I had a wonderful purchase experience at Revolution Cycle. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Ben spent a good hour with me assessing the best options for me. He presented a couple of options that were available in store at the time, which isnt easy given that I required an XXL frame size. After that, we looked at what was on order and I ended up purchasing one on order. Luckily it only took about 1.5 months to arrive, which is better than most other bike shops which were telling me that 2022 was most likely for something in that frame size. Upon pickup, they walked through the whole bike with me as technology has changed quite a bit since my last bike purchase nearly 25 years ago. They also provided advice and recommendations on additional tools and accessories for me to look at in the future.Depending on your price point, there may not be a whole lot available in stock, but thats like any other bike shop at the moment. Speak with a sales associate and see what they have available on order as theyre always receiving product.

After months of waiting and cancelled orders (by the manufacturers), I was finally able to purchase a bike at Revolution. I found the staff knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. There was one hiccup that they made right and Im very grateful for Ken and Revolution Cycles professionalism. I was recommended by some friends to shop here and I can say with certainty I will be a loyal customer for years to come.Thanks to all the folks at Revolution Cycle!

Such good service. I went in there expecting to simply browse for bike helmets but after who I believe was the owner spent so much time and effort explaining all the different styles and types and making sure I could try on every one in my size I ended up purchasing one and I couldnt be happier with it. This place is worth supporting just for how excellent they treat you.

Aug 6, 2021 reply to Michael: Regarding the Presta valve, I think you may need to argue your point with Rocky Mountain. The ETSX70 had Presta valves installed on the rims at the time of purchase.The staple was the initial cause of the flat. After it was fixed, if I would have put any pressure on the tire before noticing it was still lodged in the tread, it would have popped again. You can debate this, but it’s wasting both of our time.I arrived through the service door entrance and stood at the service desk with a customer behind me when the repair guy clearly asked the guy behind me what he needed help with. I can appreciate your lack of faith in my review, and the argument of technical detail but I don’t see how that transfers into appreciating my business. I guess I shouldn’t assume first come, first served.The original tube that was replaced had a Presta valve on it. Now the bike has 2 different valves on it..I won’t comment on the “staple not being the cause of the flat” statement. Nice try though lolOn July 28, 2021 I went to Revolution Cycle to have my rear tire fixed after I picked up a staple on my travels. As I waited in line a repair guy walked right past me to ask the next customer in line what he needed help with. I thought maybe the repair guy knew the other customer and that’s why the other customer got the preferred service.After another 10min wait I was asked what I needed, I handed my tire over and it was fixed within 20min. During the 20min wait I explored the shop. I was looking for a new helmet and the shop wasn’t particularly busy at all, but no sales people offered to assist.When I arrived home I found that instead of replacing the tube with the same Presta type valve, it was replaced with a tube that was equipped with a Schrader valve. I didn’t mind so much but was annoyed that I wasn’t asked what my preference was. Anyway, while installing the rear tire back on my bike I noticed the staple that originally popped the tire was left in the tire. Glad I didn’t take it for a spin before noticing it was still lodged in the tread. My ride is an aging Rocky Mountain ETSX70 and I’ve been seriously considering a new ride. It will definitely not be from revolution cycle.

Best bike store in Edmonton.I have bought a few bikes over the years from Ben R. and it has always been a positive buying experience. He is friendly, listens to my needs and wants, professional, and very knowledgeable.The service department has been great, concerns are dealt with quickly and efficiently.I will always give Revo a chance to earn my business, and most of the time, they do.

Ken was a beauty to deal with today. Both my wife and I got bikes and couldnt be happier yo start riding them. He was great to deal with and provided me some advice of when to come back for studded tires for the winter. Great experience shopping there. I didnt feel like we were being significantly upsold anything we didnt need or want.

This was the first time I entered this store even though Ive driven by it so many times. I was greeted at the door and asked if I was looking for something specific. I personally like this approach as it shows they are interested in my business and I dont need to waste time getting to my objective. Of course, if I just wanted to browse, I have that option available. I was literally shocked by the size of the place and so many bikes and related accessories. I was introduced to Ken, who provided excellent service, took me downstairs to see what indoor smart cycle equipment they had (I dont want to spend $2800 on a Peloton when there other options for half the price and I get to ride my actual bike), unfortunately, new product will be available in a few weeks (hopefully it wont snow before they arrive but it is Edmonton). I will keep an eye on their website. Parking is available at the rear off the building.

