15k for a room with shared bathroom. Very nice lady owner. Hot water and green tea for free. For meals plenty of restaurants nearby.

Not so bad

I wouldnt recommend this place, there are better in town for the same price. We stayed at Holy for 1 night for 20,000mmk; the walls are paper-thin and you can hear everyone else walking around, light streams through from the neighbouring rooms and the beds are very hard. For our 2nd night in Falam we went up the road stayed somewhere else for the same price - it was the same kind of basic guesthouse, but just much much nicer. The other place is not on google maps but it is next to Family Guesthouse (which also looks nice but was full).Another thing to note - Falams Baptist Church plays prayers and Christian rock at 5.30-6.30am. This can be heard across the town, however, the speakers are attached to Holy Guesthouse.

Nice and cheap guest house

My room was a bed, an outlet and a light. But the lady who runs it is hilarious even though she hasnt got a word of English.

I guess the only option in Falam, is a good option. The rooms are simple, the shared bathroom ok (not real warm water, so be happy with lukewarm) and tea is available. The owner seemed a bit grumpy and ignores questions she does not want to answer, mumbling to herself about how difficult it is to host foreigners, but if youre nice to her, she eventually is a notch nicer too.

Clean guest house. Very basic shared bathrooms. Friendly owner.

The prices is affordable but you wont get meal there.

Rooms are very small.
