Always such a beautiful place to visit with family! There is not a lot of beach space, but its worth it for the view and the nice spits you can park in with benches already there for your convenience. Its not far from where we live so this is our new favorite spot for the summer. Sometimes its first come first serve and other times you have to reserve a spot, it just depends on the time of thee year. Overall I recommend!

Amazing oasis on the Colorado River for RV Camping. I lucked out as a walk in and stayed 2 nights for $5 with Access pass. Super great park host! Keep dogs close and leashed, coyotes walking in camp in daytime among people walking around. Also woke at midnight to donkeys surrounding my rv... my dog going ballistic!

Great and affordable campground. If you reserve campsite online, make sure you bring a soft or hard print out. There are a few lakefront campsites. Watch out for the donkeys during your night driving.

This is a great little hidden gem. Only 1 bathroom (vault toilet), no potable water, no fire pits, no shade structures. There are coal grills, picnic tables. Bring bug spray for when the sun goes down..there are SOO many bugs. There are a few really nice coves that our kids played in.. also, a private beach for the campground. The site host was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back!

It may be great, if youre in an RV, but if youre tent camping, you should go to the other side of the river! The wild burros will (not may, but absolutely will) harass you, especially if you have dogs. They dont like dogs. However, you can not harass the burros back because it is against the law. No matter how close they get to trampling on your head as you sleep. You are not allowed to chase them off.

I havent been here yet but Ive heard great things from reliable sources.Camping in an rv or even in tent can get real pricey and books up quick near Parker Dam and Lake Havasu City.Im told the only amenities here are picnic tables and fire rings.Pets are allowed if you clean up after them and keep them on a 6 or less leash. There are no shade stuctures (but there are trees!). There arent any utility hook ups but generators are allowed. That being said there is also no fees (or if there is its super cheap). It offers a free boat launch, spectacular views, fishing, swimming, stores near by and my personal favorite- shoreline overnight camping for both tents and rvs.

This 14 day BLM has small designated campsites with picnic tables and a washroom. About 6 of the sites are on the river and look really great, but its first come, first served, so there is always someone waiting to get into a prime spot. I wasnt able to get any spot at all.

Nice small BLM CG in sea of large rv resorts. Some sites are sideways along river, others are back in close to river. Also sites 20-26 are up on a flat away from river but with full sun for larger RVs or those that want more solar hours. Only sites #6, #24, #25 are nonreserved first come. Rest of sites are reserved thru recreation.gov. costs are $5 nite or $2.50 senior pass. Only 4 stars due to no fire rings or wood fires allowed..only charcoal in the small grills provided. Plus for the burros wandering by..

Very pleasant. Many sites are riverfront. The campground has a host. And it qualifies for the Senior Interagency discount. Normally $5/night, I am paying $2.50. Has a vault toilet and dumpster for trash. Close to Parker, shopping, laundromat, and waste dump/water fillup.

Camp host not especially welcoming, indicated we could stay for one night. We could make a reservation but would have to leave for two days before it could begin. They do not accept BLM/LTVA passes. When asked how the reservation system was working out, she stated great, I dont have to argue with anyone. After years with BLM this was arguably the most unpleasant experience at one of the sites. Suggest steering clear of this one, thinking the host would like that. One final note, out house (bank toilet) was filthy and unkept. I guess the host is just to busy.

Like everything and everywhere, depends on what you want. Id been dispersed camping for four weeks and decided to try this campsite. Trying to get some writing done on first day there when neighbor turned on a generator for one and a half hours. Havent heard one of those for a long while. Extremely annoying. And yakity-yak-yak. Youre so close to your neighbor you hear their talking all day into the evening. If youre ok with that, fine. I like the peace and quiet. Thats not gonna happen here.Pros: helpfull/friendly camphost; inexpensive nightly camp fee; clean/functional vault toilet; dumpster on site.Cons: little to no privacy; noise from boats on river, generators and vehicle traffic (everythings too packed together); unsatisfactory reservation vs. walk-up/daily camp registration process (daily, non-reservation folks need to pay every day and wont know until next morning if the sites been reserved. Gotta be a way BLM office can communicate reservation status to camphost at least weekly).Ill take dispersed camping over crowded camping. So wont be back. Overall though, BLM still provides a fantastic service for all, for which Im very grateful.
