Probably the best furniture and home accessory place in the world. They have beds, couches, appliances, cutlery, bedding, curtains, dishes etc. Anything you need they have even complete cabinet sets for kitchens. I was impressed with the setup and organization of the establishment. 2 separate restaurants inside for food with seating included and kind of cafeteria style you could say. Bathrooms and floors exceptionally clean with lots of staff to assist you. Place downstairs to baby sit the kids as well. Pickup stalls outside for quick pickup of orders as well with numbering to speed the process up. Returns are done very efficiently and if any missing components they will give you downstairs and extras such as cabinet bumpers and hardware for free. Awesome place to check out if you are looking for stuff related to your interior of the house for affordable prices!!

This is the best place to buy furniture and any other home needs, the variety is so much and the price is simply great to buy at. The best of this store that I love is they set up the whole space so well and it really gives you so many ideas to set up your own space much creatively at a very affordable price, each time I visit I pick up so many great ideas. Also, the restaurant is awesome, youll enjoy eating after having walked so much all through the store. A must visit store

We ventured off to IKEA this weekend as our son needed a dresser drawer and thought we would have breakfast on site. We were surprised that breakfast was not offered 😬 so we ended up ordering meals for lunch at 10am 😶We ordered Butter Chicken, Meatballs and Fish and Chips!It was good but heavy for breakfast.After eating we walked around the store and was surprised that parts of the store was under construction.We did find a dresser and a few other items that we needed and checked out.The store was clean in places and there were hand sanitizer at the entrance.

Every year or two I get in a visit to IKEA. We went to check out a couple of chairs for the family room. We walked for some time before stumbling across the chairs. But by then we were looking for table lamps instead. My wife had a tendency to get turned around even though there are arrows on the floor that can keep you moving somewhat in the direction of the checkouts. We found the lamps and they were alright and a good price. Somehow we ended up with a half dozen flower pots as well. The place was packed and a tad warm but all in all a successful shopping trip. But that place is so confusing to walk through. I wonder how the employees find their way to work in the morning.

Ikea is always a great shopping experience. They have a set up a room honouring Aboriginal lifestyles that was beautiful.

One can spend hours and hours here. Many nifty trending furnishings and easy to assemble. Some great decorative styling ideas for smart modern home 🏡and meeting your workout goals by hitting that step count is a bonus 👍 dont skip the As-is section 😀

Ikea has very lovely affordable home wares, appliances, furnitures, and fine decor flowers, got some flowers for bathroom and furniture for our small home office space.We found this lovely, affordable, portable home office table that fits perfectly into the space we have, the table fits so well 29inch in width, it came with a detached side drawer that we didnt pick cos of our space, we just picked only the table which was very portable and lovely 😀😊. The table cost $69.99.It was fun shopping as we had alot of selections, though it made us walk the whole building, and that was tiring but fun, Ikea in south common is quite big so if you have the time and want to enjoy your shopping experience, make sure to check out everything in all the sections. 😊👌.

Large store but still very crowded most of the time. Typical IKEA store, nothing fancy. Staff members that we talked were not that customer focused and and had no much interest in answering questions. Either not trained or bad attitudes. Pretended they are very busy “arranging” the store. The meatballs were the highlight at the restaurant!

I have had good experience here both with the customer service and products purchased.I have also had a nice experience with return and refund even when I had lost my receipt.You will find good and competitively affordable products here. I have bought items for the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms without complaints.It may however be worth simplifying products assembly process. This is mostly complicated and needs improvement.

Selection at this Ikea is very average. They are almost always low on inventory and don’t have the similar stock to the Calgary location. Their plant section is quite nice but their inventory range is limited.

Everything you could want at a good price. Treats are yummy as well. Nothing like a hotdog after a few hours shopping.

Pretty nice store. It’s really busy there and there was a line to get in, I’d put my money that they had no actual control of the amount of people in the store and wouldn’t be able to answer truthfully If they were asked that directly. The store didn’t have a shortage of staff but there was no one cleaning everything everyone touched. The bathrooms were cleaned but the store itself had a million things that’s couldn’t be touched because everyone else was touching them. I give them a failing grade for only supplying hand sanitizer but no instructions for the patrons to touch only the things were serious about buying.

Good, only wish I didnt have to tour the entire store just to find one item that was back on the main floor. Well at least I got my steps in.

Good place to buy stuff for nice arrangement of things, the prices are reasonable. I got a storage closet for 10 bucks. It was totally worth it. There is do much stuff thats useful and at good prices. The only problem is its in outskirts of the city. Takes a day to check out all the Ikea

See something you like, walk up to it, realize it’s not in stock, repeat. Is this even a real store? Nothing is in stock, but it’s all still on display so you can… waste your time looking at stuff you can’t buy? I don’t even know. I found myself laughing at the sheer number of out of stock items. It literally feels like a joke. Don’t waste your time.

