Even consider adopting one, please do!I adopted a kitten here back in September 2014, it was Saturday adoption day. His name was Tony the Tiger at the time. I changed his name to Moose due to losing a cat named Tiger recently then. Fast forward to January 2021, & hes one of the happiest, healthiest cats weve ever had. Im more than happy we adopted Moose from here a few years ago.

I normally dont leave reviews, but I had the pleasure of receiving assistance from Terry. He was on the ball and went out of his way for me, he went above and beyond. I bought a 75 gallon tank and he helped me from picking out everything I would need to helping me load it up. Its not every day or month you get good help. Im writing this a month later (because I spaced it) and I still remember his name. I hope they take care of him as good as he took care of me.

This location is kind of meh.They have a wide variety of dog and cat toys, treats and accessories. Their prices run a little higher than other pet stores in the area. The store is usually clean and organized. The staff is okay, overall they seem friendly but you do need to hunt for someone if you need assistance. Sometimes theres a fairly long line (5+ customers) to check out. I have never seen more than one register open with other staff members standing around having side conversations.I have not used their vet or grooming services.I would reccomend going somewhere else for fish or exotic animal supplies. They have a limited selection. Their fish variety is limited and the tanks seem kind of dirty. The equipment seems like it needs an upgrade.I would return because the location is really convenient and they do have some cheaper seasonal deals on dog toys.

Unfortunately, it was a little understaffed for a very busy night, but even though it was understaffed I was still met with amazing and friendly customer service! The store was very well kept, everything was super easy to find, and when they noticed the lines were getting long they were able to open up another register to get us out quicker. Definitely love coming here all the time!

Friend had to go look for basketball muzzle for her dog..they did not have any small enough for him. They were very helpful there.

I took my dog to have her nails trimmed and her ears cleaned. ($16). They were very good to her and did a great job. They were aware of her discomfort and tried not to make her any more uncomfortable than necessary.

One of the vets came out and talked with me for a long time. I learned a lot from him. The staff was wonderful. My puppy loved them too!

They were so compassionate and they treated my dog with such respect when they laid her to rest I am so thankful

Its the last week of August and theyre taking walkins for basic grooming services. No call ahead necessary. I have two dogs, and even being third in line we were still out in less than 30 minutes. These ladies are super heroes!

Could have a better fish selection. Tanks a little over priced. Wide selection of dog food. Nice well priced dog food. Not very good decor for fish tanks

The greatest employees! All are so kind more than willing to help. Not often you go into a store in need of product and they stop at what they are doing to help you, at that with a smile. Needed supplement for my sweet dog. They always have everything you need, well stocked and to boot clean store. Petsmart made my day! They priced matched what I needed so I got two. Cant say enough! Employees always smile, talk with you makes you want to stay. We love our animals extremely high priority and Petsmart feels the same. My girl lickin her chops because Petsmart had her favorite treats too.

Ran on down to PetsMart to get a dog bed for my huge dog. It was busy and a little hard to find an employee. They were all helping others. I totally understand.The beg was on the very top shelf. I found an employee asking how to help. He was quick to get the ladder and help me with it.He had such a great attitude. I had a nice conversation with the cashier as I left. Definitely a great store.

Decent selection of pet accessories. My only complaint here is that they only ever have one or 2 registers open and the cashiers are slow as can be. Theres always a line and it always takes a ridiculous amount of time to check out.

They have a basically dead and very sick turtle on the sales floor. How can the managers of this store be so blatantly neglectful of animals when PetSmart’s entire ethos is to be the “trusted partner?” Their incompetency in the care for exotic animals in their store is ringing out loud here. The entire management team has to do “walks” 3 or 4 times a day. THIS SHOULD NEVER BE THE CASE, take this poor animal to the vet. This would be a 1 star if possible. I’d also post a picture if it weren’t so gruesome.

We went to look into adopting a family kitten for our 2 year old. We filled out application was told no one was interested in this particular one and to expect a phone call within the next 2 days. We never heard anything so I called male I spoke to said he would text Heather and have her call me, still no call. I called the next day was told to call the next day around 1:30 that Heather would be there. I called back finally got an answer then was put on hold forever waiting for Heather to answer. She informs me that this kitten had already been adopted out. They didnt even have the decency to call and tell us so we were very disappointed. IShe said she was sorry and that she dont know who was there Saturday it wasnt her. I will never deal with them again! It broke our hearts and my son got along so well with the kitten

Good place to get anything you may need for your pets. The only reason Im giving it only 3 stars is because the couple times theyve groomed my pups, they cut my oldest Boston Terriers nails too short and caused him to bleed because they cut into the quick each time. Hes the most calm dog too. Ive taken my dogs to 3 other groomers and thats never happened anywhere else. I would recommend this place for dog food, treats, and toys. Just take your pups somewhere else for grooming!

