The 25-foot-wide and 30-foot-high Independence Monument at the 6-foot altar was inaugurated in 2016 at Domar High School in Nilphamari. It was designed and planned by GMA Razzak, a former industrial director of Bangladesh Television and a freedom fighter in Sector 6.
