Great advise and always willing to answer my questions. They have a nice way with the computer literate and semi-literate.

Inquired about replacing a cell phone battery for iPhone. It costs $65 + tax total to do it at the apple store and they complete it within 1-2 hours onsite. Since we live closer to Fergus I thought I would try to get pricing from this authorized service provider instead of driving to the Apple store in Waterloo, I called to see how much they charge. The technician advised me it is $135 + tax to replace and they need to keep it for 2-3 days! They said the battery is $65 dollars and then they charge for 1 hour of labour. I said why do you need to keep it for 3 days if it is only a 1-hour job and he said it takes a lot longer than 1 hour. No, it doesnt.. I have had it replaced by apple before. A big rip off. Save yourself the money and make the trip to the apple store in order not to get financially taken for. Would not recommend unless you enjoy overpaying for services.

They diagnosed my Macbook Pro as having a logic board issue and said they cant fix it because Apple doesnt carry that part as my Mac book Pro was too old. I asked if there were any options they said no its scrap, charged me for the examining it. I took my Macbook Pro for a second opinion else where and within a week the other business not only got my macbook working but got the part from Apple and only charged me for the part.Needless to say I was not satisfied and wont be back.

During covid curbside pickup works awesome. Dropped off tower fixed and reinstalled windows in a day during pickup only 1 person in store and it was cold out so that was only downside.

Great service

This has been a week in which our society is trying to adjust and cope with the reality of social distancing. Many businesses have had to close. I needed a new ink cartridge and called Planet CPU. A friendly voice answered and said yes he could leave it outside the store. I casually mentioned that I was trying to print out a document when I realized that the ink had gone dry. Mark immediately offered to print off the document AND deliver it to my porch after work.....no charge.How wonderful was that offer!!! It is merchants like this that make our community such a lovely place to live. Let us support them, when we can. These are the very business people we want and need. Thank you Mark.

Bought a refurbished PC there. Couple weeks after their 30 day warranty expired, it wouldnt power up...oh well, at least i didnt have time to lose any important data. Wont be going back.

Planet CPU is a very reliable company with knowledgeable staff.

I purchased a new laptop from Planet CPU and had Mark and the guys transfer all my data and programs over which typically in the past, I have had issues but it went perfect this time! Turn around was only a few hours and I highly recommend Plant CPU!!!

Do not trust this store! Tried to charge me for my phone that was covered under apple warranty.They told me that they charge ALL of their customers for this service as Apple charges them!Called Apple and this was not true, they were not billed anything for my phone they lied!!! Both an employee and manager played stupid not knowing the apple care warranty coverage. How many customers have they taken advantage of???? Go to an Apple Store for any Apple related issues!
