Guard outside is great, he was helpful. But the employees inside don’t think their customers are humans. They send people from one counter to another just like that. Lines on every counter. One employee behind the counter simply was opening and closing his pen! When people were standing outside the bank waiting for their turn! The best part, such a big bank doesn’t have a xerox machine 🙄 they ask ppl to bring copies from outside!Government employees at their best. Don’t want to work. Don’t even think customers are people! Probably this is how government banks work. No one complains because they are used to this kind of behaviour!

Since this is the only State Bank of India branch within Durgapur Steel Township, it has to provide services to a large section of people. The branch usually remain crowded and you have to wait here for good amount of time to get your work done. An ATM counter is present beside this branch where you can also deposit your cash and update your passbook.