Bought the Hemnes bed, along with the mattresses to with it. Was able to locate them with the help of a staff member. I was a lil anxious about putting this bed together myself, however it went very smoothly with very lil mistakes! My daughter loves her new bed!

Great place to shop all your home furniture. Service is great. Followed all COVID rules diligently including occupancy limit, often sanitation, mandatory mask wearing. Delicious tasting cheese pizza & veggie dog. But fountain drinks are tasteless. Feels like drinking sugar drink with no CO2 & extreme light flavour.

We found an excellent table and chairs there that was fairly easy to assemble even though I was alone.

We’re normally huge fans of IKEA, so we visit every so often when we’re in town.The store layout is good, lots of good products, and great selection. But, almost half the items we wanted were out of stock.The few employees that we were able to find were able to help us find other products, but we were left pretty disappointed with our last visit.

We have visited this Ikea several times over the years while in Edmonton from out of town. We have always had a positive experience, both prior and now during the pandemic. The staff are always very helpful - the place is tidy and well organized and we have never had to wait very long at the cash!

Ikea is a great store with some pretty good deals. However, our experience at the food court today evening was not that great. Just because its cheap doesnt mean you serve Mac and Cheese and Fries a kids size when we ordered a large. She literally put two scoops and flattened it with the scoop itself. Fries were kids size when we had ordered a large. It needs to be monitored better.

Ordered kitchen cabinets and cupboards beginning of June. We were told we would have to wait until mid June for the rest of our order. We came in end of June to exchange a few items and were told mid July now for the rest of our order due to global supply shortages. Called today July 31st and we’re told our order had been canceled with no reason given.However we could pick some of our items today to try to get this complete kitchen installed.Arrived at the store as customer service ordered ahead for us. We picked up a few more pieces and wanted to order the rest of our items but the department was closed at 1900 hrs.I asked to speak to a Manager as I wanted to know what was going to be done for this delay and who canceled our order and why.A person arrived and identified himself as a Manager and told us there was nothing that can be done or could be done. He said the customer service person we talked to on the phone was in Montreal and had no idea what goes on at this store. I asked for his name and he strongly refused after he said all we could do was send an email to head office. I said I wanted his name for the email and once again he strongly refused to give his name.This experience has been less than favourable and I would suggest anyone else wanting to use this location be very wary. Customer service at the store level whether trying to return an item or ordering items is less than adequate. If it isn’t on the shelf or in the warehouse I would suggest not ordering it and having to avoid this kind of treatment. I know we will only have spent over $4000.00 here but one should be able to get better treatment whether it’s a $5 purchase or $5000. We are now at the stores mercy as we have half our kitchen installed and can’t turn back now or there would be a pile of slightly used cupboards and cabinets at the entrance in the morning.We are stuck but hopefully this review will help you before you enter into a project with IKEA.

You can almost every house hold items.Prices are reasonable and lots of products are durable. Easy to assemble at home and ready to use. Products are simple and unique.Kitchen items are also available with reasonable prices. One day is not enough to explore the whole store.

Love going there they have so many options to choose from. Fantastic return policy!! Doesnt matter if the stuff is put together or no boxes they take it back.

IKEA has $1 breakfast on Sunday Which is very cheap. Food court is the best part for me. Wide collection of ready to pick foods. However, there’s also long queue to pick food. Food court lights and area are very decorative. Kids friendly. Some playing tools are there. I love the way they display all furniture for bedroom, living room, dining and so on. It’s help to decorate own home! Kitchen items collection is great and reasonable price. Wide variety of kids games and tools. Easy to find gift items for kids with affordable price. This big store is neat and clean always. Staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. Washrooms are clean. However I don’t like the way they set up “exit”. There’s no shortcut to exit from this store which prevents me to go there when I am in rush. Recommend others to try this store.

Furniture selection is excellent, and meatballs are tasty in-store. But OH BOY cooking them at home is a whole different story... my stomach was not a fan.

I have shopped here for many years and have always enjoyed the service and products. When I got married 30 years ago my wife and I bought 2 tall Billy shelves with the pine veneer and we still have them today. IKEA makes good quality furniture and household items for a reasonable price. A lot of what we have in our house comes from IKEA.The restaurant at IKEA is great. Good food for a great price. I have the Salmon dish a lot and for $8.99 it is a fantastic price. We love this place and will continue to come here for a great meal and friendly service.

