This is a authentic Bihari cuisine restaurant, they prepare mutton, chicken and other veg dishes too in earthen pots & serve in these pots only.We have tried this matka mutton and it was delicious . Chicken was overcooked and was less spicy as compared to mutton.Mutter paneer was average , next time we will try their Biryani too.One Can try once as it is different from regular available north Indian nonveg dishes.

Looking for a meal that would brighten our humdrum day, we chanced upon Champaran001 and we did not make a mistake. We ordered the iconic Littis along with the Handi Mutton, Handi Chicken Biryani and the Handi Dal Fry. The littis were pure bombs of delight. Stuffed and baked well, they were not heavy unlike the others we have tasted. And, the Chokha that came with the littis was great though we would have preferred a bit more of chillies. As for the signature Handi Mutton -- a speciality of Champaran -- well, Mr R P Singh has mastered the art and what he serves is pure extacy. The spicy conconction is flavourful and the meat falls off the bone. A perfect accompaniment to the Littis. The Chicken Biryani in the handi was good -- the handi made the difference. There was a slight hint of a smoky flavour. The dal too was good. But what amazed us was Mr R P Singhs love for the environment. He sent us leaf plates and more. The food was indeed lovely!

If you want to eat best chicken and egg curry you should visit champaran.
