Good place for medium sized function. The facility has an auditorium which is an old styled one. It has got an awesome place for outdoor gathering. I would recommend this place for outdoor functions in the evening. Ample car parking space available.

Good place for get togethers and functions. They have halls of different sizes with an ample car park. Very silent location with a good garden for outdoor parties too.... Only thing lacking is proper maintenance

For intercity guests location is remote, no proper sign board at the entrance moreover, google map wont help your task easy , that means google map also got confusion for exact direction. I bet you can find better hall or convention center in this city for the rate they charge you for a day or two. Paved Parking space is limited and unpaved parking spaces are neglected. The management unintentionally giving a message is its customers We cant offer you more take it or leave it

Possess a good air conditioned hall that can accommodate around 500 people. Parking space is also there but doubt whether it can provide ample space when the guests are more than 200. One of the place to host private events like bdays, engagement etc.

Dd retreat, one of the oldest, mainly shooting spot of 2000s movies. I think it have a shuttle court arrangement inside it. Having a parking arrangement a lot to the structure. Ac and non ac facilities are available for the hall.

Vehicles only upto traveller can reach the location more heavy vehicles should drop around 300m away from location. Apart from that its a very good place.

Someone in the review said the truth, the management is just looking for money. Bad maintained spaces. Dont ever go for the Caterers they suggest. They are only looking for someone to give orders for their jobless caterers (Cochin Caterers). You will definitely get a good spot in city other than DD Retreat.DD was once a great place to be, but the new management has killed its future.

Was a great club once with a lot of activities, pool with a dressing room with steam, sauna and a jacuzzi. The gym used to be amazing with a glassed view into the pool. Had an amazing restaurant. Many games like golf, tennis, pool, table tennis etc were there. Even had boating.Well I do feel disappointed that they have not maintained. The pool is good though and place is only used for parties and movie shooting nowadays.I do wish theyd renovate the club as it was 10 yes before.

I didnt give one star review rating for their pathetic services and their staffs communication and attitude especially one guy Mr. Manoj. I think they are working for collecting unauthorized charges.. The property manager and their staffs he no idea how to serve their guests... Shame on their after service by providing these kinds of facilities like badminton courts, open lawn area.If you think the event is important memorable moments to you.. Take my advice on DD Retreat...JUST AVOID....

A moderately large recreation hall which can accommodate 250 to 300 people in the main hall. There is ample parking space and is away the mad traffic yet very close to Vytilla and Thammanam junctions. Nice place to conduct private functions.

Situated away from the city gives it a calm and peaceful ambience. You will get a lot of parking space plus a nice platform for your events.

A place I once loved so much, lots of memories, moments, it was an EPIC place, but then something happened.. maybe management changed, idk.. no maintenance, the gym, the pool, slides, underground dressing rooms, steam bath, jaccussi, wide lawn, small lake, everything is ruined now. Its where a lot of movies shots were taken. I havent visited that place in a year now, so dont know that current situation but i dont think there wont be much of a difference.

Pathetic Service... Mr. Manoj (dont know his designation) is communicating very harsh with customers. They dont know the value of the customers. Didnt recommend anyone this place for any events. So much irritated with their service.. Mr. Manoj is asking (not directly) commission charges because we are provided our own event management team and caterers.. Simply said that Really frustrated..

Food quality is very poor..u cant see any meat in chilly chicken,only bones are there.you can rather call it as chicken bones fry. Vegetarian is very worst..

Its a nice and calm place inside the city with good parking space

A good club for all ... Lots of walk around spaces ... Conducting lots of film shootings ( Recently Lucifer: The funeral area of Minister) ... Ideal for functions like Marriages, receptions etc. There is some rooms to stay as well.. Also, they are conducting badminton coaching, swimming coaching etc in summer hoildays. The space is not easy to see from main road, but one of the big / best utility space in city limit. The club is running by #Desai Homes, a famous builder in Kerala. 2-3 conference hall as well over there to conduct small programs. Ample car parking space is the major advantage of the project. You can definitely enjoy the building ... Just visit over there , when you go near by ... There is a care taker over there at Club, you can get the more information from him. The club is located in May first road, in between Thammanam - Pulleppady road.

Getting in and out of this place is sometimes difficult as the road approach is narrow, compounded by wayside parking. (Once inside DD Retreat compound, its fine)
