Variety of foods / dishes , as the name states , star of India has lots of patrons / customers who cherishes some of their favorite Indian food with this place , actually it’s one of the oldest known authentic Indian Restaurant in Qatar and people like me has childhood memory visiting this place at least once.I liked their spacious interior , customer service is good and food has taste .

Very calm, clean hotel, and customer-friendly staffs, even we visited at closing time, they had a friendly behaviour. Here you can get buffet system for just QR 48. Haidarabadi biriyani was delicious. They offers a chatni and pappad as welcome food. It located in Markhiya.

I think covid has taken a toll. Few sections of the restaurant were closed for public.Hope this place will bounce back to its old glory!

This restaurant situated at Medinat Khalifa south. Interior of the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. Staff is friendly.Now lets talk about food. I had opportunity to have buffet dinner here. Number of varieties are less but most of items are good to taste. There is combination of typical north Indian and Pakistani dishes. Sweet is also limited but good. Parking is an issue here. Recommended to give a try.

The staff were courteous but the food was below standard. The rice was not cooked properly. The fruits in fruit salad were nit fresh. Options for a vegetarian is limited to bread with 2 vegetables. No rice no curry only dal.

A well made food that suits almost everyone. Price is affordable, you have different types of meals, yet only one down side is that it gets too crowded you could waste min(s) in the queue.

The atmosphere and lighting was so depressing that i would never like to visit again. The food was also not so good.

Non Veg team has some reasonable dishes. Veg team did not have any good dishes. Not worth of money for Veg team. Visited twice. Same feeling in both times. No more visit to this hotel.

Went there with four family friends for Dinner Ramadan dinner with high expectations of delicious dinner. Totally disappointed 😔 ☹️☹️ with lathergic attitude of service, horrible smelly samosas for starters. Diluted tasteless veg soup dampened the whole weekend spirit of the group. When brought to attention of supervisor, somehow managed to provide reasonably tasteful main course of food. Try to avoid this restaurant 😂 😂 otherwise bound to get let down and spoil ur whole day or evening ☹️☹️😢😢

Good one for Indian community

I have been visiting this restaurant from past 14 years. They havent made any change.The menu is also the same. They should try to bring some variance to the menu. There are many other indian delicacies which could be presented. Outdoor appearance is untidy and the plantation is very poor.

I am being here in Qatar past 7 years. And I just wanna try with new tast at Star of India. The best of worst quality of food, there is no taste at all. The restaurant is in good location and looks nice spending some time with your family. Its waste of money and it is not worth for even a peeny. All of the food materials they used Frozen and nothing is fresh even a green salads. Dont waste your time and money guys....
