoming!
Most incredible place I’ve ever been to. Went for a massage and they gave my friends and I delicious free mint tea and let us hang out in their gorgeous outdoor spaces. Wonderful people wonderful place!!
This was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever experienced. We started with the black soap and body scrub in the traditional steam room that left our skin feeling insanely soft! We then progressed into the essential oil massage which left us in a mesmerized state afterwards. We literally walked around the rest of the day with a smile on our faces and our bodies feeling like Jello. Apparently this place is famous amongst the community so it’s reputation definitely precedes it!
Such a wonderful place. Each time we came back to the hotel was like stepping into paradise. The courtyard is so relaxing with birds singing in the orange trees and the lovely mint tea and cookies they bring you. The Riad is beautifully restored and the people who run the place are warm and friendly. We stayed in the red room on the second floor with a huge bathroom and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was great- I cannot eat wheat and they made eggs for me. The pool was also lovely. It is in a great area right next to shops and restaurants but tucked away from any noise.
Absolutely loved Riad Laaroussa! Came here for a hammam one day with my friend and it was an incredible experience. We loved it so much that we booked our last night in Fez here! Karim was the nicest and most helpful person. He made our stay here so worth it and we would absolutely love to come back! They greet you with fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade cookies which is also a really nice touch!
Came here for a Hammam + MassageNot only was the service amazing they mailed me my watch ... Twice!!I forgot my watch at the Riad. I contacted them. They mailed it to me in London. When it was returned back to them due to my error, they mailed it back to me again!10 out of 10 would recommend.
Amazing riad, picture perfect lawn. I waited inside this riad while my wife had her amazing hammam experience.
This place is spectacular! We stayed here for 3 nights & enjoyed every minute of it. The Riad is very clean, quite, and the staff if amazing. Its a great location, close enough to the outer limits of the souk that you wont get lost getting to a taxi (because you have to leave the souk to get a car/taxi). But its also close to the main street in the souk for shopping. They were accommodating to us being vegetarians and the food was great, all the meals were great. We traveled with my son who was 1.5 years old at the time and they would make him special meals and play with him while my husband & I enjoyed our dinner!! We stayed in the Blue room, plenty of space for the 3 of us & all our luggage.
Wow - what an amazing place to stay. Good food. Large clean room. Incredible style. Old world charm with modern amenities.
Great place , I always recommend it to my clients , either for a stay or for the spa riad laaroussa is among top 10 luxury hotels in Fez
The Riad garden is beautiful with friendly staff. The Hamman associated with the hotel is worth a visit. We scheduled an appointment and spent several hours in the steam, getting scrubbed and then massaged. My wife and I enjoyed this bit of pampering that had our skin glowing.
This is for the spa. Setting is undeniably beautiful. Hamam was nice. Steam room was relaxing and scrub down was good. The experience felt a bit rushed overall. The fruit had been picked over by previous people and all the nuts had been removed, hinting that the bowl is left out all day for all guests to touch. Overall Id suggest just to get the Hammam and not the massage. Lovely restoration and people. Just lacking the dedication of the craft of massage. The massage was a rub down and not a massage
We (husband and three small children) absolutely loved our stay at Riad Laaroussa. The staff was unfailingly warm and accommodating. The location and the building itself—sanctuary-like, beautiful courtyard and amazing rooftop breakfast/lounge/bar, lovely little pool—could not have been better. We highly recommend this place for a stay in Fez.
My husband and I came here while on vacation with our 2-year-old daughter. This has to be our favorite accommodation, EVER! Beautifully appointed with every detail, extremely comfy beds, and delicious meals. The staff met us in the parking lot where we were dropped off, carried our luggage in for us so we wouldn’t get lost, arranged a private guide for us, and were simply so warm, kind, and helpful. Our baby is doubtfully their typical patron, yet they provided a pack n play and were very sweet with her, especially Betina from the kitchen (whose name I am likely writing incorrectly). Omar was the driver who provided transportation from the hotel to our rental car, and he was even kind enough to make a pit stop on the way to buy diapers for the baby. Honestly, this riad is stunning and provided a refuge from the hustle and bustle of our vacation in Morocco, making it a highlight of our time in this country. We recommend them 100%, as they are the epitome of hospitality.
RL is an amazing and lovely place where you can feel relaxed and cherished. I just love and adore being there. Great job guys.
My wife and I stayed here in November 2016, and our stay was magical. The service was exceptional...every single staff member was always eager to assist in any way. They set us up with an amazing tour guide who gave us an exceptional tour of the riad and helped us find the right place purchase rugs, leather jacket, and more. The massage was amazing. The food at dinner and the breakfast on the roof were both delicious and atmosphere and view amazing. The new pool was so refreshing. Also, the two lazy labs that are the house dogs made us feel so at home. We will definitely stay here again if/when we make it back to Morocco.
