Typical USA-style fast-food burgers (my second favorite), I like it. Not a fancy European style. But I was missing peanuts while I was waiting for my order and prices are little bit high compare to other countries (this is why only 4 stars).So this is not an everyday choice (which is good for my shape :D )
Yep a bit expensive, but is a new experience. The food is tasty and the soda is out of this world, you can drink cola or sprite with raspberry, peach, cherry, etc.I like the way that you build your own burger, also the potatoes are tasty.Also is Covid compliment.
I tried five guys in the UK for the first time and loved it. Everything they sell is high quality and tastes godly. Its a fast food restaurant though. And for a fast food restaurant they are definitely too expensive. Super cool place though. They tried to make it look like in America and they definitely succeeded. U get the the vibes haha. They have an open kitchen where u not only see people make your food but u also get their energy. They dance, talk laugh and so on. Try it out for suree.
First time at 5 guys, you have to pick all your toppings, went all in and regretted it as you could barely taste the burger, later on I stripped everything out to have a go at the virgin burger and it was fine, pretty boring in my opinion.On the other hand, there were two big positives:The fries were the best Ive ever had, and the portion size is insane, besides filling the regular (~500ml) fries cups weve ordered, there were just as many or more spilled around in the paper bag, we could have done without the burgers itself and left full.The soda from the dispenser was real good too, unlike other competitors.
How is this more expensive than Five Guys in London?It’s an alright burger. Bit better than Burger King but almost double the price. For the price, do yourself a favour and google “best burger Wien” and go to a proper non-chain restaurant.

Good american burgers, you pick a base (Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Baconburger, Bacon Cheeseburger) and then you can choose from the free toppings (from lettuce to mushrooms) and sauces. Fries Sold seperately are added in a Cup and for a i got more Feeling they add some loose Fries to the bag - more than enough to share. You pay more than at McDonalds for it all being made fresh, plus the burgers are bigger - but you have to choose yourself if thats worth it for you.

I was following the opening closely as it has been postponed since May 2020 due to... you know who...My experience with Five Guys goes back to Florida, London, Washington and I have never been let down. The quality standard and taste are constant and original.Friendly customer service. Burgers are very authentic. Shakes are delicious as always.Looking forward to the times when peanuts are back in the queue.Yes, its pricey. But totally worth it.Everyone was masking. Could be more clear with signs and minimum distances, but I get it. Nobody likes to be reminded of... you know who...
Loved it. The place was packed but who could blame them, those burgers were delicious! Id say it doesnt get much closer to the original Five Guys in the states, unless you actually are in the states. Respect for the crew, they kept their cool and kept up great work and taste!
Fast food as it should be.. fast and big amounts They offer all kind of flavored cokes and drinks,vfremch fries were over the top but anyways felt it overrated. The bread felt cheap for such a burger price and service was OK.
Horrible. Just horrible. Nothing to say. Milkshake with a tonne of sugar, the girl of the cash desk seems that or don’t understand nor German, nor English put my order in one instead of 2 milkshakes with all toppings inside. Quality/price is indisputable. With this price you can eat tasty hamburger in some normal place.
Was really looking forward to try this burger restaurant for weeks and I must say it was quite the disappointment, their system isnt something that fabulous or interesting, the burger gives me stomach aches and fries are boring, the ordering could be a bit faster and with all that its expensive for what you will get just for yourself.the only thing that was good is the milkshake.. If I will be coming back, its just for that.

Cold and wet buns, meat was also cold and flavorless. More expensive than any other burguer chain but not necessarily better.
It was legendary, as I remember from Washington, D.C. If I should recommend something, it will be cheeseburger and salty caramel milkshake

Not worth the hype and the high price.The hotdog is okay, the burger is overloaded and super greasy, but it tastes good.The Coke Freestyle machine is great- with unlimited refills.The regular fries are decent, however the Cajun spiced fries are too much. Its like eating a spice mix without anything else- a total overkill for your tastebuds. Those i cant recommend at all!Overall its decent- nice for one but for a second time maybe not.

