Nehru market is a market complex situated at gobindabasa, old digha, purba medinipur district, west bengal. Almost all sorts of shops are availalable here. Old digha sea beach is about 200 metres and new digha sea beach is about 1.5kms from here. Govt tourist lodge of west begal tourism development corporation named saikat abas and dighi is near to this market.

Market is good but little higher prices of everything. If you want to buy first then wake up early at morning and take a toto or Auto and go to Mohona and there you can buy fish at lower prices. Make sure you have to do bargaining before you buy fish.

Very good for groceries and fish

Come here to get fresh fish and chicken along with other normal shops. They have shops to cook the fish or chicken you buy and will deliver to your hotel as well. Apart from that you will have beach like shops of a variety of range. This market is a bit pricy as compared to the beach ones. Also the fresh seafoods would cost you more than if you buy the same itesm at mohona(delta). Also this is no place for bargaining.
