We have now been going to Khazanna for 10 years and have only amazing things to say. Their food, decor, and service are all best in the city. We just hosted a party for 40-50 people yesterday and everything for impeccable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Indian food with great hospitality 🙂

Absolutely stunning atmosphere, waitstaff, and ambiance. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine at an affordable price, dishes here come with much more than you pay for.However, be wary of your taste buds! Most of the dishes come aggressively seasoned, whether its sweetness, heat, or bitterness. They may not be what you expect.

Had a fabulous experience at Khazana! The restaurant is gorgeous inside and proves a great first impression. The staff were so accommodating and considerate of our group and the few dietary restrictions present. They made adjustments and substitutions that worked for all us without us even asking them to. There was so much food and it was all so delicious and amazing that we all left with the feeling of food comas to come!

Nice ambiance. Good staff. Had the lunch special with butter chicken. Everything was very tasty and plentiful. Dropped a star because the bathroom was not as clean as It should have been. All staff were masked.

Never been to their restaurant, but their taste of Edmonton sample was absolutely horrible, butter chicken was just sweet tomato sauce, and one piece of chicken was so hard that it too me and my girlfriend to both to cut it up slightly, unlike beef or lamb, chicken should not have any hard pieces like that.Wanted to post a video but google remove only allows photos.Prob will not be going to the actual restaurant.I did NOT say I got one piece of chicken, one piece of chicken there were 3 pieces.. I took a video.Like I said.. google reviews do not allow video.

I loved the ambiance.They have Halal options. It was super cosy. Every item we ordered was really good. The staff was also really nice. I would definitely try it again.

The restaurant provides an enjoyable atmosphere with lots of wood architecture, fireplaces, and Indian themed artwork. The service was decent and our servers offered advice on selections. Food quality was great with everyone in our party of 10 enjoying their meal. One member of our party ordered extra spicy. Based on his level of perspiration while eating I would say they delivered the spice! I would love to come again and try additional dishes. Overall an enjoyable experience here.

Beautiful place, Free wifi. Found the variety of Indian food lacking. I imagined a place with at least 10 different curries but there was only two. Otherwise for was good. Not sure why they had noodles. The nan bread was good but Ive had better. Dessert was an interesting selection but it was hard to find something i liked. There was no ice cream. Staff was friendly but were a bit occupied with the amount of people.

This restaurant was an experience worth having!The usual great parts of Indian staples were here- great naan (both garlic and buttered), amazing veg and meat options for everyone and attentive service.I recommend the Choma choma- if you like wet (masala) ribs this is the dish for you!Overall, this is a recommend to a friend and a definite re visit.If I could make one comment, I was confused by the atmosphere. If they are a fine dining restaurant, they have to food and the ambiance to make it amazing but there was a stage in the corner and what looked like an out of order buffet.If I were to pick, I would say stick with the fine dining, the food can do the talking for you!

Very good Indian cuisine options and convenient location

Visiting from Calgary and was recommended this restaurant from a one of the staff in the hotel we stayed at. So glad she recommended it. Khazanas dishes are delicious. We ordered a platter combo, which was very filling. The dhal makhani was my favourite followed by the veg biryani. Service was excellent - the waiters were attentive and courteously answered all our questions.

Great lunch buffet! Food was delicious and plentiful. It was busy but well-organized and didnt take too long to get food. Wonderful desserts. Really enjoyed the included chai tea. The whole meal was less than $20!! The atmosphere was just beautiful. Loved the fireplaces and aesthetic. Will be back for sure. excellent

I went for my birthday dinner with my wife and i would say food was very good, not excellent but worth a try. Interior is awesome and service is good too. I just felt that according to the food it was bit pricy.

Perfect place have meal with friends. Rustic look, low dim filament bulbs makes this restaurant a perfect place to have meals with friends or with family. Very hospitable customer service. Delicious Indian food with many verities.

I would say this place has got everything to enjoy delicious meals. The ambiance is perfec to spend a quality time while eating food. They have great choice of music, excellent service and food is undoubtedly best among all Indian restaurant. Price is bit high but the quality will give you even higher level of satisfaction.

Ordered Veg biryani through ubereats. The recipie was bad. Didnt have biryani flavor at all. It was like mixed vegetable rice. Plus Indian biryanis dont have Brocolli in them. This doesnt go well with the recipe.. plus potatoes and fried onions were missing.. the chefs need a bit of training on how to make good biryanis for sure.. over all disappointed and wont be ordering again.

Excellent food that comes in large portions. The restaurant is large and would be well accommodating for large parties. Only down side was the music, makes the place feel 80s romantic, not authentic Indian. Would have been nice to hear some traditional music.

Its a beautifully decorated restaurant but the food is completely average. There are better restaurants with yummy indian food so I felt like I wasted my money there. The tandoori chicken smelt bad so couldnt eat that. We had high hopes from this restaurant but were kinda disappointed. Not going back again.

10/10 delicious food and even better service! I eat here often. I’ve never had an issue! Today I ordered skip the dishes and they forgot the naan bread. So I called to ask if I could come pick it up and they said no- instead they said they’d bring it to me!!! AND DROVE IT OUT TO ME!!! A worker there used his own vehicle and brought me the naan bread!! I Love this place and they go above and beyond!

