The best rates for cash in Bangkok. They are not the friendliest bunch but it does mean they are quite quick. For the fastest service go in the morning. For the love of God though, remember your passport!
Without a doubt the best place I’ve been to in BKK that gives the best exchange rate. Conveniently off Nana BTS station. Remember to bring your passport though! Their website is up to date with exchange rates so you know what you’re getting. Has some sofas and chairs while you wait and hand sanitizers on the counters for your convenience.
Mini scam alert- checked their website and the exchange rate was 4.19 (website updated at 1pm)- went to the store at around 330pm, and the exchange rate had become 4.17 on the tv screen- handed over my money and they returned the THB at 4.16- miraculously i went to look at the TV and they had changed the prices to 4.16- confronted the staff about it. he and the manager stayed silent and a guilty look, and then the manager told him to pay me back the difference- after leaving the shop with 4.17, i checked the website again and it miraculously changed to 4.17 as well, and the TV was changed back to 4.17 too
Very good rates compared to other exchanges I visited. Service is a bit slow. First you have to stand in a que and give your foreign currency and a copy of your passport. Your notes will be evaluated and you will get back any note thats torn. You will be then given a token that has your serial number and the amount you will get back. You will then have to wait for your serial number to be called to get your exchanged cash.
Best exchange rate (tied with Travelex a little further down the street) I found among about a dozen places I checked nearby. Was offering 30.15 to buy US$1 and 30.43 to sell on Nov 14 2019 when goog was reporting US$1 was worth 30.21. Nearby Stratford was offering 30.03 and all others around were giving
One of the best rates you will get in Bangkok. Please be aware that you have to bring a passport with you, otherwise they want do anything. Once the made a copy you give the money for exchange to the cashier. afterwards you will get a number and they will call you as soon as your bahts are ready for you. All-in-all a very professional and safe procedure which took me about 5 min.
Fast efficient currency exchange service, but most importantly the best rates Ive come across in Sukhumvit. I come here every year. Make sure you take your passport, they make a copy which you take to the counter with your currency. They give you a ticket number and back office count out your cash. When your number is called, you can collect your currency.Dont be fooled by Super Rich Internet quoted rate, its not what you get at the Exchange. Today for GDP £, Vasu was giving 39.25. Super Rich quoted 39.35, but one of their branches offered 39.20 and another 39.10. The Internet quoted rate for Vasu is what you get at the Exchange.Vasu better than Super Rich.
They have the best exchange rates I could find. They photocopy your passport. You give the currency you want to exchange, get the estimate, take the coupon and wait to collect the exchanged currency. Your number is called and you are given the exchange. Professional and fast.
Fast in and out.Professional and convenient
Best rate for buying/selling. First and friendly service.Safe location. Easy to get there.
This money exchange shop is one of the best in Bangkok, I always exchange money here and I always get the best possible exchange rate. Remember to take your passport with you as they require your original passport,They will make a copy of your passport and you will go to the counter with your passport copy, you will tell them how much you want to exchange and you will handover your money to the consultant, they will give you a number reciept with the amount you will get. Then take a seat until your number is called out, collect your cash and leave. The other exchange shop with the best rates is Super Rich Thailand however Vasu and super rich is the same making both shops the best place to change money.Local Thai business man always use Vasu which explains why they are the best.
Best exchange in town. I always check on google what the daily rate is and I almost always get about the same. They dont charge any comissions. Friendly staff that speaks good English. Just bring your money from your country and exchange here. It will save a lot of money. Make sure to bring your passport, they will make a copy for free.
Checked several Currency Exchange locations in the nearby area and this business consistently paid a higher rate and appeared to be the most legitimate. They always had more than a dozen clients waiting to be served, but took care of everybody in a timely manner. It was worth the wait to put more money in my pocket. Please be certain you understand exchange rates and be sure to count your money before you leave. People (and machines) do make mistakes; however, this location is where Im heading next time Im in town.
They refused to exchange my $100 bill because someone wrote their initials on it. There was no rip or tear or missing piece of the bill, just has a couple of black letters on the bill itself. Also, dont trust their website. I checked before going and it was a few baht less than quoted on their website.
The rates at Vasu Exchange are consistently better than what you will find at other exchange places. Ill be bringing my local currency next time I visit Bangkok due to how close Vasu Exchange gets to the actual market rate. Work out better than changing it at home.
Still the best rates in the area. Been coming here for years. Exchanged EUR to MYR at current rate and EUR to SGP with less than 1% fee. Can only recommend.
Best rate (matches Superrich in Nana Station, on the paid side of the station) for £pound Sterling. You go in, they photocopy your passport, ask the value, you get a ticket then wait for them to count your cash up in a back office. Once ready they call your ticket number, collect your hard earned cash then off you go. There are other exchanges up and down Sukhumvit Road if this place is closed but at a slightly lesser exchange rate. Loads of them about, you just have to search for the best exchange rate!
We got the best rates here during our Thailand trip. Service and customer service is excellent. We didnt have to wait as it wasnt too busy at that time. Employees are professional and very friendly.
I live in Bangkok a long time already and found this please to have the best rates I could find.As stated in other reviews you need to bring identification to exchange money as required by law. Of course you need to check the rate and amount as mistakes can happen. I never had any problems in all those years though. You get a number and need to wait a few minutes. Your number will be called and you receive the exchange.Good service and therefore a busy place.
