I was here on a Saturday evening and the place was pretty full, luckily we had reserved a table. The sercive was pretty slow and unorganized as it took more than half an hour before we even got a menu, and we were never offered new drinks etc. The dish I ordered said it didnt contain milk products, but when I finally got my food it was bathing in butter. They told me I should have asked for it without butter, but a bit hesitantly they made me a new one. The food itself was OK, some dishes (like the starters) were a bit tasteless and could have done with a bit more salt perhaps. All in all the food and service didnt really fit the price, but I would like to give it another shot hoping it was just a bad and busy day for them.

We ate dinner during the week and got a seat without a reservation without any problems. We like to eat Indian food and are used to the prices. Therefore do not find it overpriced, but appropriate.The food was very tasty, well seasoned and well done (we only had vegetarian). In my opinion, the naan bread was one of the best around. Really fluffy.We got papadam and a liqueur as a present. And nobody was unkind to us. I even had a request and the staff asked about it. We would love to come back.

Wanted to order something to pick up. The man on the phone couldnt speak German, just broken English. He could not answer the question of whether there is garlic in the food or simply did not understand it. He didnt say the time when we could get the food. Then we went there on luck and of course the meal wasnt ready. I said exactly to the waiter, who could at least speak German, and showed what I had ordered on a slip of paper. 10 minutes later it was ready. Then at home the food opened and 1 of 2 dishes was wrong. The taste of the meat was too spicy and the soup was totally watery, greasy and otherwise relatively tasteless. Like the rest of the shop. Every penny was definitely too much and this was definitely my last visit to this restaurant.

We have already ordered twice at the Royal India in Ehingen and are really excited. The food was delivered hot and tasted great. The service on the phone is absolutely great and very friendly. The delivery was on time and the driver was very nice. We will definitely order again and thank the Royal India team.

LONG DELIVERY TIME - WRONG ORDER - WRONG CALCULATIONOrdered at around 6:45 pm today. On the phone they said we had to wait 50 to 60 minutes. So far everything is good. After an hour and a half the food was still not there. When asked in the restaurant where the food was staying, we were told the driver had problems finding previous addresses, but he would be there in a few minutes. 30 minutes later, meanwhile it was 8:45 p.m., we were still waiting. When we asked again where it was attached to the delivery, we were told they didnt know where the supplier was, but they would call him and then let us know. A call from where the supplier is at the moment never came. About 20 minutes later, at 9:05 p.m., after more than 2 hours, the food finally came. The joy about it did not last long. The food was lukewarm and part of the order was wrong. Instead of spicy chicken breast with sauce and rice, chicken wings with french fries were delivered. However, they charged the expensive chicken and not the cheaper chicken wings.Even when recalculating the prices, we were charged 90 cents too much. In itself not the worst in the world but also very annoying due to the situation.All in all, very disappointing. We will not order here again.

We liked the food very much. I think the price-performance ratio is okay. We eat Indian more often and the prices are rather normal. We ordered the take away and cant comment on the service on site. I cant understand the sometimes very bad reviews. We would eat from there again at any time. Unfortunately there is no menu online ... at least I didnt find one.

Unfortunately, when we ate there last year, there was no coriander in it but parsley. Ordered food today and cilantro everywhere, even in rice. So completely inedible for us. 40 euros for the bin.

Not very enthusiastic, not disgusted - satisfied.Just what I expected: good food for a reasonable price. To rate that badly would be outrageous on my part, especially since it is not, as already mentioned, one hundred percent my taste.Who goes into a bar and then complains that they dont like beer? : DThere are four stars for the fast and friendly service and the food described above.There was a star deduction for a few little things - one of the waiters had his mask permanently under his nose (at the time of publication, the corona story is still in full swing), in one corner I could make out cobwebs and were here and there to find inexplicable black crumbs on the tablecloth (probably dust).That clouded the impression a bit.