Wasnt too crowded on this Christmas Eve 2020. Multiple selections for all pets. Friendly check out associate. All in all a good shipping experience.

Friendly, helpful, willing to answer questions, love there is a vet there. The groomers are fantastic. Very clean and staff are very safety aware. There are some things that are pricey, but for the most part they are affordable.

Krystal H did an amazing job on my almost 12 yr old girl today! They always do a good job with her. She looks and smells amazing. I always get the furminator brushing and all of her undercoat is almost gone! LOVE the groomers at this location!

PetSmart is a great option for people who want to go to one place for all their pet needs. They offer grooming, training, veterinary services, along with pet supplies. If you join their Treats program, you get a much better value. If you dont, it does tend to be a little bit more expensive in the store part but the classes and grooming are standard pricing. I only really have experience with dog side of things, but I appreciate PetSmart because we have moved a few times and I am able to always find a PetSmart and the care for my dogs is easy to transfer to another store and takes a little bit of the stress of moving away. Shannon is a great trainer, Lori, Jaiden, and Krystal are our favorite groomers, and Dr. Kassandra Smith is a very attentive and caring vet part of the Banfield Pet Hospital located inside the PetSmart.

We made an appointment to have our pup groomed and for a nail trim. We get a call a couple of hours before the appointment, telling us that the groomer didn’t come to work today so they need to reschedule our appt. I appreciate that they called but I don’t like that they were unwilling to make any accommodations to get us in this week. They offered to get us in during the middle of the day any day this week. Well I have a job so that doesn’t work. They refused to help us get in next weekend, even for just a simple nail trim. I spoke to Terry and while he was friendly, he was not at all helpful when it came to helping us out. We found another local shop that agreed to take care of our pup today. I wish Petsmart would have made an effort to keep our business.

I dont like that they got rid of the tall 4 shelf thing in the front with all their clearance items bc not only were they on clearance they also gave mr another 50% off the clearance price. Now I have to go to petco to get those prices. Sorry petsmart!

Great staff, highly professional and up to date on what products are safe/unsafe. An employee told me a product I was about to purchase was being recalled. I am so thankful I was informed. I was trying to buy different treats for my pup. Needless to say, I was impressed with their honesty and integrity. You can tell all the employees care about the health of their current and future clientele. I can say I will be returning to this location.

I’m hit or miss with the grooming salon. More positive experiences until this last time. Took our 13 year old, disabled Schnauzer in, gave instructions on what to look out for - picked him up and he has 3 OPEN wounds from the groomer. That’s just ridiculous!! They do fine following instructions on my two year old Siberian Husky, but could care less about our little old man and his needs.

So much cheaper than the pet store on the other side of the road, better help, cleaner, friendly. Like doing my shopping here. On our way home with my sons first fish.

It would be nice if the groomers would follow the customers instructions. Ive been bring the same dog there for 11 years. I ALWAYS tell them not to brush out my dogs tail. The last three times, I have picked her up and her tail is brushed out and looks like it belongs on a black squirrel. Screw it up one more time and Im finding new groomers for both my dogs. I guess they lost all the good groomers to COVID-19 or to better paying places.

Went in to look for some joint supplements for our elderly pup. Wow! Soooo many options it was a bit hard to choose from. Spent an hour looking at the colossal amount of dog treats. Spent $85.00......thats the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. A bit on the high side, but totally stocked!

Got live crickets. These employees are so great. Love love love them. I just had surgery so I called and asked if they could have 15 to 20 crickets ready for me.. and the woman said absolutley no problem. We will have them ready for you. I just appreciated that so much. They are just a great team there at petco!!

I dropped my dog off and the lady that took care of my Sierra. She was very professional and she took really good care of my moms dog. Sisi was a little feisty when she was getting her nails trimmed but she calmed down really quick. I will definitely go back to the lady her took care of her for now on. She was the lead of the team. I really wish I knew her name. But she was very sweet and very good with Sisi.

PetSmart is of course very pet friendly. Great selection of products and helpful staff. The reason I give them four stars and not five is price. Pets tend to be very expensive, but Im sure there is a bit of markup due to their niche.

I took my multipoo for grooming in December. When I picked her up her eyes looked irritated and a lil red and raw around her snout. Next day when we got up her eyes were so swollen and watering and she had a raw bloody spots around her snout. It continued to get worse each day. I don’t know what they did and I never called because after reading other reviews it’s clear it’s a continued pattern. My baby will never go to another pet smart especially the one in greenwood. Terrible shame.It’s been almost two months and her snout it healed but her eyes especially the right one still has issues.

