Loved this market experience! It was open bright and early with all local vendors selling everything you need. Fresh vegetables, fruit, different kinds of fish, and meat. In another section they have tons of beautiful plants for sale. Its a shame we arent allowed to bring back any of the plants because theyre so pretty!
This is a completely authentic Thai market. Setting on the edge of a canal, you can find all kinds of fruits and vegetables, meats and fish. Just dont be to freaked out if a large rat scurries by your feet. Maybe 2km north of Khao San Road. Easy walk.
Local market. interesting to walk through. If you are an animal lover you wont like it. they are selling baby turtles and huge frogs. all those fish and eels are in small containers some of them in really small amount of water.
Popular market, not touristic, where thai people use to go... super interesting as they sell different things like turtles, snakes and fish still alive :)
For the flowers it wasnt a big deal but on the other side of thw canal was a fish and seafood market, very interesting to walk through.
Colorful local market! Lots of fresh food items: vegetables, fish, fruit. Theres also a pretty, little flower market on the other side of the canal. Very authenic. Mostly visited by locals, you hardly see any tourists.
Not only house decorating flowers and live amphibious & fishes for sell to let them free @Thewet pier but also there is a beautiful Thewaraj Kunchorn temple nearby to explore.
All the crazy amount of cheap and delicious street food! Everyday different vendors will come to this market to sell their products, you will get new stuff everyday. As for me I got food!
There are varities of natural plants, equipment, fertilizer, and ect. with the reasonable price also appreciated services.
There are a variety of food you can choose from whether you are into dry goods or wet. The cost of their food is cheap and the sellers are willing to assist you whatever you need.
Nice place. Lot of things to shop, lot of food stall, restaurants and cheap hotel and hostel. Nice historical places to explore..
Authentic, local Thai market with live fish, toads and turtles and water snakes. Good mangos.
Easy to search indoor plants. Had many shops there.
Good place to buy flower plants and beautiful Cactus.
Amazing selection of fresh produce, meats and fish. Very affordable price. Just wear shoes and stay away from a bucket of gigantic catfish.

An old popular market place when there used to be klong(canal) as another means of transportation from one long stretch end to the other....from Thewet to Hua lumpong.
One of the wet markets left in Bangkok. A real experience in to fresh ingredients to create authentic Thai food
Vibrant Thai market. Go early AM and stay out of the way of the people working.

Nice busy Thai market, decent food.
We didn’t buy anything, but it is interesting to see all the fresh food on sale, especially the wet market. Produce included live fish, eels, sea snails, frogs, and turtles, all writhing in buckets of water.
The most amazing market ever.
Good place to buy fresh vegetables, sea food, meat and thai herbs.
Wet market near the chao praya river. Many Buudhist do the fish release ritual in here
Great place to visit in phucket.
If you like to explore the localize market with a very variety stuffs to sell, dont missed this market! :-)
Interesting little market selling flowers and food towards the front of the market on Th. Samsen and it also has a huge meat/butcher section and they sell live aquatic animals to eat towards the back of the market. If you follow this market to the back of it and take the bridge over the canal and keep heading westerly youlll come to a water taxi stop that can take you down or up river for a nice change from the busses, taxis and tuk tuks that ply the heavily trafficked roads in the area.
Good local place to buy ingredients of Thai foods.
Small and genuine market out of the touristic tracks. Real Thailand inside Bangkok
A lot of things to buy even though sometimes the price is bit high.

Street Market for raw food
Pure Asia...
The entrance for locals is here, but tourists are better off crossing a small bridge near the lock near the dock and entering through the back door, with the market running along the Tewet Canal to the foot of a large bridge. Fresh vegetables You will never get tired of seeing healthy fish. Take a walk out of the way of the shop staff and shopping mothers, and when you come out of the front entrance, make tea at the ikoffie opposite. This is my most enjoyable walking course in Bangkok.
