My favorite place all time, you can feel a peace there

There are numerous spots in a single stop I.e, dolphin nose, echo rock, suicide point, Guna cave. But you have to boost yourself before tou start to trek. The first place where I took slippers for rent in the world. Keep this as first spot in your lost when you reach Kodaikanal.

The place is worth a walk down the hill. The mist and the trees makes the place romantic. But its really scary when I stood on the tip (Little far from the tip) of the Dolphin nose. It really echoes when we shout and I wonder how that single rock got placed there perfectly like a chair. All praise to the nature. Nature at its best.

Honestly, this is the reason I visit Vattakanal.Echo Point is a brilliant spot to soak into the panoramic view of the deep gorge that lies in front of you. The surreal weather with mist and clouds surrounding you add to the ethereal experience of being one with nature. If you love elevations and are attracted to the mountain magic -drop down here and spend an eternity.Well, for me, we picked a couple of fruits on our way down here from the main road. There are a lot of local fruit sellers and you get to taste the indigenous fruits growing wild in this county.Then, we parked ourselves on the massive boulders at this point. Fortunately, we were spared some privacy as not many people visited this point that day. Lying down on the big rocks, just witnessing the blue sky, the mist around and feeling the chill of the wind against your face are the perks you receive as a result of your efforts to reach here. If you’re hungry, munch on your fruits and leave this place satisfied but leave no trail of garbage around.PS: It is brilliant place to just sit and contemplate or even just sit and meditate. Do not miss out on this holistic experience.

We dont like the place that much.nothing special after difficult walks.i think it may better if there is mist.

This point is located just near to the Dolphins Nose. We need to go down a few feet’s below the Dolphins Nose on the opposite side. Great view again. Mountains surrounded by lush green trees and fog.One can hear his own echo if we shout out loud. It’s a very nice place to be. Be careful with the trek which is very narrow from the Dolphins Nose, though just for a few feet’s.Can sit and enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest.Take plenty of fluids and watch out your steps as the hills are pretty uneven. Definitely a must visit site in Kodaikanal.

If you get to visit Kodaikanal, Dolphin Nose is highly recommended. Echo point is opposite to Dolphin Nose. Have to trek downhill to reach the place. But the view is worth the trek. Enjoy the climate when visited during season time.

It is a really eco point with the best part of this point is it is situated at thousand feet above the sea level where there is a lake or I should say muthupatti dam and then mountains and then comes the point ...so one thousand feet above the sea level there is water and mountains and an Eco point.. so worth watching..

The echo point in vattakanal is breathtakingly beautiful. I trekked for 6 km to see it and all all efforts were totally worth it! Amazing for photography lovers, nature lovers, peace seekers. Also, it was off season when I went there so it was not very much crowded which was a plus point for me!vattakanal, in all ways, is much more beautiful than kodaikanal!

Calm and peaceful place. smell of eucalyptus and fell the beauty of nature . Its quite a good place to spend. Be cautious, slippery path and rocks . View from the point is great . Try to spend some time there . Better to carry a bottle of water with .

Worth the uphill climb that youll have to make to get here. It might demand strong legs and stamina. The view from the top is breathtaking. You can sit here and fawn over nature and the beauty of our world minus the human cacophony.

The place comes into view after 1.5 km downhill trek. But the view from there is worth it. However there was no echo even when I shouted on the rock for 2 hr

Eco point is the last place of Kodaikanal and vattakanal hill range beyond which the cliff decend’s , the place is called exp point because the point is completely surrounded by mountain so it eco’s

If you are on a trek for Dolphins nose and still walk further, you finally reach the Echo Point where at the very edge if you scream facing the rising mountains on your right, your voice will echo. Of course, it doesnt echo just the way it shows in movies but its still a wonderful experience.

Not so great view. You have to walk for an hr to reach this point . Definitely not advisable for elders.