Very good burger in the heart of vienna.
The cheeseburger and the fries were better than average for a fast food restaurant, but not at that price. Infact, for that price I would expect at least a tray and some packaging thats a bit more sophisticated than an aluminum foil. Also the restaurant looks more like a car repair shop, and not in a cool way. The only thing missing is motor oil on the floor and exhaust fumes in the air. It feels really unappetizing to eat there. The music was so loud that the staff had to yell in order to take and deliver the order. The fact that the order numbers are shouted out and not shown on a screen, makes it even worse. Extra bonus points though for a really wide variety of flavors of soft drinks that you can refill endlessly for free.

NEVER ORDER VIA DELIVERY PLATFORMS. five guys is really, really, really good, but their packaging combined with the delivery services is the best way to absolutely ruin an expensive fast food meal. Mjam delivered a soggy, lukewarm mess to my door that cost €100 and no one was happy with. But I know from first hand experience that a burger, fries and milkshake in the restaurant is among the best junk food I’ve ever eaten.
I would give this Five Guys a 4 star rating because it was a bit awkward to order our food since we had to yell at the guy at the counter for him to hear us, and the fries were a little soggy (probably because you can’t actually eat in the restaurant due to corona and we had to carry them 15 minutes to our car). BUT I gave a 5 star rating because there are so many 1 star ratings that are just not justifiable and the entire rating of the restaurant is totally scewed because of them. I’ve had Five Guys all around the world and this one tastes pretty much the same as anywhere else!
I can only recommend cayenne fries, Burger was soaky and the guy who took our order was very unpolite.
After having experienced awesome deliciousness at Five Guys in Miami a few years ago, I was excited about the opening of one in Vienna. They had the free extra toppings, generous portions and very friendly staff. (Thats what the 2 stars are for)However, the taste, texture and...well...everything was very bland and uninteresting compared to the US. For the extremely inappropriate price for a meal, it was nowhere near worth the €20.50 I paid for a hotdog, fries and a shake.Just a big nope from me. Ill stick with Le Burger. Costs the same and theyre much better quality.

Service was poor, order was wrong (two out of four burgers), the wait was not justifiable. For anything other than the Cajun fries or an unusual flavoured milk shake, other places are better and more value for money

Its a rare occurance to find American food in Austria that tastes the same as it does in America, but Five Guys does it well. The strawberry shake and cajun fries are a favorite of mine.
I almost forgot the disappointment I experienced while visiting five guys in New York. Expensive and bad burgers. If you really want to eat here, I would at least recommend checking your order while still being in the place. In my case, 2 out of 4 toppings ordered were missing.

Hefty price for a mediocre burger, the bun was soggy, most likely wasnt toasted and then the warm burger was wrapped in aluminium foil, soaking everything through in the steam. Ordered fries with the cajun seasoning, they were way over-salted and barely edible.Payed 42€ for one shake, one drink, two burgers and fries. Would have payed the same at Le Burger with way better food and a less fast food feeling

It took them a few weeks to get it together, but they have a good system in place now. The line supervisor is AMAZING- efficient, funny, good-natured. (Also American, so +1 for that). The staff seemed to respond to him well. I have a lot of confidence that if this is maintained, it will be successful. Thank you for curing my homesickness. Much love from an American in Wien. 🥰

The burgers are great, but very overpriced. It is difficult to understand why potatoes need to be shipped from The Netherlands to be served in Vienna. All in all: been there, eaten there, that’s it.
Have you ever wanted to pay 3x more for fast food for no reason? Then this is the place for you! The foods alright but does not justify the price at all. Go if you want the experience or are rich, otherwise just go to McDonalds or something

Also, while it makes sense to be able to order in English at a place like this, I think its weird that you *cant* order in German... This is Austia, after all...
If you like Five Guys burgers, this location produces no mere facsimile; this is the genuine article. Juicy beef patties that stay together on the bun but crumble in your mouth, with any and all the toppings you desire. Fries and milkshakes dont miss a beat either.Youll be paying a premium for the pleasure though, as its priced up at tourist prices. Weve found ourselves preferring that to the typical other options exhibited by American chains that hop the pond: making concessions to cut costs, resulting in products that arent anything like the original American product. Not the case here.If you find yourself missing the taste of America, or havent had the pleasure and want to experience it for the first time, Five Guys is a spot on place to head to for satisfying those desires.

