The temple is far away from Shree Dwarkadhish Temple. temple is unique as it is solely dedicated to Goddess Rukmini, who was Lord Krishnas wife. The priest opens it for short intervals and closes the altar again. As the story says due to curse Shree Krishna and Rani Rukmani Ji was separated. The whole story was again told by the main priest and there are pictures depicting same. Please pay as per our wish and faith. The pratima of Rani Rukmani was very beautiful. The temple needs restoration though. We offered our prayers and meditated awhile. Then we bought a packet of shringar items as a keepsake. It contained bindis, kajal, lipstick, blouse piece and bangles. Different packets had different combinations of shringar items like nail-polish, mirror, comb, etc. There is no drinking water or washroom facility, nor any eateries around. We saw hordes of black-headed gulls all around, being fed grain, by sadhus..
Hiii... This is a temple and is located 4km from Dwarika Town. Road to this temple is very good and less crowded. Here goddess Rukmani devi Statue is placed from very ancient time and place is open almost every time but can be visited mainly after 6pm or morning upto 12am. Here parking of every vehicle is available and temple is vast and clean and well organized and informative to everyone by its Pujaris and workers...Thank you very much...🙂🙂🙂
Rukmani temple is 2 KM away from the Dwarka temple. Its been said that visiting Rukmani temple is mandatory during your visit in Dwarka city.Scenic view from the temple and very old temple.Old ancient temple with artistic architecture. Its been said that there is no drinking water available in near by area as saint Parshuram had cursed lord Krishna and Rukmani as they forgot to asked him for a Glass of Water and hence, the entire area was cursed and till 5KM , its only alkaline water and no drinking water. And both were parted for 12years, Hence Goddess Rukmani stayed here for 12 years.

The Rukmini Devi Temple is a temple in Dwarka 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) away from Dwarka. It is dedicated to Rukmini, krishna’s chief queen. The temple is said to be 2,500 years old but in its present form it is inferred to belong to the 12th century.I felt peace here. This temple is also very beautiful.
It is said that at the request of sage Durvasa Rishi(who was renowned for his short temper and bestowing curses)Sri Krishna and Mata Rukmini pulled a chariot taking sage Durvasa Rishi to their house for dinner. On the way, when Mata Rukmini asked for water to quench her thirst,Sri Krishna drew Ganges water, by prodding the ground with his toe, for her to drink. Mata Rukmini quenched her thirst with the Ganges water. But Durvasa Rishi felt insulted as mata Rukmini did not have the courtesy to offer him water to drink. He, therefore, cursed her that she would live separately from her husband. Thats why the distance between both the temples is near about 2+ kms also no sweet drinking water available in entire region. Here in Prasad one will get drinking water and as Daan Dakshina one can offer 1 day water or tank of water or as per convenience.must visit place if in dwarkadish. Jai Sri Dwarkadish Jai Mata Rukmini 🙏
This temple is dedicated to Rukmani Matha ji, Shri Krishna jis wife. This temple on the way to Beyt Dwarka.
Beautiful temple just dont listen to temple pujari
Rukmini Devi Temple is situated 3 km away from the main Dwarkadhish Temple on the banks of Bhagirathi River. According to the legend, once Lord Krishna and his wife Rukmini went to the sage Durvasa to invite him for dinner at Dwarka. He agreed on the condition that Krishna & Rukmini would have to pull his chariot instead of any animal. While pulling the chariot, Rukmini became thirsty so Lord Krishna struck the earth with his foot and Ganga gushed forth. Rukmini took a sip without offering Durvasa. Annoyed by her impoliteness he cursed Rukmini that she would be separated from her beloved husband. Hence Rukmini temple is situated away from Jagat Mandir. When you visit the temple, the priest will first tell you her story and then let you enter the temple in a batch. Inside the temple, there is a lovely image of her and all around there are paintings depicting the legends associated with her.Shri Rukmani Devi Mandir is dedicated to Lord Krishna`s chief wife Devi Rukmani, She is considered to be the incarnation of Godess Lakshmi. The temple is situated on the outer side of Dwarka, about 2 kilometer away. The walls of the temple are carved with elephants, horses, dev and human idols. Donation of drinking water in the Goddess Temple is considered as highly blessing activity. The present temple is believed to be the established on the 12th century

This Temple is hardly 1km away from main Dwarkadhish Temple. Place is quite beautiful once youll entered in the place. Poojari will share the story of the temple. Rukmini Devi is not allowed to enter dwarka so she settled outside the boundary of Dwarka. Water donations are accepted here you can donate according to your capacity. The detailed story of this temple you can read on Google. Because of Durvasa rishi cursed Lord Dwarkadish and Rukmini Devi separated
Small yet beautiful temple with carvings. It is related to Doorvasa muni and curse to lord Krishna and Rukmini and how there is no fresh water source in Dvarka. This story is told by the temple priest every day to the crowd.

