A great place to pass a day with your family. But as a national zoo its not up to the mark. Most of the case are blank or only contain one or two animals. Childrens play area does have a very few items to play with. Authority should consider these.

Zoo Museum at Dhaka National Zoo. There are number of dead animals which preserved with chemical ingredients. Also there is a fish aquarium where numerous types of fishes.

This is awesome place for visitors but not enough Animals. Maximum Cage are null and void. There are many Animals unhealthy & weak.

Day by day, the number of animals are decreasing. Some animals are shown in map, but wasnt found, kangaroo is one of them. And in recent past there were many species of snakes, but absent in present. But, still its very enjoyable place for all. You can pass a very charming day through this zoo.

Ideal place for family entertainment

Many more varieties animals are in stock now.All the case are full of large small animal and birds.Huge variation in monkey is found.Place is very clean and secured.Both knowledge and entertainment can be gathered. Going in zoo now will be worthy of money and time. All the vets are dedicated about animal health.But remember dont bring any food for animal which can be detrimental for them.Bring water and snacks and umbrella. Big place need at least 2 hrs to complete.

Its was good for knowledge about our fishing information. But this place not clean, they are not carrying.

Its an wonderful place that mummified some of the most rarest and already extinct animals of Bangladesh. It also preserves the remains of the dead innocent animal children in bio resistant jars filled with chemicals they look as if sleeping relaxed like the human children do.

The Dhaka Zoo was established in 1950 to display animals at the High Court premises. Dhaka Zoo was established for the purpose of wildlife conservation, research, education and entertainment. In 1981, the zoo was shifted from the High Court premises to Mirpur. Dhaka Zoo was established on an area of ​​16.60 acres on the banks of Turag river in Mirpur. It was opened to the public in 1984. There are 175 species of carnivores, herbivores, small mammals, reptiles, birds and fish aquarium animals.Mirpur Zoo has a total of 2,000 animals. Animals include Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian Lion, Cheetah Tiger, Black Bear, Indian Lion, Elephant, Horse, Cow, Hippopotamus, Cattle, Deer, Banrui, Bear, Monkey, Chimpanzee, Giraffe, Zebra, Mayahrin, Chitraharin, Race , Cowboy, White Peacock, Flamingo, Cao Cormorant, Goldfish, Chital Fish, Fali Fish, Whale Skeleton, Dolphin and Soul Fish are some of them. There are also two lakes for guest birds and fish inside the zoo. He also set up a museum with her. Where animals and various fish have been collected.

One of the best enjoyable place for children. National zoo in Mirpur i was visited recently. 50 taka the entrance feee.big area. Most interesting i there Tigers, Lions, monkey and all kind of animals in there. Wonderful natural environment in zooo. Lots of big tree.Green environment. Just wow.I want to go Again and Again.

It is not worth the money. They Dont maintained it in proper way. Just some fish was there which are pretty much local fish.

Entrance fee is 10 rupees. The corpses of various animals are preserved. The fish aquarium is very beautiful. There are also whale skeletons.

This Museum’s decorations and sooo many special collection of so many extinct species. Specially that’s all thing will attract you soo much.. You can also see Their a skeleton of a big giant whale. Collection is good. But the arrangement of the display is not properly articulated. The space is very less, not commensurating with the quantity of display materials. Overall condition of the museum is poor and shabby. I am looking forward to a good management by authority which will excell it to become a good learning source to the visitors and wildlife enthusiastics.