This place is pretty decent for Indian food, pleasently busy for a weekday lunch. The utensils they use for the buffet provides you with large portions, so I felt overwhelmed when trying a bit of everything. Many of the vegetable dishes were filling and tasty, but their samosas were unusually shaped. Paneer is always good in these buffets, and this restaurant is no exception. Their meat dishes were very generous as there were big pieces of fish and lamb, but the butter chicken was strangely sweet. Naan bread was thin and crispy, and cut to small but more manageable pieces for eating.Servers were very attentive with dirty plates, and they would be gone before I manage to set up another platter.Overall, you get decent value for your money, but they encourage repeat customers through loyalty cards, which may make me consider coming here again.

Something of a not so hidden treasure in Edmontons restaurant scene, Khazana is a reliable choice to satisfy each and every craving for Indian food. Their naan is among the best in town. Recommendation: Dal khazana.

WOW love to be here again . some of table they closed cause of social distancing COVID reason which is disappointing . huge place ,great atmosphere but we missed seat closer to fire palace. we will defiantly visit for that. thanks for your hospitality and the authentic Indian taste you brought.

It was the buffet when we went to eat.The person who helped us was very nice and explained that it was a buffet night.I got the Khazana beer which was super light and yummy.They had many option for food except for rice which they only had the yellow rice.But the butter chicken and the goat was nice and tender.They had a lot of salad choices and desserts.The mango pudding was my favourite.

Ordered dinner two days was just a disaster. I dnt knw why they try to blonde the authentic tastes. Just plain no taste at all. One word : trash

Khazana is an awesome place for a dinner date or get together with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is incredible and you get a lot for your money.The buffet was only $27 and there was a wide variety of food to choose from. The goat rogan josh and butter chicken here are the best I have ever had, hands down. The chai tea was also incredible.The staff are the real icing on the cake as they are all super friendly and helpful.

Had such a delicious meal at Khazana! The service was fantastic, our server was happy enough to offer suggestions and modifications for the vegan and gluten free person in our group! The portions were huge and they were ready to bring more rice and Naan as requested. The food was superb. And on top of all that the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Would 10/10 reccomend!

We are regular in ordering from south. Their Bernie mitten meme made us try their food. Delicious food. Looking forward to dine-in as we heard that they have good décor n warm ambience too.

This restaurant is not following Covid protocol. We were sitting in a corner to avoid people and they seated other group of 6 people right behind us. The other group was so close the that their chairs were touching our chairs. Some one need to tell them about social distancing and to keep the tables distanced.

Five of us met here at 6:30pm on a Friday night and were told we had to cram into the tea room area like a bunch of refugees while most of the restaurant which includes the only nice areas remained empty for a private party. This party didnt start until almost 9pm and still only took up a small area at the back of the restaurant.The service was terrible, especially once people started arriving for the party. It took us almost an hour to pay after we told the waiter we were finished and ready to go.Food was ok, but with everything going on I will never be back.

I came to this restaurant because I bought a Groupon at a discounted price. The restaurant is much better than I imagined. It is very spacious, and the decor is great. I was there around 1-2pm on a week day, and I was surprised to find that I was the only customer in such a big restaurant. I am sure people order take-outs, but I feel sorry that the pandemic seems to have seriously impacted their buniess. I ordered Tandooli Chicken Salad and Amritsari Fish. My dishes arrived within 10 minutes after I ordered. They are delicious, fresh and not too salty. The portion is good, I was full and packed half of my food home for another meal. The waiter is very friendly. I really like their solid wooden tables, but the surface is a bit sticky. Overall, I really enjoyed my gustatory as well as visual experience at Khazana.

Ordered take-out based on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed! Convenient location in downtown Edmonton. Online ordering on website works very smoothly. Very nice decor, lovely staff. I had forgotten to order rice and the fellow who waited on me gave me a small order for free. I had the Pakistani Kadi Murgh and it was fantastic -- flavourful, prepared well, hot but not burning. We will go back there for dinner, for sure.

Paneer tikka and chicken tikka were both tender and full of flavor.Mutton Roganjosh was perfect. Likewise for dal khazana and kofta.We will be back soon for another visit soon.

I love the food here! I has a craving Indian the first time in Edmonton and thought I would give place a try, the reviews seemed decent. We ordered Biryani, kebabs and a curry. The flavours were explosive! Ive tried a number of Indian restaurants in my life from around the world and this resto is sitting around the top of my list. Service was also really good.

Food was absolutely horrible. Garlic cauliflower was so bad that i cant explain. Chef should learn cooking . Such a great ambience nice and warm. They should improve their food quality. Naan bread was good. giving 1star for naan bread and ambience. Such a shame for that big name.

One of the best Indian restaurants Ive had the pleasure of dining at. Was pleasantly surprised by some of the East African influenced items (fried mogo, beef mishkaki, beef ribs) - Amazing!!

Honestly I have tried every platter here since the past 2 years, but my favorite remains to be Rajasthani Lamb and Kashmiri Roghan Josh. They are simple a class apart. The vegetarian section is also very good. Overall a great dining experience. Strongly recommended!

One of the best butter chickens Edmonton has to offer; authentic, creamy, rich sauce with tender pull-apart chicken.The Mango lassi was also sublime.The stuffed Naan was a treat too, have to admit was skeptical about stuffed Naan, but I may switch up my Naan order now sometimes given how tasty it was.Ordered takeout and was not disappointed.This will be my new favorite for that Indian comfort food experience Ive been looking for.

I am very happy to find this traditional and classy restaurant. Tandoori murgh and chicken tikka masala prepared by their chefs is a must try. I just loved the interior of this restaurant. Amazing!