Ok this place does have the best rates in Bangkok. This is the place that Thai people go to change their money and so you know the rate is really the best around. I have know people who have changed large amounts of money here and they have even been provided with some security back to their hotel. These days you need a passport and you may have to take a number a wait your turn.
One of the best rates in Bangkok! Very near Nana BTS. Remember to bring your passport, they need a copy of it. It gets quite packed sometimes. Wait in queue for your turn at the counter, where you have to provide the hotels name (where you are staying) and will be given a queue number. Take a seat, and wait for the staff to call out your number.
Best exchange rate in Bangkok. And its just under the Nana Station. For example, If you change 1000$ from Siam Commercial Bank n you change the same amount of Vasu you will get 400Bath more in Vasu. So highly recommended.
Very good rates. Clean place, very quick and kind. One of staff can speak Korean a little bit :)
I have used this shop three years running. So far they seem to have good rates. I always call in here after checking out rates at other exchange booths. Good staff here also.
Very high rate!also staff are so nice!
2nd best currency exchange rate in Bangkok. It is located only a few steps away from SuperRich in BTS Station or DeeMoney across the street, and you save lots of points here. Worth the walk. For those complaining about unfriendly service, I never had an issue, and I have been going to Vasu for decades. Maybe its an one-off event from stress of dealing with strange foreigners with no Thai or English language, or understanding of proper procedures: (first copy passport by off-duty police or attendant [required by law to prevent money laundering and counterfeiters], line up, present money, take queue # stub, check that little piece of paper for exchange rate & amount, wait for your number to be called, retrieve converted money, count to verify, and leave satisfied). I smile and greet them, so they recognize me. I jest about constantly fluctuating rates on website and on in-store board, which is market-driven hourly. But, of course, they are still better than SuperRich or banks. If theres free banana, take one, for merit to you and to shop.
Consistently the best place to exchange money.Note: you must bring your passport
I checked in vasu exchange website the rate before pop up in the branch. There is NO RATE BOARD in the branch.I requested and showed in my mobile the online rate of the day, which the counter refused to give it to me.In a very bad manner the woman (looks like the boss there) ask me to leave moving her hand, just treating me like I were a dog. When I asked for the copy they made of my passport. She said my paper and broke it in from of me in 2 pieces but keep it with her.Maybe these people need to be teached how to give a proper customer service.
Very friendly and professional: clear communication, no pressure and safe environment.
An excellent place to exchange money. Their rates are among the best in Bangkok. Their service is efficient and (generally) fast. Its the only exchange I use.
This place ripped me off 25usd to exchange my money. Then after talking with them for 15 minutes the agreed to a mistake but gave me money back in the wrong currency.I suggest going to Super Rich Thailand they have better rates.
Good service! Speak english, and do you can change many tipe currecys!
Fast and correct. Just need to bring your passport.
Best rate I have found in Bangkok.
You have to take great care with the people there especially the younger guys. They will try to cheat you by using a different exchange currency and if you dont see this you will lose. They then say sorry mistake. I used them for 12 years or more. The older people were honest, then a lot of younger ones started and there lay the problem.
Some of the best rates around. Quick efficient and airconditioning while you wait.
Best exchange rates, location is easy to get to.Super fast to photocopy passport and exchange your money even when busy.
Mate i have used vasu for years the exchange board is and has always been at the end of counter and if you cant see it you have a problem..No hidden fees ,excellent service, best rates in Thailand ..
Overall good but super rich main center has better rates.
Best rate in BKK, Excellent service, friendly staff, you have show your ID card or passport and write down your hotel name (for tourist)
Good rate but service could be a little faster
Very good exchange rates and fast service, I recommend. Was looking to stop at Super Rich but decided to try this place based on other reviews and checking on rates as I walked to it.

From the exterior of a building that has no windows, you may think that it is not open for a moment, but that is not the case.On the day I used it, the rate was 0.0168 which was better than the exchange office at Don Mueang Airport.Passport is essential. First, I took a copy and handed the copy and Japanese yen cash at the counter.
Do you accept Hong Kong dollars or not?
They apply one of the best exchange rates that can be found in Bangkok. The process is somewhat slow, due, on the one hand, to the work system they employ and, on the other, to the number of clients that accumulate at certain times. The process is as follows:- Upon arrival you must go to the photocopier with your passport (or a copy). There they make a copy of the document in which the client will have to write his address in Bangkok.- With the copy and the money to be exchanged, the customer is directed to a position at the counter, where he delivers the copy and the money and in return receives a ticket indicating his shift number, the amount delivered and the amount he will receive in THB .- With the ticket, the customer goes to the waiting area until a screen indicates their turn. Moment in which the client goes to the counter position that corresponds to him and receives his money in THB and signs the receipt of the operation, with which the process has concluded. The waiting area is pretty basic. It consists of a sofa that saw better times and some stools from very different mothers. The site also has the advantage of not having to deal with money and documentation on the street, as is customary in most exchange stalls in the city.
One of the many changes that I met both currencies in these area than in other high influx of tourists. The door is enough subsidies and comfortable, the girl at the desk very kind and the exchange ratio was in line with the official one that could be found in almost all places.
