Weve had our Transformer Table for about two months now and were loving how versatile it is! The table has hosted meals, homework, and family games, sometimes all at the same time, and the coffee table for storage means we can quickly add or remove leaves to meet our needs, though the leaves can be hard to get out until you learn the trick. The bottle of stain came in handy when a dropped dish dented enough to show bare wood. The mark cant even be seen any longer, however the finish on the table is soft enough to show pencil marks. The hardware (latches and rails for the table) are very well made and always work smoothly.

It is very well made and so easy to use. Perfect for any space. I got the Mahogany dining table and coffee table. While constructing the coffee table I realized I was missing one of the small bolts. I contacted the team and they processed the request right away. About a week later I got a package containing not only the extra bolt, but also a cheeseboard, a set of coasters, and two masks! Absolutely excellent variety of transformer furniture -- dining room benches, dining room tables, coffee tables, couches, etc. The Transformer Table is not inexpensive by any means, but you get what you pay for, and the quality and beautiful design more than justify the prices. The entire inventory here is manufactured in Canada. The service is equally excellent, helpful but never pushy; cheerful but not overbearing. My only complaint would be the long delivery times -- months of waiting-- but that is explainable by the popularity of this company.

We LOVE our transformer table. Covid-19 delayed our tables arrival (not their fault!) but when it finally arrived it was perfectly packaged and arrived safely. It was HEAVY (which is a good thing compared to our flatpack furniture!) and well made. It is easy to set up, expand and move around. Ive played around with the layout of our table and bench but have landed on this arrangement! Their customer service was top notch as well! Everyone we spoke to was super nice and our samples arrived promptly after request. The free coffee table was also a nice addition. We use the space created by not having all the leaves in the coffee table as a sweet little hidey nook. We cant wait to expand it to its full potential and have the whole family over for parties like in the before times (and show it off lets face it)! For now though its perfect for our small dining area. Pictured with two leaves in the table and 3 in the bench. A bit expensive but unlike any other furniture I have ever seen! So innovative!

We ordered this table several months ago because it was the only table we could find that offered such great versatility for us living in a one bedroom apartment. We could use it as a desk and convert it into a large dining table when hosting for a group of people! We expected that having such a great functionality option that we would sacrifice quality, sturdiness and appearance. However, that is not the case! This table is solid, heavy and immaculately finished and definitely provides both function and quality. We are so pleased with our transformer table and the customer service that we cannot recommend transformer table enough. It did take several months for me to receive my order but it was definitely worth the wait and I was always able to promptly reach someone to follow up!!! This is a must buy!!

I have been following this table for awhile! When we saw they were having a sale, we jumped on it. We were jazzed and ordering was easy. We were going to be out of town certain dates, and the representative ensured us that it would not arrive within that window, and that he would request the shipping to be delayed so we wouldnt miss the sale.However, once we placed the order another representative contacted us to tell us it will be shipped whenever even though we were guaranteed it would not. After a few attempts of corresponding with him, he stopped responding. He essentially told us we would have to pay for storage at the shipping company. When it did ship, the track number didnt work for days and was assumed missing for a few moments, until it magically showed up in our town. The shipping company called, and they were so nice and helpful. They held our shipment without fees because of the negligence on Transformer Tables side.They never replied back in any way shape or form, the next time we heard from them it was being contacted to write a review. The person on the phone was nice and I informed him of my trouble I have had so far.Now the actual product: it is beautiful, but does scratch easily so be careful with setting things on it and dragging them across the surface (including light items, books, bags, etc.). Our table sags in the middle even with just two leafs in, one of the benches already has a 5 inch long 3/4 deep crack in it, as well as some instability in some of the join junctions where it is coming apart. We though, hey! Well contact them since there is a one year warranty. We were offered $150 dollars off, instead of repair or replacement.So, all and all, save your money, time, and sanity and buy something from a more reputable company.

