Nomad Camp is the getaway you need. We had a wonderful birthday celebration with a couple of days stay in the property. It was an absolute delight. The camps are super comfortable, pet friendly and hospitality is commendable. Would recommend this place a hundred percent. Cheers :)

1. Stay is quite comfortable specially during this covid pandemic. You are secluded from rest of the world on a hill top.2. The staffs were very good and cooperating, the food were amazing. You can order whatever you wanna have.3. The ambiance is very good specially the place where you can lit up the bonfire.Few suggestions would be:1. The staff can be trained better like the ones which we have in good star hotels. They are good but at times needs reminder.2. The cleanliness can be improved more at the camp site. At times the used utensils remained unattended for whole day until you remind the staff.3. Being at the top of the hill and in a tent, i could find spiders, insects loitering around and inside the tent bed room. If measures could be taken to avoid these things.Afterall it was a very very good stay. Good hospitality, good food, good vibes and homely feeling.

Camp Nomad is great place to visit and stay. Located on a hilltop in Fagu, has a panoramic view of the snow capped peaks of the Himalayan range. With a pristine environment, surrounded by Apple orchards it is a fantastic location. The Tents have an attached bathroom, are beautifully furnished and comfortable to stay in. We were treated to an authentic Himachali lunch. The preparation was awesome. There are a number trails to walk around which take you through apple orchards and small villages. The personal touch of Amit and his team made our trip a great experience and we will definitely visit again with family and friends. It is a great place to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of cities with bright blue skies and so close to nature. Admiral Sunil Lanba

This is a wonderful weekend getaway.If you are traveling to Shimla, looking for some unique experiences and a warm welcome by the hosts and workers, this is a must visit.They have tried to keep it as natural as it could be possible under the word glamping.Moreover they also host some cultural and creative events at this place, so do give them a call to know more about your stay.Camp Nomad is just 30-40 min drive from Shimlas crowd.

Avoid this place.They need to get their act right.Stayed there from 2nd to 4th April 2021.The only good things - well natured and sweet staff (3 individuals), the cute pahadi puppies, the view And the hot water in the wash basin.The place is otherwise filthy - kitchen, tents and bathrooms. I have videos to show that the used dishes and food from the previous night are never cleared till at least 9 am the next morning from the dining tables, the kitchen, anywhere where it was left after the previous nights drunken revelry. Stayed there 2 nights, and it was the same on both occasions.Dont ever enter the kitchen - you will not eat there.The people that run it, are around only after 11 am while ideally they should be there to shut down (after cleaning) and open the place in the morning, in time for tea or breakfast at least. While they do say that they are trying to get things sorted, their actions do not match their words. If they are trying to get it going, they need to be in the details about everything.Food is minimal (chicken, paneer, dal, rice, thick raw rotis) and the snacks with tea - can just be seen, barely enough to go around.It doesnt represent any particular cuisine nor tastes of anything and even when I requested for something local, the owner almost brushed it off and never got back to me about whether its possible or not. But when I spoke to the cook directly he made me something local, just like that.So literally no thought put into anything.The staff has not been trained at all. I dont think the owners realise what training should look like.There is absolutely no consistency.I. Paid at least double of what I would have paid for a much more comfortable hotel room, with food and a good clean bed to sleep on.The view would have been a 100ft lower, but thats ok.The tents are large, but very drafty, untidy and seem unhygienic as it wasnt neat and clean. Emptied a can of disinfectant before I even touched anything ( Covid days after all). Bathroom platform and tent exit were totally off. It was seriously like a half constructed house.I hope the owners do not take it out on the staff when they read this.They need to look within. They have invested a lot, but they dont seem to have a clue about how to run it.Also its quite weird when the owner keeps asking all couples visiting them, what their relationship status is. Quite intrusive. He asked me and at least another couple in front of me. Weird.Definitely not the Glamping experience I expected it to be. Just about basic camping.Try it at your own risk.For their sake, I hope they are able to turn it around, but it will take a lot.... A lot.

Camp Nomad is a perfect place for a weekend getaway, to have some quality time. The camp site at the top of Fagu gives a heart warming 360 degree view. Their Himachali cuisine was the main highlight for us. With the perfect blend of great hospitality and view, this place is highly recommended.

Everything about this place was great! Special points to cleanliness and the himachali thali served at dinner. Attention to details regarding the tidiness, the sumptuous dinner spread, evening program, tea while watching the sunset at the hill was exemplary. One of the most beautiful and well maintained camps I have stayed in. Nestled in Fagu, near shimla this place offers a picturesque view of the valley and great hospitality. The tents are beautiful and well maintained, the boys are humble and cook amazing local food.The camp is maintained by a sweetheart of an army man who would warm your soul and also help you with the local sites.With its bonfire evenings, valley views and homely food, it privdes a great escape from the city life.You can also book this for small workshops and gatherings on a weekend
