Dont look for any kind of pleasant caring chat from their receptionists, I am constantly shocked at how awful their customer/patient service is.

I’m giving 3 because there are 3/4 good GP’s who are still there. But having been a patient here since 1994 I’ve been here since I was a kid, and I can honestly say that this practice went from great - bad - ABYSMAL!! They are constantly late and I mean by 20/40 mins sometimes. The reception staff are insanity rude, condescending and, ask personal questions that they are not always entitled to know. and they don’t like it when don’t tell them. The Receptionists really clearly don’t want to be there and hate their job. It’s sad that patient care really is NOT at the forefront of this Practice anymore. - if you can go elsewhere -

I have been a patient of this practice for over 20 years and I can say Ive met some brilliant doctors and some awful doctors. I have made complaints 3 times and tbh they were never dealt with to my satisfaction but I didnt see the point in pursuing them. I am currently attending for an ongoing issue and thankfully the doctor I am seeing is very tentative.I cant believe that there are reviews here that seem to take offence at the bad reviews..pointless and random seeing as everyone will have different experiences good and bad.

Ive been registered with this practice for over 10 years, just at the point that General Practice was starting to change from very meaningful professional 1-to-1 relationships with GPs you became familiar with to distant, disconnected and impersonal.I had had a previous issue at Cramond a few years back which was dealt with satisfactorily by the Practice Manager. Obviously, it was not ideal that I felt I needed to complain, but I gave the benefit of the doubt. However, at my most recent appointments, I have felt that I am wasting their time. With closed questions, to showing a distinct lack of interest I have concluded that this practice is really only useful for acute patient care.Having a long term health condition now, anything I do attend with is just attributed to this rather than a proper conversation on an equal level, exploring that fact that as I live with this, then I am the best advocate of knowing what matters to me most.I attend maybe 3/4 times a year at most and my last appointment was to report that the DWP would be looking to request copies of my medical records (details of which I shall not go into here). Upon disclosing the stressful nature of this the GP said Well, you voted in a Conservative Government. To say I was taken aback was an understatement and all I could reply was Well, I didnt vote Conservative. I dont really care whether this GP hadnt thought about how theyd worded it, I found it deeply offensive them using the word YOU.I shall now be considering my options and will mostly likely register elsewhere. As for GPs human skills, well, I think there is a lot of re-training needing done in human conversations. From lack of eye contact, to lack of expression, one syllable answers, closed questions etc.Oh and lastly, Id just like to point out that I find the notices about respecting staff at the practice deeply disturbing. The fact that these need to be plastered everywhere indicates a serious problem on BOTH sides, with lack of de-escalation training, a lack of confidence and training by staff on how to deal with difficult people and a serious concern that patients probably wouldnt respond in an aggressive and rude nature if the practices communication was A++

Cant believe some of negative comments here.My doctor has been brilliant and helped me through cancer and other problems over the last 10 years.I do not think I would be here now without her support.

Difficult to get an appointment, reception staff are snarky and condescending as are most of the gps. Appointments always run late and gps consistently do the absolute bare minimum to help

Since I switched to this practice a few years ago I have no complaints. The staff, nurses and doctors all do very well considering the pressure they are under.

So irritated by some of the reviews here that I feel compelled to redress the balance. Perfectly friendly, helpful people doing a difficult job. This place has the same problems as all NHS GPs: Usually running late, hard to get an appointment, and only so much they can do without referring you to a specialist. But if you acknowledge that thats what the NHS is these days then these guys are doing their job well enough. Possibly I wouldnt usually give them five stars, but such is the level of vitriol directed at them that, as I say, Im trying to redress the balance!

I was a patient here since I was 3 years old and Im disgusted with how bad this surgery is now. Reception staff are rude and confrontational. All the best doctors have left the practice. As a disabled person I am relieved to be registering elsewhere, they dont care about patients anymore.

The reception staff are extremely rude and ask personal questions that they are not entitled to in a very rude and patronizing manner. They refuse to give out appointments they are entitled to give and dont provide patients with the necessary information. The doctors repeatedly create mistakes in repeat prescriptions and do not listen to the patient. Do not go here. Only gave one star as I couldnt give any lower.

I have never found the receptionists rude or unhelpful. In fact they have Gone out of their way to help me. I noticed they have s notice on the waiting area saying exactly why the receptionists ask why you need to see a Dr. They are not being nosey its so they can give the gp as much information. I also use the nurses and GPs and I dont have any complaints. I have been at another surgery where 2 of the drs were extremely rude and patronising