Beautiful, comfortable Riad in an excellent location. 5 star staff and amenities. Clean, well-maintained property. Beautiful pool.
Super spacious room, wonderfully friendly staff, best dinner I think I have ever eaten, and nice poolside area. An oasis of calm in a busy medina.
We stayed at the cream suite. They were prompt at our complaint and ver attending. Really nice place and beautiful terrace. The terrace was the best part of Fez.
Eating dinner on the patio was magical. The food versus price value calculation missed the mark a bit. It was nice that they had drinks as an option. The hotel facilities looked very first class, but we didnt stay overnight.
A fantastic place!I took a massage & hammam and it was incredible.People is so welcoming there. I truly enjoyed.Thank you for the mint tea.
A paradise. This is all what i can say about this place.
We came for the spa hamman and beer&wine. The staff was very welcoming. The hamman experience was excellent and the staff are very friendly. We wanted to order food but I believe that only sandwiches are available to non-hotel guests (it was very good though) Definitely would recommend this place for the spa experience hamman and drinks, but if you are not the guest you need to go to another restaurant riad. The area is safer than other places in the Medina.
Very nice place with some cosy fireplaces. Unluckily for us, we went to Marokko during the most coldest time in years and the Riad was not meant to withhold such constraints : we were cold the whole of our stay as the rooms did not have proper isolation and heating, which is by the way expected in a land of (usually) hot weather...
Fabulous place, rooms, service, hamam, people. Romantic, amazing and authentic Moroccan experience.
Beautiful Riad. Wonderful and very hospitable staff. We got dinner here last minute on two nights. The riad itself is beautiful with several fireplaces all around and a stunning rooftop and pool. The room was very clean, with a safe, rose perfume, several towels, and a comfy bed If only I stayed in Fes one more day to enjoy the facilities more.
Wow, this place does customer service as well as the Germans make cars. Its like a well oiled machine designed around you. Sure its expensive, and the hammam isnt that steamy (lost a star on that), but every other Riad should be taking tips from these guys.
Dont judge a book by its cover. From the street this place looks like a big old door but once you enter its astoundingly beautiful. The center court yard is just so big and yet so peaceful with trees and fountains. I came here for the message in there steam rooms ..... its not bad I guess, it was my first time so not sure what I was getting my self into. If you are passing by and want to get rubbed down hard with a abrasive mitt its worth a try. For me it was just okay compared to other countries message technics. This is also a hotel and if you can afford it its worth a stay just to be in this place.
AMAZING hammam experience. My husband had just battled food poisoning from the night before, and they were so accommodating, offeroof us water, bananas, etc. Badia and team were truly welcoming and the service is wonderful. Would absolutely come back the next time.
Riad Laaroussa was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco, and ranks as one of my personal all-time favorite boutique accommodations.Location: The riad boasts a convenient central location, and we loved the accessibility of popping in and out to take breaks during our shopping in the medina.Staff: The staff was warm and went above-and-beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, from providing maps and specific store recommendations, to finding a converter that fit my needs (including the owner running home!), and helping finalize travel plans to the next city.Accommodations: The rooms are each unique and boast beautiful local furnishings and original tile. We loved that multitude of common seating areas (courtyard, between rooms, pool, rooftop), and baby grand piano to play too. The only thing that I would change would be the bed, which we found to be quite hard.Food: The breakfasts were excellent and the rooftop dinner was a highlight of the trip with prayer calls happening around us and a delicious pastilla (best of our trip)
Stayed here for 1 night and wish I had extended my stay in Fes. An amazing city, a little bit more laid back than Marrakesh.Riad Laaroussa was the best Riad I stayed in during my 3 week trip to Morocco. The service, ambiance, food, and hospitality was 5+ stars. I have a friend coming to Fes in a few months and recommended the Riad to her and her family. The rooms are beautiful and have a modern bohemian feel. We received complimentary babouches and robes in our room. Amazing service and hope to visit again soon.Thank you for an amazing stay!
My girlfriend and I travelled to Fes, Chefchaouen, Rabat, Agafay Desert and Marrakech and this was by far the best riad. It was huge with lots of space to relax and enjoy the sun or just sit by the pool. The breakfast was great and we had dinner the final night which was suberb. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone staying in Fes!
