Beautiful temple surrounded by mountains and dense forest. Well connected route. Its like 30 to 40 mins from Ranchi. If you want to plan this way first go to Dassam fall then have lunch and after that visit Surya temple . you can enjoy sunset here. Just after few km you can visit Deori temple also. Due to covid all temples in Jharkhand are closed. So we just enjoyed the surrounding and spectacular view.

If u are on the way to Ranchi must visit this divine temple which will give you a different experience with peace and fell blessed .. beautiful architecture 💫🌸🌟 the environment is so much enlighten ☮️

Calm and serene place where you can meditate. The architecture of the temple is such that inside the temple its very cool even in hot scorching summer. The bonus is you will not find many visitors here .

The temple is majestic and its top can be seen from far. Closed due to covid. The surrounding is also lovely. Mountains, trees, ponds, clouds. Nature at its charming best. Even the golgappas sold by the vendor tasted heavenly. Had a great time exploring the undulating but beautiful landscape. Spotted quite a few lovebirds too.

The temple is a great piece of architecture. It is formed like a chariot having horses in the front and wheels on the sides much similar to the famous sun temple of konark. Nice place to spend couple of hours with family. Ample parking space. Quite accessible due to its proximity from highway.

Sun Temple is a popular tourist attraction just outside Ranchi on the Ranchi Jamshedpur highway. It is probably the only temple dedicated to Sun god in the vicinity of Ranchi city. The distance from Ranchi to the Sun temple is approx 40 km and can be covered in about 45 mins by car. The temple has huge dome and designed like a horse chariot.

It is situated on top of a hill, on the NH-33 (Ranchi-Tata Road), approximately 40 km from the capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi.You don’t have to travel much from the main highway in order to visit the temple, sign boards are there but keep a watch on map so that you don’t have to take U-turns.The temple is constructed in the form of huge chariot with elegantly designed eighteen wheels and seven naturalistic horses. The temple also houses several other deities including Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha. In spite of encroaching sun light in my day of visit, I felt the place very cool & relaxing. This gives me spiritual bliss being there.The temple was built by Sanskriti Vihar, a charitable trust, headed by Shri Sita Ram Maroo, the Managing Director of Ranchi Express Group. The foundation stone was laid by Swami Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati on 24 October 1991 and the Prana Pratishtha was undertaken by Swami Shri Vamdev Ji Maharaj on 10 July 1994.A Dharmashala for pilgrims has been constructed. There is also a pond where devotees can bathe during Chhath Puja for worshiping the Sun God. Temple is must watch for the people who are crossing though the tata- ranchi highway. You can complete the visit of temple within 30-40 minutes by taking a round.

One of the finest modern Architectural design where the sun rays directly enter through main entrance.Spacious temple and neatly maintained complex .The temple is newly constructed and well within the reach .But it was hard to find a clean washroom nearby.

Still in renovation, but peaceful place. Small shops are there, nariyal pani, some fast food n juice counters are available.

Wonderful place to visit and see the nature. It is situated beside Ranchi-Tata NH33. Approximately 40 km from Ranchi. It will take 1 hour to reach here by bus from kantatoli, ranchi. While travelling from ranchi to tata, you can see it on the right hand side of the road. It is easily visible from the NH33. Transport system is also easily accessible in this area. You can get the buses for ranchi and tata from here at the interval of 30 minutes, in case you will be visiting here. Quite place. The sunset view from here are mesmerizing and one of my favourite. Tea and snack shops are also here.

A nice destination for tourists & visitors. The tample is a hindu tample of God Sun. It is one of the few sun temples of the country situated at Bundu, jharkhand. Tample is situated in top of a rock beside NH 33. From NH a concrete road going through the tample so that any type of vehicle can go there. There is many stall of fast & local foods, and many other shop nearby. Photography is prohibited inside the tample. out side view is nice & there is a garden around the tample. Those are the Photography zone. Overall its a nice place for visitors.

Nice place for picnic spot . And yes the sunset view from this place is awesome.. usually on 1st jan many ppls come here by their own means of convinence.. however people can also visit here by Bus.

This place it good to go but not is summers I would say if you are interested in spritual travelling and architect lover too then its a place to visit but mark my words not in the afternoon of summers otherwise you have to face the wrath of mother earth (floor is always on fire), Otherwise its good to go and very beautiful inside out.

Hill top temple in Bundu. Near to NH33 Highway road Ranchi-Jamshedpur route. Have a PCC road to the top of the temple. A residential school for student is also there at the hill to near the temple and students have their lunch and dinner in the temple canteen . Not much crowd.