I think it’s crazy to keep cats in a cage and only adopt for a few hours. Fill out a form ? 3 hours to adopt and most people are at work 1:00 to 3:00. Buying a cat is about as bad as buying a hand gun lol

You cleaned up around her eyes (which we haven’t clearly seen in a year) and left the perfect amount of hair on her body. Banfield pet hospital was a horrible experience. I walked up and Michelle the practice manager was at the front. She greeted me and asked how she could help... once I pulled out my prescription for dog food. She said the girl behind her on the phone would be right with me. 5 minutes later the girl got off the phone and looked at me. She did not say anything and then the phone rang she took that call. I was never helped and walked away. Horrible experience and horrible customer service.

Most employees are helpful, like Tyler. I called about an item and an hour later when I got there he recognized me by the item I was purchasing. Granted not everyone goes in for the cone of shame for their dog. Lol It works very well and my destructive dog hasnt destroyed it yet.

The people are great, the selections pretty good, and their clearance always has some gems in there, and you can bring your dogs with, plus there are other cute dogs walking through while youre there, put a Starbucks and McDonalds inside and it might almost be heaven!

All the fish tanks are dirty. The bird enclosures are dirty. Snakes dirty.. You guys should be ashamed. Everywhere I looked it was dirty. Go into Petco and it doesnt look like this at all which tells me its just a petsmart thing to not clean. Poor animals. Making people feel bad for leaving an animal in here isnt how you should be selling them.

We LOVE petsmart. We bring our boys Dino and Maverick (great danes) there all the time. We are able to weight them at the banfield clinic monthly and they love all the attention they get. We do alot of socialization training there. Everyone always enjoys the boys.

I visit Banfield the Pet Hospital. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I just wish the optimum plans covered more things. Like, for $65 a month I get all the yearly things plus heartworm and flea & tick medicine but it would be nice if there was some type of RX add-on or coverage like we have with human health insurance. Or, some type of emergency medical coverage. I might be thinking too much into that hahah! Either way, the team is great and I do believe they added a new vet recently!

We drove 25 miles to get cbd oil and I called first yo make sure they had it..when we got there they informed us that they didnt HV it..not good..

Weve had several different groomers at this location and each done a wonderful job. This is the second petsmart weve been to and this location has been the best in customer service, ease of appointment, and timely grooming. I had a bad experience the first time I took my goldendoodle to PetSmart. I had a long discussion with the groomer at drop-off about my dog rolling around in the mud, and asked her to make sure his ears were cleaned out really well. I also specified the type of cut we wanted and showed her a picture. We usually go with more of a golden retriever cut than poodle, so imagine my surprise when I picked him up and he had a poodle cut! I didn’t say anything (because I hate to be a bother) and took him home. On the drive home, he was still digging at his ears. As soon as we got there, I took a paper towel and wiped the inside of his ear. It came back full of dirt! Same on the other side. They hadn’t even cleaned his ears, which is part of a standard bath and grooming package, not to mention we had discussed it when I dropped him off! At this point I was frustrated because it was the second mistake they’d made on that visit so I did fill out a survey PetSmart had sent and was honest about my experience. They reached out and said if I would give them another chance, they would I do it free of charge. I did try them out for a second time just three days ago. I brought my hairy boy in, and showed them that he had some matting around his collar due to his recent neuter and the accompanying cone of shame. He rolled all over his crate, the floor, and anywhere else he could to try and get the cone off! I went over the style of cut again, showing the same photo as before. I also asked if I could please pay the additional fee for them to grind his nails after cutting them. He’s a nail biter if they’re jagged plus they take longer to grow out if they grind them down. I was assured that it would be done, and told the only concern was the possibility of needing to go a bit shorter than usual because of the mats. Three hours later he was finished, and I couldn’t wait to come get him. He’s my service dog in training, so we spend most of our time together. As soon as I saw him, I noticed the telltale poodle fluff on top of his head and mentioned it. The groomer had already left for the day so the others said they thought she ‘left his long hair where she could since she’d had to clip him so short, but it shows she didn’t charge you even for the nails!’. Well, that wasn’t really her call now, was it? I was slightly irritated but I took my dog and left. Driving home, he was gnawing on his foot. A quick look showed no nails filed down. There were some jagged ones and they all looked as if they’d barely even been cut. So that’s strike two for the day. What really has prompted me to make a public review is what I found when I got home. My poor dog kept pulling away from pets, and ran away from his sister when she tried to play with him. I went to inspect him further, and he had clipper burns on his face and neck!! So not only did I not get what I was paying/trying to pay for, but now my dog is injured. It isn’t bad enough to warrant treatment from the vet, but tender enough that he doesn’t want to be touched anywhere near the area. I’m so upset that I dropped him off only to be treated like that, plus he’s now skittish about going out in his leash. I’m not sure of the quality varies by location, but this happened at the Indy/Greenwood location with two different groomers so clearly there is a training issue of some sort. Please don’t let them harm any more fur babies!