Even though there is a line inside with more than 10 customers, they insist on having only one cashiers desk open. For a burger/fries menu that costs way more than what it should, at least you shouldnt have to wait more than 15 minutes but I guess the company does not care
A very famous American fast food chain right in the heart of Vienna. It was a tremendous experience. Service was a bit slow due to COVID rules. Food was a bit too expensive. A burger and a shake cost me around 20 euros and that was without fries. However the burger tasted great and the milkshake. Experience was great but too expensive for fast food.

I was lucky enough to not wait too long in the queue, came little bit early. Burgers tastes good, I would pretty much compare them to Burger king but a little bit better. unfortunately not as expected, the fries were too Salty! I will give it another chance after lockdown, but at the meantime still Hard Rock and Fridays better than five guys in Vienna.

Tl;Dr: Good Food but overpriced. Most negative reviews are outdated.Five Guys was hyped into oblivion when the restaurant first opened and was quickly overrun by many. Stressed personal, longer waiting times or wrong orders were the norm at first (and honestly to be expected) which resulted in many negative reviews. Not wanting to be trampled by hungry hordes I waited but finally found the time to try the almost legendary fast food chain.Its good. Like, actually really good. My gf and I shared a Bacon Cheeseburger (13,50€), Large Fries (7€) and a Vanilla Strawberry Milkshake (6.50€). We payed 27€ in total and were rather full afterwards though both of us werent starving to begin with. The employees were very friendly and helpful when it came to information on the different options they have and seemed to really do their best.The burger was juicy, the bun a bit squished but very tasty and the meat had a nice flavour. All toppings were put on correctly and there was quite a lot of all of them.The large fries really were large but definitely not for 3-4 people. They were a bit on the saltier side but I dont really mind. Ketchup and mayo as well as relish were given for free.The milkshake was not too sweet and the strawberry bits gave it a nice feel.All in all we had a great time at Five Guys. The food was great but with 27€ total definitely overpriced in my opinion. I think its sad, that the restaurant still has such bad reviews because of their struggles at first. If youve got the money to spare or just want to try their burgers Id say go for it!

I ordered a burger over lieferando and payed 14.5e. I expected a burger which is enough for one average person, the burger is about the size of 2 mcdonalds cheesburgers which are 2x 1.4e if you order them over lieferando.never again

I know, just opened, BUTaustrian-website has limited information in how to get in touch and order ahead.was there 6:26pm, short line outside with rudimentary guidance setup, not obvious. probably 6/7 parties ahead of me, i was last in linea very unfriendly employee was instructing me in a quite rude way, that the line is closed, that I should no more stand in line and closed is closed and to go away. they can no more guarantee to serve all clients before a closing date line?went to another close by burger franchise, quite busy there, very friendly people, fast servicenot the best impression the five guys gave me. its hard to recommend them with such an unpleasant experience.

The base price of 12.50 for the cheeseburger is gross overcharging.sure, you have all kinds of extras included and its a delicious burger (very well done patty though), but that kind of money still has no relation to the product other than the name and fame of the restaurant and probably the rent at that location.fries are very good (yay peanut oil!) und therefore worth their money, but you should look into getting local/Austrian suppliers.was happy to see the big soda machines and immediately dissapointed by the very limited choice of drinks. get some trashy american corn syrup stuff in there ;)

If you compare them to other classics in Vienna they are way too overpriced. Its 2021 and people still act like they have something special to offer that was never here before. Shakes in combination with burgers arent the healthiest thing anyway, we got enough USA here already.Not worth the price, the quality suffered through soggy fries and a bloody burger. I puked twice into my mouth after the first bite. Mcdonalds around the corner has more to offer.