It is usually always busy here but there is lots of parking in the huge lot. The one-way shopping idea is great in the fact that everyone keeps moving in the same direction. Only downfall is if it gets too congested and/or you encounter slower shoppers. However everyone is usually friendly so its always a great experience. Lots of selections, many beds have gone out of stock for some reason however. We still managed to get the one we wanted. I really like the idea of selecting a product and then heading to the Isles to find the bin location and grabbing the product off the shelf. Very convenient and fast. Very organized. The checkouts can get a little cramped at the end if there are big lines. The products are always fast and easy to install and the directions are very simple to understand. Plus i really love building things! Really good quality too. I have shopped here for many years and have not had many bad experiences. The prices on some things are maybe a bit overpriced but then again it is some pretty good quality and craftsmanship.

I dont know what the deal is but this is our second week here in a row and so many things are out of stock. For example a lot of the wall art, standing mirrors, fitted and flat sheets, sheet sets, so many things were not in stock for 2 weeks straight. Such a waste of time driving all the way there and back.

Easy parking, There are electrical charger stations for electric vehicles. Inside IKEA, you have to walk around to get your stuff, not convenience at all.

I was constantly harassed and followed by employees to put a mask on even when I am exempt I will no longer shop at this store, we bought merchandise but were still harassed, will not support any local or any business whatsoever who pushed mask mandates and vaccine mandates end of story

Three stars for the quality of the things, parking, staging, for IKEA in general. Zero stars for things never in stock at the Edmonton branch, and mediocre customer service. If you have been to other IKEA stores, you’ll find the Edmonton branch never has anything in stock. They conveniently forget to change the in-stock sticker (which is misleading). Is everything being stocked in Ontario? Seriously!Well, good for other business’.

You can find decent furniture and virtually any household item here especially if youre on a budget.

I had recently gutted my kitchen and replaced my kitchen cabinets with ikea cabinets. The cabinets were replaced at a cost of $5784.35. When it came time to look at countertops I had received a few quotes. Lowe’s and ikea were closely matched but ikea had a 15% discount at the time and ikea was around $500 less than the Lowe’s quote. I decided to go with the ikea counters and on that date I made a payment of $2967.56 which was the “quote” I received from ikea. During the transaction an employee mentioned to my wife and I that ikea may have over or underquoted slightly and if it was over slightly that I would be required to pay the remaining balance. The next step was to have the kitchen templated so that the counter could be crafted to the specific dimensions of our kitchen. After the templating we were informed that there would be an additional 2823.70 +GST. We had asked for an extra 10’ of quartz backsplash which we were ready to spend a few extra dollars on however the remaining cost was nearly double what ikea had quoted. My wife and I attended ikea in hopes of getting this blunder resolved. While explaining our situation to ikea, it was clear that holding them accountable was not going to be achievable. There were several employees present, but so was the employee/manager, Tyson, who had been responsible for the quartz quote initially.Tyson made numerous false allegations regarding the measurements of the island overhang, which should have been for 12” but since he neglected to account for that in the quote, he tried saying it was never discussed. There was a 51” coffee nook, separate from the rest of the counter but had 4 drawers set at counter height. This was from the design that ikea planned/created. Tyson completed neglected to incorporate this into his quote and alleged it was never mentioned. Having had 3 estimates, all in the span of a day or two, I’m certain that I had made the layout abundantly clear. All this being said, it was clear that ikea was more interested in playing the “blame game” than resolving their blunder. My wife and I began discussing the option of a full refund. Ikea refused to process a refund at the time, indicating that they would need to discuss with the quartz manufacturer first…This is important to mention, because the process for a quartz countertop is this. After the templating is done, if the quote is accurate, they begin manufacturing and you receive the counter in approximately 3 weeks. I was told from the stone company that if they underquote, that the counter would not be crafted until I returned to ikea, pay the remaining balance and ikea confirms with the stone company that additional payment was made. This would result in further delays because the 3 week crafting process would not begin without full payment. At this point, my wife and I just wanted our money returned and we would go find business elsewhere from one of the other quotes. Tyson wanted to hold onto our money until he spoke to the counter people first. This contradicts their process. Then we discussed the option of returning our credit without us being present, to save us the hassle of returning to ikea, dealing with further wastes of time and fuel costs. This request was not gaining any traction either. At this point I expressed my displeasure with the whole customer service experience and indicated that I would do exactly what it is I’m doing now…the response I got from Tyson, who I believe is a manager “threatening me isn’t going to get you anywhere…” After his statement I clarified the difference between a fact and a threat, but at that point I had no interest in speaking with Tyson any further.I’m not sure what discusses me more. A big box company that somehow manages to throw a quote off by DOUBLE and refuses to correct the issue in any way… Or a manager (Tyson) who thinks the appropriate way to deal with a discouraged customer is to accuse him of making a threat when he expresses that he’s going to document this encounter in a review…don’t buy from here 0 stars

As an explorer, heres my spin...Big box shopping, what can you say about it? It was quite busy there and trying to get someone to help you out will eat up the time waiting in a queue if you are in a rush. My suggestion is to look in a catalog, measure at your own house and then compare at the warehouse, it will make your life happier.

