I have been going to this practice for years and years, my children and I typically see Dr Balaji or for immunisations, Nurse Brad. Wonderful and very caring staff at this practice and are always going above and beyond for my little ones, even fixing my toddlers broken toy one time! Dr Balaji is an exceptional doctor and very compassionate, nice to see a gp who clearly and genuinely cares about his patients. All the other doctors I have seen while he is unavailable are great too, especially Dr Sandra.

The reception staff and the nurses are wonderful, friendly and super helpful!. However I saw a GP there who was terrible at communication.He didn’t outline the risks of a procedure (or even what the procedure was) and I ended up in hospital.He was dismissive and rude and couldn’t care about my health issues

Dr Balaji has been looking after my family for years. My little boy needed urgent medical attention on Friday and received great care from Dr Balaji and Brad (the nurse). He is much better now. Our gratitude is beyond words.

Reception staff are rude and not knowledgeable, and the staff (doctors and reception) are unhelpful.

Lovely staff except for the actual doctor who was antagonising and dismissive, giving my friend an iron infusion without telling her the side effects - now we are leaving from a whole day in hospital because we didnt know nausea, cramping, fever, dizziness, joint and muscle aches were normal. Tell your patients what theyre in for, we arent just customers.

I saw Dr Balaji, he does his job in a professional manner. I was satisfied with the services provided.

Doctor Balaji is great! Nevertheless, hard to reach as he probably has too many patients at his care, and I personally had a bad experience. Is my first pregnancy and I moved from my usual GP to Dickson GP to be closer to home ... regretted it quickly. Never got called back to receive my blood results, never got good guidance on which steps I needed to take, got wrongly advised on pregnancy scans and lectured in a poor way by a female doctor. I left the practice that day and broke into tears.Had to go back to my usual GP, where I got told I was late for a few things, the GP had to put me up do date on my pregnancy schedule, consequently was late for my midwife appointment, late for the birth center, only found out late I was low in iron, etc.Also, I found I was charged significantly more here than in any other practice I have visited before.Sadly would not recommend for pregnancy.

Unfortunately one of the worst GP experiences I have ever had. If you prefer transactional, little rude, absent bedside manner, and express appointments this is your place. We saw DR Sandra, unfortunately I would suggest fine for adults but avoid for family / children appointments and see another GP practice.

A phenomenal practice, easily the best in Canberra. Dr Balajis compassion and expertise is unmatched!

Dr Balaji is the kindest and most thorough GP I have encountered. He is dedicated to identifying and treating the cause of problems and as a patient I always feel heard and respected.

Dickson GP is very efficient. This is not my normal GP practice, but I was lucky they were open on a Saturday. Dr Mustafa looked after me with great care, thoroughness and professionalism. Great people working there, thanks.

I am a long-term patient of Dr Tim O’Neill and recommend him without hesitation to anyone seeking a doctor who combines high-level professional knowledge with experience and good judgment. His manner is friendly and approachable and he has always treated me as a person and never as a customer. His quick intervention has at least once saved me from very serious illness. The Majura Medical Centre is always well maintained and its reception staff are also friendly, competent and unfailingly helpful.

Waited over an hour from my scheduled appointment time to see a doctor despite my appointment being early in the morning. Do not come here if you don’t have hours to sit around waiting.

I was very disappointed with the service. Even though I made an appointment the Dr was 1.5 hours late, with no apology. The Dr only saw me for 10 minutes to check test results, and no issues were raised, however I was still charged for the appointment. Highly not recommended!

I have had two appointments with Dickson GP and had to cancel the second one after hearing that there was a patient before me at 12:50 while I was waiting from 12:20 for my appointment at 12:30. The receptionists were quite uncaring about the patients and borderline rude.I dont understand how they can proudly operate the GP while charging patients $85 (before Medicare) for an appointment.If you have a lot (I mean a lot) of time in your hands, I would recommend it maybe for the kind doctor.Such a shame that a satisfactory 20 minute consultation is ruined by the 40 minute wait and the incompetent and rude receptionists.

Dr Balaji has a calm, understanding, caring nature towards every patient. He explains everything in a way that makes us feel comfortable and at ease. I have found my family doctor and would recommend him to anyone.

Was able to get an appointment very promptly, for the following day. Receptionist was friendly. Reasonable price. Seen 15-30 minutes later than scheduled. Unfortunately, the doctor was not very helpful. Prescribed what I later found out to be an over the counter medicine with the same active ingredient as what I was already using. I had brought it in and shown the doctor, explaining thats what I was using and that it was not working. So I was pretty frustrated that she prescribed basically the same thing and I felt that it was a waste of time and money. I ended up later finding a stronger otc option that worked thru a friends suggestion. Some of the doctors other recommendations were helpful though. Doctor seemed friendly but it felt kind of awkward at times (possibly just me).Update: Was contacted by owner to discuss my concerns. Was very nice and helpful, offering me a chance to come back for a second opinion. Seems to really care about his patients and their satisfaction.

Great experience and quality of care each time I visit plus always lovely staff. Highly recommend Dr Tim ONeill and Majura Medical in general for authentic down to earth advice and medical care.

Came on time for my appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes. When I was finally seen the doctor seemed flustered, confused and unorganised. Will not be back!

I have been a patient of Dr O Neill since before 2009 and have always found him to be friendly and able to treat my medical problems to my satisfaction . In 2009 , he treated me for a cancer diagnosis , with reference to suitable specialists , and I continued consulting him following successful hospital treatment . Since then , I have sought his assistance for other conditions and have achieved successful results .

I want to express my thanks for the quality customer service provided by the doctors and staff at Dickson General Practice. Every time I visit I am greeted by friendly staff and receive the best personal medical advise possible, in my view. Thank you Dr Pillalamary and Dr Ssentamu and Registered Nurse Sharyn Bashfield.

The waiting period is absolutely terrible, receptionists have no idea what timeframe should be allocating for each appointments and a buffer time of running late,each time i waited 30 mins andnever coming back. no point to pay the gap and wait, wasted my time and energy
