This is the kind of place you go to if you want to escape to about 50 years ago from where we are now! Do not expect extremely polite staff who caters to your every whim. But the food is certainly great and the portions are very generous.

I Love visiting this place because of all the good memories we had in this restaurant. It is one of the oldest restaurents in Kochi and still serves really good, tasty food. I feel nostalgic each time i revisit this place. Ambience is average when compared to the other new restaurants in town, but food was always really good. Even the servers are really experienced and they know much food we wanted and theyll suggest the quantity, and most of the time it was perfect. Overall really good experience here!.

A nice place to sit, relax and have quality food

This traditional , Christian themed restaurant is still serving some of the best Beef, Pork and Sea Food items in the town. My personal favourite chilli pork. Even if its quickly spotted from Banarjee Road it has ambient parking spaces too.

We went for lunch at 1PM, Nothing was available shown in the menu. They just had fried rice, noodles , veg & egg biryani.Not sure why they are maintaining big hotel with nothing as per the menu

I havent been in such hotel yet where no UPI/card payment accepted. Keep liquid money in hand otherwise need to find an ATM counter after having food from Sanjoe.. is so bad.

Once Sanjoe restaurant served nice food.. those days are GONE, but their price for dishes are still on higher side.I had egg fries rice and garlic chicken for lunch, rice was no better than the one you can get in a very low budget restaurant and the chicken pieces in garlic chicken had more than meat. Also, chicken seems to be old, it didnt have any flavour.Only good thing I felt was their air conditioning in the dining area.

Superb hotel with variety of dishes. the only issue is Customer service. once they took the order theyll not give attention to our other needs. theyll say will come and wont look back. and they serve food very slowly. wont take write orders properly. but still, dishes are best. yummy, especially pork items. 4 stars only, bcoz of the service

Good atmosphere to have food with family. Food is also good and well behaved crew. They provided a cradle for my little baby which added more convenience. Parking facility is also there in the busy town.

An good family restaurant. Tried some Chinese dishes, which were tasty and reasonably priced considering the quantity. They have a successful catering unit too. There is also an outlet in the ground floor facing Shanmughom Road, serving good quality cakes n other bakery dishes.

Sanjoe Restaurant is near St Alberts College, Regional Office of Income Tax Department, The High Court of Kerala, and so many other important institutions of Ernakulam. It is a good place to dine. They are ready to facilitate luncheon conferences for small groups. Rates are moderate here. The Marine Drive is just a few meters away from here.

They dont have a menu.... They will provide a big menu printed ... No use... nothing will Weve available........ lost almost one hour sitting there. Very bad customer service and bad attitude by the waiters there.

The best and tastiest meals I ever had throughout Kerala. Fish curry free with the non veg lunch is very tasty. You can order for additional items like fish fry ,beef fry , Pork fry and other items in the menu. The serve very tasty payasam (sweet ) along with the meal combo. Food is tasty , not costly. The staff are excellent with their courteous behaviour and neat uniforms. The air conditioned restaurant with a good ambience is the best at these moderate rates for non vegetarians .

How staffs can be so polite to the customer, they make us feel that we are at home.I am a sanjoe customer since my childhood, their fish curry meals is a amazing one, hope one of the best in kochi, they had very nice dish of beef, which is cut into long narrow pieces, tastes really super, the real taste of beef is inside, juicy . But its been little long i have got that dish. Better i hope that they would be taking it back to the table soon.

There are not much restaurants like that left in kochi as everything seems to be getting very fancy here lately.Price wise it is a bit expensive. Taste wise its good, no complaints. (I had egg fried rice and chilli gopi if youre wondering)

Lonely, secluded place that feels like it wasnt renovated since the fifties. The foods okay...just not super satisfactory. If youre really hungry and cant go anywhere else then maybe this is your place. When we went it didnt feel very neat or lively. Their price agrees with the local pricing but not worth what you get on the plate.

The food taste was average and service they offer was average as well. They just turned their AC off as we were having food. Then why have they described it as AC restaurant and giving us bills of the same. Attitude of their service personnal is bad. Never will I get in there or recommend to anyone else.