She basically spent good 2.5 hours with me all along politely answering all my questions and helped me choose the right accessories too. I am going here for my next bike. Cannot will not step one millimetre out of there correct standpoint to provide you with squat, except a place to to take your money. Whats that? Bike shortage? cool. is there a attitude surplus that came in the sea-can instead? Whats that? NO before your even done asking a question. Whats that? other stores did this or that? SO WHAT! got there than, and so I did. MSG For life I guess. my gain.

Robert was an excellent sales person. 15+ years experience. Answered all my questions and then some, provided me with (better) options to compare and sold me a hell of a bike today.All covid stuff was good too with instructions of where to walk and hand sani out. All good.I literally said to my wife Im not buying today, just going to look within 30 mins we were at the till paying for the new bike and 1 hr later I picked it up. All of my questions and objections were handled very professionally and I was very pleased with the transaction.Robert even came to the parking lot to help me get the front tire off so I could load it into my SUV.I highly suggest seeing these guys for your next bike. We bought a brand new specialized rock hopper bike at Revolution this spring, and that was the last time any of their staff made any effort to approach us or speak to us when we have been in the store.Once the owner’s son had the cash in his pocket from the bike sale, we were completely invisible to him and it seems, to other staff.Today was the third time we have returned to the store with intentions to buy cycling accessories and after walking around the store for more than 15 minutes looking at things, and not being approached by one single staff person, (it was not busy) it’ll be the last time we deal with this establishment.Btw, when we left Revolution, we decided to stop in at Mud Sweat and Gears, a bike shop which is half a block away. . . We were greeted at the door upon entry by staff and approached by no less than four different staff people while we were in there shopping. If you have any questions or need help while you’re trying to purchase bikes or accessory’s, Revolution is not the place to go.

Solid reliable work. Service department is very dependable and knowledgeable. Service is in great demand, lots of space downstairs. Perhaps consider expanding for quicker turn around time for repairs.

Due to bing very short I drove 4 hours to find a bike that would fit me and my needs. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Jesse went above and beyond expectations to make sure it was perfect, especially since I couldn’t easily come back for a tune up. I highly recommend them!

The service is exceptional. We missed our 1 year free check up on my daughters bike due to COVID but after a crash the bike wasnt gearing up and down well. Revolution Cycle honoured the free check up even though we were a few months late and changed the cables to make it work. They are really helpful, knowledgeable and eager to help. Super impressed.

Update: went in there June 12/21, Chase set up my bike’s riding position just perfect. He took the time to assess what was needed, and then adjusted and modified with the tight parts. Revolution, your parts/service Team are awesome :-)REALLY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL PARTS & SERVICE :-)I phoned about a part and the guy went to check, then said “I have it right in my hand”. I stopped in and a fellow named Keith was really helpful, got me all sorted out with some extra parts, and with the help of one of the other Service reps, I was on my way. This is the second time I had a failure and they had me back on my bike on a very short turnaround. I would like to thank the service department...especially Quintin for the excellent service. I had an issue with my bike and MEC completely botched it. They couldnt fix it, and they gave it back with the fork on backwards. Brought it to Revolution and they had the issue resolved in a day. Awesome service here and friendly as well.

Ken was great, answered my questions and explained what I didnt know. Ending up spending more than I hoped but theres not a lot of places with any stock these days and I ended up getting a really great hardtail.

Bought a Scott strike 1 week ago online, nice costumer service give me knowledge and understanding about my ebike the day I picked up the bike.

I would like to thank Robert Cowman for the excellent service that he has provided me. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality without be very pushy. Even though I had a change of heart in terms of purchasing the bike I would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a bike to see him. If anyone is unsure of their own riding style or have simple questions in terms of what bike they need Robert is the guy! Hes very patient and accommodating and he explains all the technical details of the bike. Robert please keep up the great work and Revolution please give this man a raise!

Im an employee in another bike shop from Montreal QC and I needed a part (derailleur hanger) that the provider of my bike as well as all of our shops didnt have. The provider told me about Revolution cycle which had the exact part in stock. This morning I ordered it online and the shipping fees were exceeding the amount of my order which seemed unreasonable. Instead of not saying anything and giving them a bad review like many people do, I called them and they took excellent care of me. They shipped my parts directly after our conversation and refunded me the extra amount charged for shipping. Shops are run by humans who rely on technology and sometimes they makes mistakes just like you do. Let them know they made one and see how they fix it.

Went into the store after calling in and was met with a guy named Ben who was extremely aggressive. Although I understood what he said its not fun nor pleasant to be shouted at inside a store for the duration of your visit.

