Beautiful restaurant. Sat outside on the balcony. Felt like being abroad. Asian restaurants are always great but this one excelled. Very nice menu. The duck starter was excellent. Staff really nice and good service. Cant wait to go again.

Having heard great things about this restaurant, I decided to try for myself. Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile and some lovely decor and a clean modern looking restaurant. I proceeded to order a combination starter which was not so great however..a few tiny frozen spring rolls with nothing inside only a shed of carrot and a little cabbage like the 60 party piece ones you find at a local supermarket. The chicken skewers consisted of a rubber chicken which was definitely cooked a day before my arrival and the prawns were good, ribs were soft but just a little soy sauce with them. The mains came and it was a mixed bag..the beef hot pot was tasty but there was two types of beef in it some flat rubbery strips and some tender steak pieces.. strange to say the least.. the red Thai curry was very sweet no spice and again had the rubber chicken at an average of 20 odd euro per dish Id expect a lot more quality. I would not go back and there are far too many class asian restaurants out there to blow this place out of the water on value and quality. Verdict overpriced poor quality dishes of what I could only describe as possibly yesterday s leftovers.

Very nice authentic restaurant. The menu is not big which is a good thing, the dishes they are offering are very tasty. The place also looks very nice, perfect spot to celebrate a BD or any other happy moment of your life with friends and family. Very nice space on the balcony with a view to the canal.Recommend for everyone who likes this type of food.

I’m a fan of good Japanese food , this place comes with an ambience. We dined with our 10 month old . I was in the mood for some yummy noodle and ordered the drunken noodle(stir fried noodle with chicken , prawn , mushroom , broccoli) . Not a bad decision to have ordered that but let’s just say I was expecting a bit more in term of the quality & quantity which was disappointing!This was accompanied with some dragon rolls sushi 🍣 ( Avacado & eel, 🍤, 🦀, cucumber wrapped in rice & seaweed topped with caviar ) . I really liked the flavor of the first bite off the sushi which was very fresh , and creamy at the same time , was not the best of the sushi’s I’ve had but was not a bad try I must say .

Food is good, but take-away process isnt up the par.JustEat menu clearly says that rice is included on all the main dishes and they even list the exceptions (noodles and fried rice).For unknown reason when ordering stir fried vegetables (from main dishes section), rice is not included, maybe its assumed that vegetables are not main dish, but if so, this is not mentioned anywhere. Also, when rice is not included in price, adding rice makes stir fried veggies most expensive dish on their menu, which doesnt make any sense either.I called about this and response was that I should have been informing them if I wanted rice, for some reason this logic doesnt apply on other dishes at same list. This is easy to fix, it remains to be seen is it going to be fixed, meanwhile Ill go and boil rice for my veggies.

Have to say Geisha was an amazing find.It overlooks the canal, so food and views are amazing.

Gorgeous place, great food, perfect service. The restaurant has got a nice view of the canal. We chose this restaurant for a special occasion and were glad we did it. Highly recommended.

Fabulous food in a beautiful setting. The staff and the owner are so polite as friendly. Every dish from starter to desert was delicious. I had my 40th birthday party there last year, they made the personal menu, It was unforgettable. Highly recommended

Nice place. Friendly staff. Very poor food. When any restaurant can serve you your starter within 5 minutes of ordering it means only one thing. The chicken looked processed and 2 members of our party had upset stomachs after. Definitely wont be back.

It is with regret that I make this addendum to my original review from a year ago. My last few visits here have been less than great; the quality and range of dishes has fallen significantly , and as one other reviewer put it, its like having Asian takeaway with average table service. Had 5 stars; now only 3 from me.

The setting - in the heart of Rathborne Village beside the canal and Ashtown train station is stunning. The decor, layout and ambience are all top drawer. The restaurant is well complimented by the exterior terrace which overlooks the canal. If that wasnt enough, well the food is exceptional. Well worth a visit.

Bank holiday treat. Our daughter treated us to Sunday dinner here. 4 courses only €24.95 which is a great price especially in DublinI had spring rolls for starters, vegetable chestnut for mains with fried rice and chocolate cake for dessert plus coffee. My husband had duck for starter, chicken for main with noodles and chocolate cake and tea and daughter had prawns for starter, vegetable thai curry and lemon cake plus coffee. Lots of clean plates. They also had glasses of wine, extra cost.Very clean even the toilets were spotless which is fantastic. Staff were very helpful. Our experience on the 2nd June deserves 5 stars.

Chose this restaurant recently for a special birthday. The service was really good but the food was unforgettable. The birthday girl is the toughest critic I know but commented that any time the men in our family share is rare! Pad Thai was sublime with crushed peanuts and lime juice. Starters were almost meals in themselves but for me the Thai Red Curry was out of this world. The best sit-down Thai restaurant in Dublin. Word of warning though. Ask whats in your dish, I went for a pea free dish. One star has been dropped for a misleading menu.

Very flavoursome food, friendly staff and a beautiful sunset on the canal out the window. Definitely try the teriyaki pork ribs...my god.

Great experience! Food is really good, staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere/decor is something you dont see too often in Ireland. On top of this, their wine list is outstanding. I had one of the best bottle of red wine at Geisha.

Stopped by during lunch hours and the food was delicious. Servers were both attentive and very polite, and the restaurant itself was immaculate. Highly recommended. 😊

Thai Green Curry (2/5) - Chicken was dried and without flavour, very liquid sauce with only 2 pieces of chickenPad Thai Noodles (0.5/5) - Awful. Dried pasta cooked from the day before with 2 pieces of dried chicken.Today we gave another try to this restaurant, but we are not coming back.Disappointed with the dinner.

As a frequebt visitor, I fibd Geisha to be a very pleasent Asian dining experience with great staff off the Canal at Ashtown walk, Dublin 15. Dart Station nearby too if you fancy a drink or two.! God value and worth a visit.