I went to ikea to get a new kitchen. Almost everyone there was so helpful. They helped me design the kitchen completely, and told me that when I pick up the boxes at the Click and Collect Pick up and Collection points, I would get help withloading them, so I decided to pick them up alone assuming I would be helped. Surprisingly the lady in charge was not helpful at all and very rude. I had around 110 individual boxes to carry and when I asked for a hand, the lady mentioned that they only help with “big loads”. I asked her to define what a “big load” means and she said that they are items you cant carry alone.... On top of that, she was rushing me to carry the boxes outside the store because her shift was about to end and she wanted to leave. The only help she gave me was to advise me that I should return the items I bought simply because I expressed that it was impossible for me to load 110 boxes alone, although they explicitly told me that I would get help loading the items when I bought them! I doubt she would’ve gave me this advice if it was her own personal business. So not only was I left alone to carry 110 pieces, I was also rushed to do it within 10 minutes because of her unprofessional customer service. Only one nice worker named Chris offered to help me when he saw me struggling. Without him I couldnt have made it. So from my experience, If you have any back problems never order a kitchen from ikea unless you’re willing to carry 100s of boxes by yourself.I will rethink my decision a thousand times if I ever decide to buy from IKEA again..

Great place to shop for home furniture, plants and place to eat, you to be able to walk longer distance but theres elevator from main floor to 2 level.

I went to IKEA with the plans of buying one item for my KALLAX bookshelf. However, once I was at the store I was able to find so much more. I got two fake plants which I was very excited about. They were a variegated string of hearts and an albino monstera. Both plants that I would be terrified to own live for fear of killing them. I also was able to get a new lamp to attach to my bedframe for when I want to cross stitch at night or read. The kitchen items I purchased were replacements for some other items I had originally bought from IKEA over a decade ago(wooden spoons and spatulas). There were a number of people in the store even when I went there but everyone was fairly friendly and didnt cause any issues.

The gentleman at the front door was super nice we came just as they were closing however he let us through (I hated being that person) but we did know the exact isle and bin we needed to go to so it was a quick in and out. He let us in as we were in a rush back to Vancouver island which dosent have an ikea! He saved the day and made us very happy. Very happy with the service here.

We have always been big fans of IKEA and always bought furniture from there but as of recently they changed one of their parts from metal to some cheap plastic which breaks very easily. I bought a bookshelf less than a week ago and after 2 days I returned it because the plastic pieces kept breaking. Hopefully they can bring back the metal pieces in order to keep their very good reputation of IKEA products.

Nice that theyve got the arrows directing you on the floor, otherwise I think I might have gotten lost.I like how the staged kitchens, and bedrooms have sq. Ft listed so youve got an idea of what your looking at.Takes a solid hour or two to peruse the store, but makes a good trip and lots of new ideas.

I hadnt been since before COVID and was pleasantly surprised that it didnt feel too full; did go right away in the morning until lunch. Sadly a few items not in stock, but that is reality everywhere right now.

Click and collect was the best $5 Ive ever spent. Drive right up and was gone with in 5 minutes of showing up with the purchase. Good work Ikea.

Understaffed and they spent more time chitchatting than helping customers (I could overhear the conversations it was not work related).And somehow the cafeteria at the exit ran out of hot dogs, and gave me barely warmed over ones. Hot dogs are their staple food to my knowledge, and cinnamon buns.

Hundreds & Thousands of varieties , lots of choices , way cheaper then the other furniture stores in Edmonton, There is always from the lowest price to the most expensive items ‭are always available at IKEA. Good for families who newly Moved to Canada for there family needs like furnitures & kitchen utensils and home needs, quality is worth for the money, they can save some money by shopping from IKEA., Great Place . An affordable place to buy furniture. We usually go there to buy ice cream, chocolate, and kids toys. The only problem, they dont sell halal food. With the new restrictions due to covid19, store is very hard to visit comfortably. Last time we visited the store, there was a very long line more than 100 m long. Kids play area was very good but now it is closed. Also, food court is closed. Food court wad one of the great characteristics of Ikea. I wish everything goes well and go back to normal by the end of this Summer.

Mostly pleasurable. An item upstairs was not marked as out of stock which was a little frustrating. Also when approaching a staff member regarding where Area B was they were unsure and we had to walk around until we found it. Otherwise it was fine, large line up outside was moved quickly and efficiently.
