The location entry was away by a km. Corrected it. Seems like the web company who uploaded product photos and info wasnt aware of the exact location and guessed it by address.Its a grand furniture shop. Unlike traditional teak or rosewood furniture made of matured wood, this is what can be called lite furniture.While modular quick assembly furniture is the norm in west and middle East, malayalis are warming up to the idea slowly.Damro outlet in Kollam has a very lavish range on display, all attractive and different with shapes and solutions that cant be achieved in traditional carpentryAfter the initial concern of fungal growth in humid Kerala, Damro and many others have addressed the issue. Now even a liquid resistant solutions for washrooms, showers and outdoor seating.While priced cheaper than teak, the lifespan of this material is a concern. From my experience, shipping it to new locations as we move along our career, the product remains solid n smooth even after 15 yrs. Teak will be there for generations but costlier to ship and also blocks the urge to buy new furniture as replacement.The only downside at this outlet is the heat inside the building. Lesser customers and hence AC remains off until someone visits the 4 floored outlet, making the atmosphere stifling And forces you to run out :-)