Message to anyone who writes a positive review with no constructive criticism or a negative experience, thats what a 5 star review is. Giving them a 4 star effects their rating, this is reserved for problematic experiences. I have had nothing but good experiences with Revolution cycle. I have purchased three bikes from them over the last five years, and have always had nothing but good things to say. Their staff are knowledgeable and willing to help.I have also used their service department multiple times over the last five years and the work has always been top notch. I have never felt pressured into anything which I did not require, and the prices are very fair.The fish tank is also a great distraction when I have the kids there!

Place is litterally always closed, other shops open from 7-9am these guys NEVER open before 11am 😂😂... if you have a full time job you likely wont be able to get in there so just take your business elsewhere

One of my favorite bike shops in the city. They went above and beyond this Christmas, working with my boyfriend to surprise me with my dream bike AND they even wrapped it in garland and put a bow on it! They are always nice and helpful, you wont regret coming here

Owner seems to be incredibly rude about small issues. Horrible customer service. Leaving notes on patrons of other businesses cars who aren’t parked in the marked areas despite the lot being covered in snow. If this is how an owner deals with small inconveniences in his day then I wouldn’t shop here. Also his response to many bad reviews is very telling.Reviews that are negative are repeatedly deflected as the reviewer being the problem. One example is the parking space issue. The owner clearly stated that the patron doesn’t own the parking space, but believes he is in the right to act as if he owns it. He deals with misaligned cars by passively aggressively parking too close and leaving notes on the car. Newsflash, you do not own the spot either.In addition, there are many reviews of broken items from this location, as well as poorly handled customer complaints. Seems like this owner has nothing better to do but harass patrons in the parking lot and respond to negative reviews.

I bought my Cube road bike from revolution after a couple visits to buy tubes for my other bicycle and a tool kit. Each time Ive been to the store the customer service experience has been great. Large variety of bike, parts, and accessories. Polite, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Revolution offers a free check up and service on the bikes they sell up to a year after purchase. The only draw back is its extremely busy this year due to the increasing interest in cycling so there can be a long line out front due to covid 19 regulations. There is a staff member outside to answer any questions before yoy get inside the store to helpbwith efficiency once you get inside the store you are served with care and attention so its worth the wait. If you are waiting for the parts department you can usually get fast tracked through the line up outside.

I bought a Scott 720 Scale here in the summer...went for a total of 4 rides around the neighborhood and the bottom bracket fell apart...mever been off road or anything. I took it in and they said they would phone me when it was ready, should be next day. I waited but no call. A week went by and I phoned, they said the frame was faulty and they ordered a new one. A month went by no call. I phoned and they said there was shipping delays. I asked for a refund and they said store policy was no refund. I waited another month. I had to phone them and they said the same thing! I said the riding season is over and I never got to use my bike at all!! I want a refund! I just left another message. These guys made no effort at all to make things right in this special circumstance. I have reported them to the better business bureau. I paid $1800 for absolutely nothing. How would you feel in my situation?

People who work here are not mechanically inclined. They sprayed brake grease on our pads not on the backs then would not own up to nit knowing how it was supposed to be used. They charged us for pads that had not been contaminated. On top of this we had to bring the bike back for a recall on the hub. It took them months to get the part In and ended up bringing in the wrong part. Amazing to deal with when your buying but they are two faced when it comes to warranty. Sad because I chatted with the owner before we bought the bike and he seemed like a good guy then was lieing to my little brothers face about these things because he was a kid and he was not going to talk back. Great selection of bikes just take them somewhere else if you need work done and just return the bike if you have problems right away it is not worth dealing with them.

This has been my bike shop for years for purchase, repairs, maintenance and upgrades. When the AWOL I wanted couldnt be found in North America in my size (small), they helped me build one even better for an equivalent cost. The have excellent ride groups that are inclusive and are very supportive of women in the sport. Additionally, they dont judge my lack of knowledge of components or total skill in destroying them. Recently, I have been so thankful for their comprehensive health and safety policy. For a time during this pandemic my elderly parents confined themselves with us. Our only family outings were to bike and we needed some parts. I felt totally comfortable after reviewing their policys. Because of them we were able to continue doing something we love and getting a small slice of normal. I understand people are using this platform to downrate them exclusively because of their health and safety policys, I ask the public to please read the comments and inform themselves as to the reason behind a batch of low ratings. This is an excellent bike shop for all types of riders and our family highly recommend them.

Called to talk to whoever my Dad was dealing with on his recent ebike purchase. Whoever answered the phone was rude and said he never heard of my dad or brother. He refused to help me find out and hung up on me. Shocked and amazed at the one star attitude.

