The sculptural splendor of Maharashtra is well known. We have a rich heritage of caves, temples and many other carvings in the foothills. This paradise has been created by many unknown hands. Caves and temples, which are an integral part of the culture of Maharashtra, have enriched the Maratha culture. There are more or less caves and beautiful temples of Hemadpanthi construction in black stone all over Maharashtra.Such a splendor is hidden in Marathwada. At the same distance from Ambajogai and Parli-Vaijnath talukas in Beed district - about 30 km. There is a small village called Dharmapuri.Like the other four villages in Marathwada. A main road and a settlement on either side of it. After crossing the village, we cross a small field on the left side of the main road and come across a beautiful temple - Kedareshwar.It is said to have been built in the 11th to 12th centuries during the Chalukya dynasty, one of the earliest and extended dynasties in Maharashtra. This temple, which has a very quiet and romantic surroundings, is sure to drive the mind crazy.The structure of Kedareshwar temple is also very beautiful. It is constructed in four sections namely Mukhamandap, Sabhamandap, Antaral and Garbhagriha. The temple has three entrances namely West, North and South.

Kedareshwar Temple is a medieval Shiva temple near Dharmapuri village in Beed district of Maharashtra. It is built in the Chalukya style.Temple:This temple is about 1 km from the village. At a distance, this complete structure is 57 × 48 feet long and wide and the mahimandap is very spacious and magnificent. The 16 pillars in this pavilion are very imaginatively erected. A colorful stone on the 9 × 9 × 6 square of the Mahamandapa attracts the mind On all four corners are four huge sculptural pillars. There is also a charming sculpture of Kirtimukh, Saptamatrika, Varaha etc. on the roof of Rangshila. In the center of the canopy is a full-blown lotus. The inch-by-inch part of this roof is sculpted with geometric shapes and lapallavi knots.Mukhamandap, Mahamandap, Antaral and Garbhagriha are the main parts of this temple. Gajathar and Narthara structures are found on the half wall of the temple. There are five sculptures of different geometric shapes on the entrance of the sanctum sanctorum. There is a huge celebrity on the threshold. The sanctum sanctorum is 10 × 10 and the flat roof of the sanctum sanctorum is erected on the basis of a specific geometric figure.
