Dhanya Doctors Chamber is a neat and well organised facility, where you can meet a panel of dedicated doctors who can help with with all your psychological and psychiatric needs. The team is headed by Dr. Aswin Krishan Ajit, who has a great track record and a lineage in the field. The patient doctor privacy is held with utmost importance and confidentiality; the files and charts being neatly and clearly organised and handled carefully by the staff. The facility offers medical care for reasonable prices too.Being in and out of hospitals all my childhood, with all the surgeries and procedures , I had developed PTSD. The whole affair was depressing and my life was becoming a mess. Some odd 6 years ago, I met Dr. Aswin and since then he has been nothing short of a guardian angel. He’s a friend and a mentor who has always stood by me and helped me understand things and cope with traumas in life. Furthermore Dr. Aswin is always willing to help you over the phone and/or through texts and emails, which is truly a blessing at the most vital of moments. With adept knowledge on most modern changes in his field, a strict following of the newest of medical journals and good humanitarian values I can undoubtedly say he’s going to be of help to anyone who crosses his path.

Very bad experience with Dr. Geko George. He gave me wrong medicines, and was not at all interested in stopping my treatment. I had been under his treatment for one and half years. I had a minor anxiety issue, but he gave me drugs for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I may not have knowledge about psychiatric treatments, but I do know very well that Bipolar disorder is a severe mental disorder, and he kept giving me medicine for that.Worst of all, he is very money minded and thinks only about money, money, money all the time. He even clearly told me that he intended to continue my treatment for another 5 years. When I questioned him why, he did not have a clear answer to that and he kept repeating that I need permanent psychiatric help and only he could do that.I recommend to NEVER visit this doctor, as his treatments will affect your overall health greatly.Edit: I have removed a personal comment against the doctor, as it would be misinterpreted. But the comments mentioned above are very true.

I came to know about Dhanyas Doctors Chamber from a relative of mine. Since my mother was going through some emotional problems, I persuaded her to visit Dr. Ashwin. She agreed to see him just once. But after her first visit due to the medications given by the Dr and due to his friendly approach, she is going regularly. And thanks to yhe Dr, she is much much better than before.

Hi all,This is a reply to the comments made by the owner, to my friend who had posted his google review earlier about Dhanya doctors clinic. I appreciate the owner for taking the time out to respond to the Google review. Kindly note that the points mentioned in the review about Dr. Geko George, were not silly allegations based on some delusions. These are indeed true & serious, and deserve to be analysed in a constructive manner. Please note that we have no bad intentions towards Dhanya Doctors clinic. Our point of concern only starts and ends with Dr. Geko. This is a point by point explanation below:1) My friend had a minor anxiety issue, but was given drugs which are normally given for bipolar disorder & schizophrenia. I appreciate the owners explanation about the doctor prescribing these drugs, but please understand that he had been under the treatment of this doctor for one and a half years. I really dont think that for a minor anxiety issue, the treatment should have dragged on for one and a half years. Maybe, patients with severe anxiety disorders have to continue the treatment for a minimum of the mentioned period. But I know my friend really well, and I will hardly believe it if someone says he has a serious anxiety disorder.2) The owner says that my friend should have clarified his doubts with another psychiatrist before making any allegations. Let me tell you for a fact that we consulted 5 reputed medical professionals with a proven track record, and all of them were questioning why the prescribed drugs were given to him in the first place ! It would do more harm to the medical fraternity instead, if no one dares to question the length of a medical treatment process for a patient with a minor anxiety issue.3) The owner did not respond to the allegations about the money mindedness of the doctor. I presume either he would have missed reading this point, or chose to ignore it totally. Even I observed first hand about this doctors money mindedness. Once he was busy examining my friend, when the doctor received a call from an ex-patient who had dropped out of his treatment 2 years ago. The ex-patient requested to restart his treatment following some health issues which he had developed out of abruptly stopping his treatment. The doctor curtly demanded that the former patient pay his weekly fees for the entire period that this ex-patient dropped out of medical treatment (2 years), and only after the payment, the ex-patient should come see him for further treatment. I mean, where else in the world have you heard of such a thing ? I do not think even for a second that this doctor was joking. The demand was made rather seriously to the ex-patient, which really confirms the doctors money mindedness.4) Continuation from point 3. The doctor was recommending to my friend to continue his treatment for another 5 years. Somebody please explain to me why a patient with minor anxiety disorder should continue a medical treatment for 5 years ? Moreover, he was not at all interested in stopping my friends treatment and gave flimsy reasons against stopping the treatment, when my friend wished to end his treatment by following mandatory tapering of drugs (I dont have to preach to a doctor about the importance of tapering drugs). The doctor in question was repeatedly saying that tapering of drugs would take a minimum of 2 years. Seriously, for a minor anxiety issue ? Even with a limited medical knowledge, I will never trust that.I reiterate that we do not have any issues about Dhanya doctors chamber. We only have a problem against the medical ethics of Dr. Geko George. I believe the medical fraternity should see this issue as a constructive criticism, and please do not resort to blaming a person for airing his grievances on Google review site. I believe the owner should look at this issue without any bias. I trust that he will.

Friendly reception and medical dispensary. The consulting doctors are extremely experienced and possess expertise in their respective areas. I have been a patient since July 2018 and have received exemplary attention and medical advice. Would highly recommend for any and all psychological, psychiatric and neurological issues.

A psychiatric clinic which provides very reasonably priced medical care. A family run establishment with the practice being handled by subsequent generations, you will be in very good hands. The clinic has a pharmacy where you get drugs as well. The only downside is that there is limited parking space so remember to park on the main thammanam road. You need to come here in the morning by 9 and the doctor arrives around 10. The initial registration is 1000 rupee with consultation. All subsequent consultations are 300 rupees.