Just wanted to give the team at Revo a shout out for their awesome customer service and bike servicing. Ive been an avid cyclist for like 24 years and never rode in the winter. They sold me on some studded winter tires and a light and its opened up a whole aspect of the sport I wish I would have started a long time ago. Night riding and winter riding in the river valley is amazing. I also had to replace my drive train because Ive logged some serious riding on the Stumpjumper they sold me a couple years ago. This place is like a toy store. Too many cool products. Shout out to Jesse, Ben, Dennis, Keith, Syd, and Jeff for all the great service over the years! Local bike shop is very popular, and for good reason. The staff are friendly and will help you find what you’re looking for. There can be a lot of people, and customer service may be slow but they will help you. They have a massive selection of bike brands and price points. The actual building is very nice and well maintained.

Bought a Salsa gravel bike mid-Covid and was super impressed with their level of service. Personal shopper was super patient and helped find me the perfect commuter. Tried some of the commuter bikes upstairs, then he recommended the more touring style bikes in the basement that were way more fun to ride and were totally what I was looking for! Then they continued to offer great advice while kitting out the bike with pedals and accessories. They had a decent selection of accessories despite supply chain challenges, whoever does the ordering is no doubt working hard to bring things in during the pandemic!

First time visit, my friend referred me to Rev and I was impressed with the really great service and friendly staff. I very much expected to wait a while as it was very busy and obviously they have covid restrictions in place so things did take a bit longer than usual. But all in all, I left a very happy customer. I recently purchased a Cannondale Habit 3. I hadnt really looked into these bikes prior to buying this one. I must say it has surpassed my expectations. Haven’t had experience with service there but when I have come in for specific parts or sealant they’ve been great. Have just what I need, like bars or cassettes and more for better better prices than I have been able to find. The owner of revolution cycle is absolute human garbage. Clearly there is not enough space beside my car - and he/she continuously arrives after me and traps me in. I could barely squeeze into my car again. The spot beside me isn’t his/her designated spot- they could park anywhere else in the vast parking lot. As a business owner with your logo on your car, it blows my mind how they park their car without any consideration for other people. Please Take this into consideration the next time you think about giving this business more money.There is so much snow on the ground and the parking lines are not visible. So I was a little more to the edge - you could park your giant gas guzzling truck somewhere else as there wasn’t enough space beside my golf. You get over yourself Revolution Cycle. 🙃

Not sure I would go anywhere else now! Ive stood around kicking tires at other places, with no help to be found (their loss). Revolution Paired me with a rep as I walked through the door. Jeff was awesome, knew his stuff (and if he didnt know something, he had a knowledgeable team he used). Ive had a couple others help me there too - ALL fantastic! Even after-sales, they make sure youre still happy (vs take the money and run). For all that and more, Ill be back again and again. I 110% recommend RC 👌

While I was in, store declined to serve a customer who rudely refused to wear a mask while lying about having a medical exemption. THANK YOU for prioritising the health of your customers. Highly recommend this store.

Awesome bike shop for all your needs and great prices. I recommend this bike shop over any in the Edmonton area, and during this Covid pandemic they have been on the ball with cleaning and making everything safe for all their customers. Great job guys !!!!! Keep up the great work.

Was forced to wear as mask despite advising staff I cannot wear a mask and have a medical exemption. Was told exemptions in Edmonton have been removed. After educating staff exemptions are indeed in place and showed them on Alberta website was still demanded to wear a mask. I havent had issues anywhere else in Edmonton. Wont be supporting this business.

Smaller place, but very great service. These guys work for your business. They know hardcores already know what they want, and are great at shifting newbies to quality. A very friendly place. I would go there even if they cost more, but they are very competitively priced. Very professional. Very friendly, but most bike shops are.

Absolutely amazing shop!! One of my fav shops in the city. Whenever I need a unique part for my old bike, they have it when nobody else does! Love that they have the used bike section as that seems to always have a quick turn around. Sick staff with some spicy bikes!! Stop by for sure. The A.C is also nice lol

Absolutely great place to buy a bike. They have a huge selection and a fantastic staff to get you what you need and not try to oversell you something beyond your budget. I dealt with Levi and he was incredibly helpful and considerate to my wife and I, and the whole team made buying and shipping the bike easy and painless. Hats off to Revolution Cycle. Well be back.

The gentlemen in the back running parts and service have outstanding customer service and helped me figure out what strange freewheel tool I needed for my 50 year old Peugeot road bike.Who else can do this?

The service guys really came through for me today. I went in there for a winter tire change and also mentioned that the basket I bought from here wasnt able to hold the weight of my (actually very heavy) purse, but the build of my bike doesnt support any other design of basket or rack. So instead of shrugging it off, they put their heads together and rigged up the basket I had so that it could work for me after all. Thanks guys!!
