Great place wrt tariff . Cleanl, nicely decorated , good staff behavior , good service , good location , good food . Only thing I can complain is , being a roadside inn, someone might feel disturbed because of the noise of the car. But its negligible no doubt

Room is ok but lighting is poor. 24 hr hot water not available. They provide only on request. Buffet breakfast like earlier not available. Food menu is also limited. Overall earlier experience is this hotel was far more better than this time.

I have tried their chicken biriyani. That was a perfect example of overdoing. At a first glance, the amount was very good, but the colour and aroma was not that much great. The chicken pieces were dry but the size was good. The biriyani was so aromatic that it was not enjoyable. There was an offer on biriyani, so the price was approximately 100 rupees. But I think, roadside biriyani is better than that one.

The best Drums of heaven I have had till now in Durgapur. I heard from a lot of people around me that this place offers good food, specially biryani but before I try out my favourite dish, I though of ordering some snacks and it turned out really well. Will definitely try biryani and something else here the next time and will share my experience. Stay tuned.

Before lockdown I was the regular customer of the hotel.Staff behaviou, food quality, accomodation everything was good.Today (3rd July 2020) I check in at kalpana inn...All the good ones are just turned 180 degree.Room - 1/5 ( Dirty washroom, living room is dirty too)Staff Service - 2/5 ( total 4 persons are running entire hotel)Food - 2/5

I choose standard room non AC.. But the TV of room was not running.When I told to the manager they didnt take any action about this matter.They told me that you had not any facility for watching TV.This was very disapointing for me. Otherwise everything else was fine..

Its ok ok place to stay overnite if you are travelling to nearby place. I was on long drive to bishnupur via Bardwan and halt here for a night and travelled to bishnupur. They have their own parking space. Its just beside NH-2, so its hard to get sound sleep at night. Staff service was good and food was also good as per the location.

Kalpana Inn said to be the best 2 star restaurant in muchipara Durgapur for staying and eating. Service are pretty good. The atmosphere is also nice but the rate of the drinks is too high then other other 2star hotel. Otherwise it is the best option of restaurant.

A very nice hotel in Durgapur. Nice cozy and comfortable rooms. Due to the road expansion it looks shabby but inside it is a very nice hotel. Serves grear south, north and Chinese delicacies. Has an attached bar as well. Complementary break fast also is served a little late with limited menu. One can spend a good time here. Cheers.

Absolutely value for money. Very nice hotel.. service is excellent....And it is directly on national highway, so location is too good. I have come here for a business trip and booked this hotel for 3 day stay. The only disadvantage is that if you stay in inner rooms, WiFi signal will be too weak. So try getting room close to reception.

The hotel is ok. Location is great. Have parking facility. But the main problem is the mattress is not at all comfortable. Its brick hard.and secondly the rooms are very small.

Initially the experience was very poor, hotel didnt allow to check in due to tarrif varience between Go-ibibo & Hotel. It takes 1 hrs to settle the issue between them, hence I have to wait for 1hrs. Post that the hotel stay was nice , staffs are well behaved, rooms was clean. Only request to Go-ibibo please discuss with hotels before flashing the room rent in your site. It will be better for everyone.

Very nice hotel in Durgapur. Little bit away from station but you can go to hotel by Auto & mainly 24 hours available. Nice & Tidy rooms. You can get shampoo, soap, water bottle & morning breakfast as a complimentary.

This hotel is conveniently located on NH2. I tried their restaurant on my way back to Kolkata from Purulia. I found the restaurant clean. They have separate veg and non veg section. Ideal to take your family. Ample car parking space. I found the wash room clean and maintained. They also have lodging. Though the food is of average taste. Very good to rest your legs after a long drive.

Location and Room wise it was good. I booked 1 Grand Suite Room for 3 occupancy.. when I reached there for check in they told me that they have cancelled our room only because they dont have any triple occupancy room in their hotel. Basically they have triple occupancy room but they dont want to provide us as because we got discounts ... They demanded extra money for extra occupancy, we talked to Goibibo and then Goibibo confirmed us that they will pay the extra. So my suggestion for the travellers that before booked any room in Kalpana Inn you need to confirm the hoteliers about your booking. Otherwise you have many options for staying in Durgapur or nearby.
