Sophisticated Chittingbaz!!! 3rd class local lens with high price. My spectacle price was taken 23600/-. Later I realized it was above the price of a Telescope.

If you are thinking of collecting your pair of specs from this particular GKB Optical outlet then beware! You will end up spending on good frames with shoddy local made lenses. The entire product will creak as you try to were it and upon inspection you will invariably find noticeable gaps between the frame and the lenses. When you try to lodge a complain to get a replacement is when you get to know the staff working there better - they will advertently give you the cold shoulder and you will be left asking yourself why entered the store on the first place....DONT VISIT THIS STORE....ORDER online instead.....

I have heard of GKB to be a renowned company in optical. I went your Durgapur Junction mall outlet on 12/5/18. After browsing I choose a frame for my newspectacle. The optometrist suggested me a refraction check. He checked my eyesight thoroughly and then suggested to decrease my negative power marginally from my current one. I agreed and ordered it. But to my utter surprise nobody informed me the my specs is ready. The only landline number provided in the bill was not reachable. Only when I emailed the store, I got the confirmation that it is ready. After taking the delivery while wearing the glass I faced difficulties with my vision. I immediately informed the store. They suggested me that it will be solved gradually with wearing. I took his suggestion and accordingly weared the glass continuously for two days. But when it persisted I took it to the store. They assured me that they will try to solve the matter. I was in vacation for 15days. In between I called 4to 5times and everytime the optometrist said to me that he is trying to contact the lab. That created a doubt in my mind and I felt thatthey really dont want to take the initiative to solve the matter. Which come true today when there said to me that he could not contact the lab. Ghey didnt pick up my phone calls for last two days ( the stores only landline phone is not reachable still).I had no problem in paying again for a fresh corrected lens. I just wanted a clear vision. But they didnt ever bothered to suggest me that. This is total unprofessionalism.Anyway today I took my glass back and handed it over to Dutta optics to get it corrected.Cheap...Never fall in their trap.

Bought 2 frames and both of them broke within a month. The person there said that those frames are very durable and will last long. They are cheaters.