Rukmini temple is a temple situated in Dwarka city,2 kms from Dwarka temple . The temple is dedicated to Rani Rukmini Bhagwan Sri Krishna Rani.the temple is beautifully and richly carved and decorated and believed to be 2500 years old.
This place is joined with the story of Loard Shree Krishna & his wife Rukmani and Saint Shree Durwasa.Due to avoiding the importance of asking about drinking water to the Durwasa during traveling in chariet of Krishna & Rukmani, the saint angree upon both and gave Shrap that both Krishna and Rukmani to stay differently and the water of this place always remain saulty.
This place is actually drowned in water when we have high tide and rainy season. Not exactly drowned but sea water comes and there is a lot of fish smell around
I dont have a too much details but I am visiting here its nice place...if you love photography ..then I suggest you visit one time
Temple is not in good condition also not in good hands. Those pujari who maintain they are like beggar. They close the temple every 10-15 minutes and force you to donate in the temple, by torturing with their words.
Your dwarika yatra will not be considered as complete if you have not did darshan of this temple, priest will explain everything about this,The temple is corroded due to heavy see wind, about 1.5 km from the main dwarkadish temple. You will get auto from near by dwarka temple..You can get cool butter milk here...pleasant atmosphere during winter time, quite hot (due to high humidity) during normal days...
Its serene temple located outskirt of dwarka city.Temple having beutiful carvings .

Located 4km far from the dwarkadish temple. Dedicated to rukmini mata, wife of srikrishna.when krishna got married with rukmini mata, they have invited durvasav saint for the feast.he asked the couple to ride the cart instead of horse.when rukmini mata felt thirst, she asked for water to krishna.krishna brought ganga river through his toes and she drunk the water. They havent asked the permission to have water and durvasa felt angry and cursed them to be separated for 12 years. After 12 years they have rejoined and got blessings from durvasa. Thus says the story. Thats why dwarka temple and rukmini temple located a few distance apart.
Nice place. Must visit.
This temple is dedicated to Mata Rukmani Devi. She was one of the wife of Bhagwan Shri Krishna. As per the priest who told the story about the curse and Mata Rukmani that once when Mata Rukmani was kidnapped and brought to Dwarka on the way she feel thirsty. So she prayed Bhagwan Shri Krishna for water. Bhagwan Shri Krishna provided her Gangaajal which she instantly started drinking. At that time rishi durvasa was also with her, who felt the whole scenario displeasement for him as Mata Rukmani didnt ask him for the water first. So he gave curse that the drinking water will disappear from Dwarka. So as of today for drinking water, water tanks are called. Therefore the priest of this Temple advice to donate money for portable water tank which is the best donation among everything.
Rukmini Devi Temple - Queen of #Dwarka . First पटरानी of KrishnaLocated in 2 km from the historic #temple of Dwarka on the coast of #Saurashtra in Gujarat. Rukmini is one of the avatars of Laxmi Devi, the consort of Vishnu. This shrine is an Architectural Masterpiece in itself. The temple is said to be more than 2500 years old, but its domed mandapa and stepped sanctuary belongs to 12th century. The sanctum of the temple has a beautiful marble idol of Devi Rukmani, with four hands holding Shanka, Chakra, Gada and Padma.
It is told that Dwarka darshan is not complete if you dont visit Rukmani devi temple.
It is a richly carved temple decorated with sculptures of gods and goddesses on the exterior with the sanctum housing the main image of Rukmini. Carved naratharas (human figures) and carved gajatharas (elephants) are depicted in panels at the base of the tower
Its bit far from the town and folklore is Rukmini stopped here for drinking water while walking along with Saint Durvasa and Lord Krishna. Saint cursed her to remain at same place and hence from that day she never entered Dwarka.
The Rukmini Devi Temple is a temple in Dwarka which is 2 kilometres away from Dwarka, gujrat. India. It is dedicated to Rukmini devi, Krishna’s wife. The temple is said to be 2,500 years old. Must Visit Place in Devbhumi Dwarika 🙏
Very nice place
A nice prayer mandhir
The temple is good but the priest over there makes delusional statements to catch peoples sentiments about thier Pittr. And It becomes easy for him to ask for Donations without even saying it directly on face.
Amazing temple
Beautiful temple...made by Soft stone thats why almost every idol have damaged..Gujrat tourism maintained well but we expect more from Gujarat Tourism..
This is among the only two temple of Raani Rukmani Devi, in this temple people use to donate water, their is a long story behind this, basically DWARKA is cursed by rishi Durwasa that all the fresh available water in become saline, that is why dwarka is among the water scare city and water is supplied to this region generally using water tanks.
I dont know why on such holy places these priests never left any chance to make people fool. Beware of them. Sorry if I hurt someones sentiments.
Best place to visit in life time but remamber to donate some money for drinking 💦 water