Best experience ever in fes so nice and comfy and beautiful
Beautiful riad
Beautiful family style home opened to guests
The most memorable thing about Morocco and about Fes is how warm and friendly the people are. This was as true at Riad Laaroussa as was everywhere else. The owners Cathy and Fred and their staff went out of their way to take care of their guests every need - everything from arranging guides and booking restaurants to ensuring we had meds and a place to stay on after we ended up a little unwell.Riad Laarousa is a gorgeous and small boutique hotel of just 8 rooms in the middle of the old medina. We stayed in the Orange Room and then in the Green Suite and they are both quite large and very artfully decorated. From the terrace, there are gorgeous views not just of the medina itself but also the hill sides - its a perfect place to watch the sun set over the city at dinner - joined perhaps by the two very adorable (and calm) labs that also call the riad home. The meals at the riad itself are traditional and delicious - and if you like, they also have informal classes where you can also try you hand at cooking a traditional tajine (although this is not something I tried). The riad also has a small hammam and massage. One thing that especially struck us is the owners love and commitment to Fes. The childrens library just outside the riad that they started is the first in the medina and is just one of the projects theyve started to help have a positive impact on the lives of people in their community. They made us feel so at home that it felt less like a stay at a hotel and more like a home away from home. Fes is genuinely wonderful but this hotel and its owners are a big part of the reason we feel like coming back to Fes.
Awesome service by awesome staff!!!
Absolutely authentic luxury
Love this place , will definitely come back again!!!!!!!
Verry good
St
A magnificently restored place, respecting traditional and ancestral methods. A few small touches of modernity highlight the whole. But beyond the place, there is an atmosphere, a soul that emanates from this Ryad. Owners with huge hearts, attentive employees (malek, first and foremost, who runs everywhere for your own well-being). In short, a dream stay in a place out of time
My mother and I were very well received. The staff and owners were very attentive. We were well hosted. The garden and the pool are very relaxing. I whole-heartedly recommend!
We did not sleep here, but did the hammam. It took about an hour and cost 35 per person. Very nice experience, it was private and so we received a lot of personal attention. The employees are very nice, the host has told us everything about the riad. We felt very welcome. Furthermore, the riad is beautiful.
A paradise in the mecca of the Medina, very well-kept rooms and what a pleasure to be almost culinary spoiled here a la Française. Also nice wines and charming service. The upper terrace is the place to be. You no longer need to search, save your energy!
We went there for a massage. Very disappointed it was nothing more, the masseuse did not press at all for the massage it was more like an application of oil on the body, relaxing moment but too expensive for the service performed.
Great Hammam ... Friendly and pleasant. Absolutely the reservation is a must. They are always full. From advantage also and garden room with fireplace before and after the washing
A very high quality establishment. Decoration sought. Very fine restoration. A very warm staff. A daily involvement of the management. I highly recommend this place.
Magnificent raid restore and manage by thierry. A Frenchman passionate about Morocco. For some time you will enjoy it with a pool
Very beautiful riadThe bistro on the terrace offers really nice meals
Great Riad relaxing environment I stayed in this establishment years ago. I have recently returned to the same caring atmosphere
Fabulous . We had the green suite that overlooks the RC of the inner courtyard. Probably the most beautiful Riad with its 2 gigantic glass doors and fireplace. Authentic character. In addition 2 nice labradors dogs who welcome us ....We had 3 meals on site. It was excellent . The evening meal was one of the best we had in Morocco. Go there without hesitation and ask for the green suite :))
I had to stay once at the Riad and I loved it, nothing to say about home and comfort and cuisine
Simple and warm welcome, felted and refined atmosphere, team as smiling as effective, cuisine with many Moroccan flavors, Riad very well located in the medina
Good place but poor service
Perfect riad throughout .... tasteful design very large and well furnished rooms! fantastic staff and food !!
We only went for the spa but the place and the patio are sublime. A real haven of peace in the middle of the medina, with trees and fountains, it feels like cut off from the world.
I tried the hammam and massage with my husband, it was good but no more .. we were disappointed because it was excessively expensive compared to the amount of the benefit. knowing that the gummy c masseuses (it was not what was announced normally cd professionals who should have massaged us) I expected better seen the comments that I read ... That said the place is charming and tea after steam room was nice.
Superb home, riad beautiful and relaxing, perfect for us.
A very pleasant and relaxing riad. Very nice atmosphere and attentive people.
One thousand and One Nights
Nice riad in ideal location
My favorite riad! Thank you to guide Rachid for making me know!
Un ryad
Magical. Fairy. Unique.
We only exceptionally return to the same establishments. Just because there is a choice and we prefer to discover new places each time. And yet, for our 2nd visit to Fez, we could not have not come back to Riad Laaroussa. Already, it is a very beautiful riad, located in the best location of the medina and especially thanks to its endearing staff. It feels good right away. And for this 2nd visit, the establishment has grown and now has a magnificent, and yet simple, swimming pool in a green setting and old stones. Welcoming deckchairs, a nice little bar and the tranquility in the heart of the medina make this new place a great place to relax. The patio has also received some tasteful transformations. The meals, which you can take wherever you want, are always just as good. The breakfast is royal and according to your preferences. This large, but nonetheless very intimate, riad has several terraces, so plenty of room and beautiful views over the city. The rooms and suites are of course comfortable and superbly decorated.
A beautiful chotel
Not bad
A paradise on earth
