Its my first time in the restaurant we had a great time with amazing traditional Thai food, very good testy, friendly staff,Recommended to try stir fry chicken with basil +fried eggs you will love it 😋😋😋

It may be a good place for escaping the buzzing atmosphere of souq waqif however the food does not meet the expectations of the high price the restaurant sets. The food comes in small servings and its taste is quite far from deserving authentic Thai food. Fortunately, the service was good.

If you wanna go to an authentic thai cuisine here in QA, this is the best place! Ambience was great. Staff were very accommodating and best of all food was sumptuous!!! Although when we got here, the mango sticky rice was not available coz they said it was not that ripe. Well, its better so that I can come again!!

If youre craving Thai food near the Souq, this is a gem!! The service is impeccable with a menu featuring a lot of authentic items. And quality is definitely there! It may seems a little bit pricy but everything comes in good portions. The only downside would be that the decor is pretty bulky and lacks a terrace. Located on the 1st floor of a building on the open area of the Souq, find the outdoor staircase to access it.

It’s not easy to find but it’s really good Thai food . Great services . Tables and chairs very comfortable no need reservations.Not wheelchair access . Parking is huge in Souq .Menu has different type of food so you will be satisfied.

The food was yum and you can eat as much as you want. The waitress and waiters where attending to us great. I wish I would have ate there more often before leaving.

A quiet, ambient restaurant nestled on the second floor of the hotel that offers most authentic Thai cuisines which is not that easy to find in the city. All foods are reasonably priced and professionally prepared, along with personable table service it’s a place I will definitely visit again!!

Nice ambiance, good food and decent price. Opens after 3 pm. They do have home delivery. I loved green Thai curry, can have it literally every day. Papaya salad was great. But what was not available is mango sticky rice , however they had another options. Service is good and prompt. Staff are welcoming and polite. I would recommend it if you are visiting souq as you will have to park the car in souq parking.

At the beginning they destroy the mood and then when we select the menu . He says I should eat allAnd if I didn’t finished all I have to pay . Accept that policy . But when I having food I realized that some food taste is not same like in Thai and taste is not good so I have rights to ignore it coz the taste is not good. And the male waiter always says u have this and that and finished before 11 . Food wasn’t good that much and hospitality is 0 .. very bad experience...

Well, my friends from Thailand says it’s a nice place to stay, and eat national food. However, I can’t say the same about drinks, cuz I didn’t like my drink and all my friends didn’t like their as well.

The padthai and tomyum is to die for but its a little costly. The resto also have a cozy Thai ambiance.

Terrible food. No flavor. Small portion sizes compared to expensive price point and bad service once mistakes were pointed out. Chicken satay was 4 skinny pieces and the chicken was flavourless and old. Will never visit again.

Great place for thai food. Our favorites are: yellow curry, chicken fried Rice, tom yum soup, pad thai, mango sticky rice and their coconut icecream which they dont do anymore but that we miss SO MUCH!

Actually the food was great and the ambiance was spectacular. Em giving it a 2/5 star coz I dont like (only a little) the way they served us after. I was still eating when they start to remove the plates of my uncle qnd husband coz maybe they assumed that they were done...juz bcoz they were just chatting. I fed my children first so i get to eat late...when i was savoring the moment, they start removing the plates which is by the way offending for some people...like me maybe. Em i being bratty? Its just sometimes we just chat while we eat then we eat again...as long as were not asking anyone to remove the plates then maybe they should wait until we said so....after that i just paid the bill and get the hell out of that place. Em sorry it was really offending to me. But yah your food was great...

Hidden away up a staircase, very close to a ladies only resting area, the approach can be a bit daunting for a man. Once inside the decor is pretty unremarkable but the food was good.

I love the Thai way of making curry . I ordered red curry duck and Tom yum. Red curry soup is tasty and it’s totally different from Indian way . However the duck meat is not as tasty as what I expected . It’s probably coz it’s frozen and duck meat is not that popular here. Tom Yum soup is good and for me it’s really Tom yum soup . Missing one star for the duck meat but in term of Thai cooking , I will be back . ~€

If you are looking for some authentic Thai food, then look no further. The restaurant opens only in the afternoon, but the food offered here is exquisite. Green Thai curry is an all-time favourite. Most of the items shown on the menu are available, while some of them are seasonal.

Food was good but service was slow. Sat down and it took them 10 mins to ask for drinks. They need to hire more workers. Other than that good quality food downside no good hot sauce.

A Thai restaurant at Souk Waqif, Jasmine Thai offers authentic Asian food. The ambiance is lacking a bit as the decor is commercial Asian but the food is tasty and the service is good. A bit pricey for one person it they have a lunch buffet that may be worth a visit.

I used to love this restaurant so much.But today the food quality was very bad. Phad thai was very sweet and sour unlike before. So i was telling the staff about this. However she reacted like i have never had phad thai before in my life. Also staffs looked very stressed and unfriendly today. I am so disappointed at this restaurant. I will never come back.

Delicious! This is literally a hidden gem in Souq Waquif as the entrance is a narrow stair way between two houses. Food is delicious and portions come in a good size ( we had Tom Youm soup, Dumplings, and Papaya Salad in 2 and was more than enough), and staff is very friendly. For those who cant do spicy food like me but love Thai kitchen, all dishes can be make non spicy. Will definitely come back to try other options from their menu

A limited number of vegetarian dishes (5 to be precise). I plumped for the green curry with mixed vegetables (Gaeng Kiew Warn Jae) and Im glad I did. It was flavourful. I asked for it to be spicy and it came nicely spiced without impairing the flavour. I was too full to be tempted by the desserts. I had a diet coke to drink. At QR59, it seemed reasonably priced.

There are other Thai restaurants in Doha and this place by far has the most authentic flavor. Their foods not the only thing thats good - but the staffs are hospitable and the service is fast.Overall, I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to eat at Souq Waqif.