We ordered our table near the end of July and knew it would take a while to come. We didnt expect next day delivery!In October we were contacted that our table was going to be shipped and to let us know the carrier would be in touch.When it arrived, the boxes were a little squished looking, which worried me, but each piece was so well packed that there is no damage to any of them (whew!).The coffee table was the only thing that needed some assembly, which wasnt too difficult (although I had to look up proper placement for two washers on a bolt. . . ).So far, all of our pieces are working properly, and Im so happy the table can be pulled apart/retracted by one person :) The motions are smooth and easy.It also came with a small bottle of touch up paint for any damage that we do to it.In the attached picture, the bench is under the far end of the table. Such a great set!Very very happy with our purchase! We cant wait for covid to end so we can have people over to show it off!

Really well-made furniture. More than half of our tables are from here. Also, if in the rare case something does go wrong, they replace or repair it for free without question. We bought the transformer dining set, and the bench was broken. We called them and they replaced the bench in no time. What an excellent experience! The table does not seat 12 regular sized people on 12 regular sized dining chairs. The middle support leg quite literally jams into the groin of the people on both sides who are seated in the middle of the table. You cannot get 5 chairs even squished together down either side of the table even when it is fully extended. 4, no problem. But I need a table that seats 12 people every day. Even if I purchased their benches, that middle person will always have to straddle the middle support bar - it sticks out so far from the edge of the table that the person sitting there cannot get close enough to their plate to eat their food without having that support leg jammed into their groin. I am not kidding. Look at the pictures on their website and you will see 5 chairs do not fit under the table and the middle chair is pushed up against the support leg. I would not recommend this table to anyone which makes me very sad. I am Canadian and want to support Canadian. But this product is not as advertised and the warranty is useless.

Very practical. But started to fall apart after less than a year. Customer service is terrible. They never sent the parts to fix the table, and I had to find some by myself. Im honestly not expecting the table to last long. I would never buy again.

The Transformer Table SAVED us over $6480 so farMy wife has a big, traditional, Italian family.So, when there’s an event, there’s always lots of people involved. And, as a young family with two kids, it seems that almost every single month there was a birthday, baptism, or some other holiday celebration.In the past, weve done the whole restaurant thing, but you know how crazy expensive that can get. It always ends up at $30-$40 a person plus drinks, taxes, tip, etc. Easily hits $1000+ each event.So, we went looking for a solution that let us easily bring everyone together for events at home without being stuck with a table that was too big for the day to day.That’s where we came across Transformer Table!Now of course there’s tons of other tables that have removable sections, but no other table can go from being a desk for 1 to full on dining table with seating for 12.What’s more, we wanted a table that was contemporary and simple since it would never go out of style and go with any decor.So after a bunch of research we bought not just one, but TWO! We figured one we’d have one as our main dining table and the other would be a console table that we would expand and attach to the main one for larger family gatherings.That way, we didn’t need to do the typical “adults table” and “kids table” and keep people separated. Always hated doing that growing up. This way with the Transformer table, everyone could come together at once nice big table.And, six events with the big Italian family, I’m happy to say it’s held up well so far. If we tried to hold all those events at restaurants, we would have been out over $6480 easily.Yes, the retail pricing of the Transformer Table is up there, but like most things, you get what you pay for. The table is solid construction while still being easy to adjust. Plus, I like how each section can be locked into place from buckles underneath so there’s no chance of little fingers getting stuck / inbetween panels.The height of the table is perfect at 30 inches and easily allows for a high chair without the tray to be placed under (we had issues with our old table where the high chair wouldnt fit)I also liked the idea that the table can literally grow with you so if we moved to a bigger house, for example, we wouldn’t have to go looking for a new table.We did have one issue where one of the leaves from one of our two tables has a slight manufacturing defect so it does not sit perfectly flush while in place. Only noticed it recently, so we’re still waiting on a resolution but I’m confident they’ll be able to send me a new one.
