A very good bookstore and also a very old one. This book store was present even before my birth which means its a very old one. The books available are of good quality and variety of books are available. Have been buying books and accessories from here since my childhood. The behaviour of most of the staff is good except one or two. So overall a very good library to shop for your lovely books. The price range is also moderate.

Will never go there again.Today visited after talking over phone. I was asked to visit before 2 pm as they close at that time. I rushed from Asansol during this lockdown period just for this and reached there at 1.45 pm.Guess what, found it closed.Again talked over phone and got informed they wouldnt be coming for me.They simply closed violating their own submission and didnt even bothered to inform me either.A bunch of unprofessional morons!!

Subhas library is the oldest library in Mamra market. Mamra market is the one of oldest markets in the city durgapur. it was very popular during the days when M.A.M.C was up well and running. it was considered of the most advanced markets in whole durgapur city. but as M.A.M.C is no more mamra market to some extent lost its charm. but its a very well running market. and in the middle of the market there is SUBHASH library. many books of variety branch and trades are available here. not only book stationary products are also available here. there take custom orders for book delivery.

Yes this is the only book shop in the city to sell study books of A reputed girls school in Durgapur for years may be from the beginning. The facility is laid out in two storied formation where the first floor is only used as store and the ground floor is for selling. One can also have other stationary items, story books, paperback, school bags, water bottle, tiffin box etc all that are required for that school except school uniforms. One stop solution. But to mention, second copy of any books in middle session is not guaranteed, so if your student damages any book than may be it will be unavailable in mid session. Behaviour of the staffs are almost ok. Only recommend if your student reads in that reputed school.
