In my young age, back in around 2005 whenever my family plan for a digha trip, this was the automatic place for stay. at that time it was not so well decorated, they also dont have any kitchen. But it has a home like simple atmosphere. like Hone away from home I wonder this place still lock the room which was used by Dr. B. C. Roy?

Situated in good place. Everything is within the grip. Sea facing rooms are available. But, door of bathroom of Room No 10 is very small. Only 18 inches wide. As a result, entrance of the toilet is very difficult.

I am going since 4 to 5 times it is very good and it is like a home and it is very good for family and it is near the sea Beach

Has limited number of rooms with many rooms with poor flooring, poor toilet facility (especially the toilet seats which needs to be replaced), dirty floor mats, non-functional 14 inch CRT television sets. Only 3 or 4 rooms has a decent ambience with proper double sized beds & sitting arrangements. There is a common space in the 1st floor from which you can watch the sea directly along with the huge number of small local shops which cuts the view by almost 50%. I liked the ample amount of parking space in their lawn. However you will have to wait for sometime in the crowded sea beach road to get someone open the gates and get your car inside just incase you are travelling by car. They do not have a gatekeeper and the job of opening the door is done by their room service boys only. So you have to walk inside using a small gate to inform them and get the main gate opene. Secondly, most of the time you would find bikes & cycles right outside the main gate which is done intentionally by other shopkeepers outside and you might have to wait again till you get the entrance clean. Since, the car entrance is located in the beach road itself, you will always have to drive through the thousands of people in that narrow passage (road) and at times you might even find a few people hitting the car with their hands or anything they are holding since its obstructing their way while you are waiting impatiently for the hotel guys to come & open the gate. This lodge does not have any internal restaurant and therefore you have to take care of your own food. Service boys will serve you tea in the morning and evening along with a bucket full of hot (running) water to take a bath but they will charge you randomly for each favor they do. Overall a good place to stay especially if you are in a picnic mood & do not mind the issues I mentioned here. PS: They dont allow stags to check-in to their lodge

Room no 5.it Sucks.. U shouldnt provide this kind of room where the fan doesnt work properly.. Small room....bad experience..

Very much homly atmosphere. .

The bathroom is too small , very dirty curtains , the bed sheet is dirty And most importantly they wont give you the AC remote . They will say the temperature of AC is at 16 , if it gets cold then shut it down . Overall this is very bad experience . Please dont come here this is a loyal advice.

Bed is not good enough.. Hotel charges 5 rs. Per bottle for cold water... Atleast water should be free
